Sha Zhu's old face was beaming with happiness, more radiant than blooming chrysanthemums.
Suddenly, a shoe sole flew towards him, and before he could react, the entire sole hit him on the left cheek.
Before Sha Zhu could react, Jia Zhangshi was already in front of him, jumping up and down and scratching his face.
"You filthy scoundrel! Your father, He Daqing, is a big beast, and you, He Yuzhu, are a little beast. Your whole family are beasts. You do nothing but cheat on your wife and covet other people's wives."
Sha Zhu, supporting his injured arm, couldn't pry Jia Zhangshi away at all, so he had no choice but to run away.
However, because of his arms, he couldn't maintain his balance when running and couldn't run fast at all.
Sha Zhu ran ahead, while Jia Zhangshi chased after him, cursing and occasionally throwing shoe soles at him.
Don't let Sha Zhu's reckless attitude fool you. He's ruthless and brutal when it comes to his peers like Xu Damao and Yan Jiecheng, especially when it comes to hitting them in the groin. But when it comes to the older folks, he just talks and doesn't dare to lay a hand on them.
The two ran off into the yard.
Wang Dabao didn't move; he sat down on the steps in front of the Jia family's house, took out a cigarette, lit it, and happily watched the monkey show.
Qin Huairu watched in bewilderment as her mother-in-law chased after Sha Zhu, completely unaware of what was happening.
Sha Zhu's face was already covered in scratches, bloody marks from Jia Zhangshi's scratches. Wang Dabao's pupils widened in shock. Good heavens, he probably needs a tetanus shot!
"Mom, Mom, what's going on?"
Qin Huairu tried to stop Jia Zhangshi from running away, but unexpectedly Jia Zhangshi pushed her and made her fall.
"You slut, get out of my way."
Jia Zhangshi continued her attack with undiminished force, picking up the sole of her shoe and smashing it against the back of Sha Zhu's head. "You shameless little beast, just wait to be a bachelor for the rest of your life! If anyone tries to introduce you to a potential partner, I'll ruin it for you as soon as I see it."
Sha Zhu knew he was in the wrong, so he kept avoiding Jia Zhangshi and didn't dare to say a word back.
Seeing Wang Dabao watching the commotion from the steps with a cigarette in his mouth, he couldn't help but glare at him fiercely.
Hearing the commotion, He Yushui ran out from the north side room of Yi Zhonghai's house.
Seeing Jia Zhangshi chasing and beating Sha Zhu, they could only watch helplessly, unable to do anything about it.
She knew Jia Zhangshi's fighting prowess well; having grown up in a courtyard house, she knew that if she went up against her, she would only be beaten and would be completely useless. She could only stomp her feet in frustration.

Wang Dabao knew it was Xu Damao just by hearing his voice.
Turning my head, I saw that after a night's rest, Xu Damao's pig-face had faded considerably, revealing the outline of his horse-face. He was wearing a white shirt, pushing his bicycle through the moon gate, and heading this way.
"I was wondering why all this commotion is happening so early in the morning..."
Before Xu Damao could finish speaking, he turned his head and saw Jia Zhangshi chasing and hitting Sha Zhu.
Xu Damao's body jolted, and he immediately perked up. He happily jogged over to Wang Dabao and Qin Huairu, pushing his bicycle: "What's going on? Did Shazhu peep at the old lady taking a bath?"
"Wow, Da Mao is amazing."
Wang Dabao gave a thumbs up.
Really?
Xu Damao placed the car ladder down, squatted down next to Wang Dabao with his bag tucked under his arm, took out a cigarette and offered one to Wang Dabao. "No way, what's so interesting about this fat pig? If you're going to look at something, it's probably..."
As he spoke, Xu Damao looked up at Qin Huairu.
"Xu Damao, are you trying to be a thug?"
Qin Huairu had a gloomy face, which gave her a unique charm.
Xu Damao grunted twice, "I didn't act like a hooligan, but when I came over, I saw you acting like a hooligan towards Dabao."
At this moment, He Yushui also ran over, bowing her head as she approached Wang Dabao and the others.
"Brother Da Mao, Brother Da Bao, please help my brother! If this continues, he'll be scratched to death by Aunt Jia!"
The group looked toward the battlefield and, lo and behold, saw Sha Zhu trip and fall, his arm in his hand. Jia Zhangshi didn't hesitate at all; she immediately climbed on his back, sat down on his back, grabbed his hair, and started scratching his face.
It's a terrible sight!

After Sha Zhu howled and struggled for a while, he finally managed to throw Jia Zhangshi off his back and onto the ground.
