Hearing the commotion, Jia Dongxu from the Intermediate People's Court, supported by Qin Huairu, limped over to see what was happening.
"Uncle, what happened in the backyard?"
Jia Dongxu hurriedly called out to Yan Bugui, who was a few steps away from him.
"I just got here too, how would I know? Dongxu, you're in this state, can't you just stay home and stay put? Watching all the drama will only hurt you."

As Yan Bugui walked, he turned his head and said, "Da Bao and I have a pretty good relationship. Don't gossip in front of me in the future, or I might let it slip to Da Bao."
The third uncle gave a cold snort, then ignored Jia Dongxu and jogged towards Wang Dabao's house.
After a two-second pause, Jia Dongxu pointed at Yan Bugui's back and said to Qin Huairu, "With a face like that, he still dares to grumble at me. If he weren't so old, he could be a third uncle and beat me up."
"Alright, say less and walk slowly."
Qin Huairu helped Jia Dongxu walk slowly toward the crowd.
Yan Bugui pushed aside the people in front of him, squinted his eyes and searched for Wang Dabao's whereabouts. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that Wang Dabao was still sitting on the steps.
Ever since he and Wang Dabao swindled over two hundred yuan from everyone last time, Yan Bugui felt like he was on the same pirate ship as Wang Dabao.
Although he teaches elementary school math, we still have some mutual respect and understanding.
"Da Bao, are you alright? What happened?"
Yan Bugui rushed up to Wang Dabao in a few quick steps, speaking with concern.
"Old Yan is here. I'm fine, but Old Liu isn't doing so well."

Yi Zhonghai sat on the steps east of Wang Dabao's house, rubbing his stomach weakly and tugging at Sha Zhu's clothes. "Didn't I tell you on the way here that we're here to resolve something, not to fight?"
Wang Dabao sighed, "Old Yi, why did you and Sha Zhu come to me and beat up Old Liu? What did he do to you? Wasn't that a bit too domineering?"
"How dare you speak? It's all because of you."
Sha Zhu got angry when he saw Wang Dabao's relaxed expression. "Tell me, did you smear my grandma?"
“Wang Dabao, you are utterly wicked. My grandma is so old and cares so much about her reputation. Not only did you throw dirty water on her, but you also made her fall. You are not human.”
"Silly Zhu, you need to provide evidence for what you say."
Before Wang Dabao could speak, Yan Bugui objected, "Old Yi is sitting here too. We have to speak from the heart. I just heard Old Liu say that when his wife saw the old lady, the doors and windows of Wang Dabao's house were all closed."
"Besides, Da Bao's character is guaranteed, so the old lady must have misremembered this."

Yi Zhonghai looked at Wang Dabao expressionlessly, "Dabao, don't take it to heart. It's just a misunderstanding. Who would have thought it would turn out like this?"
Immediately afterwards, Yi Zhonghai walked up to Liu Haizhong and said, "Haizhong, we've been neighbors for many years. It's inevitable that we'll bump into each other living in the same compound. How about this, come over to my place for a drink tonight. I bought some pork belly when I got off work, and his auntie's dinner is almost ready."
Liu Haizhong lowered his head and hesitated for two seconds, then turned to look at Wang Dabao.
