Sha Zhu, seeing that it was almost time, hummed a little tune and went out.
As soon as I stepped outside, I saw Qin Huairu squatting by the pool washing clothes.
As darkness fell, in the hazy light, Qin Huairu's slender waist swayed, making Sha Zhu's heart itch.
He approached quietly and deliberately coughed loudly.
Qin Huairu was startled. When she looked up and saw that it was Sha Zhu, her face flushed slightly, and she hurriedly reached out to tug at the back of her clothes.
Sha Zhu chuckled: "Sister Qin, you've had a long day at work, take a break when you have a moment. Now that you're on duty, let Aunt Jia do the laundry."
"She can't wash it properly, so I just wash it when I have a spare moment."
Qin Huairu smiled bitterly. Making Jia Zhangshi wash clothes in the dead of winter was worse than letting the old woman just die.
"Where are you going, facing the pillar?"
Qin Huairu tucked a stray hair behind her ear and asked with a smile.
Sha Zhu looked at Qin Huairu, who was looking up at her, and liked her more and more. He couldn't help but squat down next to her.
"Sister Qin, I've thought of a solution. I'll go to Da Bao's place later and see if I can transfer you to the warehouse. There's not much work there, just bookkeeping, and the pay isn't less than in the kitchen."
As he spoke, Sha Zhu, seeing that no one was around, took the opportunity to squeeze Qin Huairu's hand.
