Chapter Seventy-One: He took care of her and Bao with utmost tenderness and patience...
Chapter 71
Rong Weiyue was taken aback by Fu Linzheng's words, and then her heart was filled with tender love.
Some husbands might feel impatient when they see their wives' mood swings and irritability in the early stages of pregnancy, but Fu Linzheng is the opposite. He's afraid she doesn't rely on him enough and wants to give her more care and love.
She knew that marrying Fu Linzheng was the best decision she had ever made in her life, and that no one in the world would ever love her like he did.
Rong Weiyue nestled into his arms, hugging him tightly, her voice soft and gentle:
"Silly dog, why are you overthinking things even more than I am now?"
Fu Linzheng took the opportunity to put his arm around her, saying, "I was afraid you were overthinking it."
“Really, no,” she looked up at him, “and how could I not love you that much? You are the person I love most in this world, I love you the most.”
Fu Linzheng lowered his lips and said lazily, "Thinking about it, it makes sense. With such a perfect husband, even if you give it your all every day, you still can't love him enough."
Rong Weiyue smiled; this person started being narcissistic again in less than two minutes.
She rested her chin on her chest, looked up at him, and said softly, "I know that it's easy to have mood swings when you're pregnant. Lulu also told me that, but I really don't feel that way right now. Maybe it's just not the right time yet. I'm happy every day, and you take such good care of me. I want to be obedient and sensible so that you won't get too tired."
Fu Linzheng frowned and gently pinched her cheek: "Rong Weiyue, you'd better get rid of the idea of 'obedient and sensible' from your mind as soon as possible. When did I ever ask you to be like that when you marry me? In our family, you can do whatever you want. I love you no matter how spoiled or fussy you are, as long as you're happy, understand?"
She looked at him, and tears welled up in her eyes. "Mmm..."
From childhood to adulthood, she was always required to be sensible. Only he repeatedly removed the shackles from her body, allowing her to relearn how to be herself.
“Having a baby is a matter for both of us, you don’t need to shoulder it all alone,” Fu Linzheng patted her head. “Taking care of you is my responsibility now. If you don’t ask me for help, who else would you ask? Aren’t I the most useful?”
Rong Weiyue nodded with a smile and said softly, "Okay, then I won't be polite. Go and cut a pear for me, and some cantaloupe too."
"good."
"Then get me some snacks, my favorites, and bring me my sketchbooks from my study. After the meeting, fill the bathtub with water so I can take a bath later. You need to give me a massage."
Fu Linzheng raised an eyebrow, his smile deepening: "So you're really going to be this impolite?"
She pouted, "Didn't you say that?"
The man chuckled and patted her head. "Okay, wait."
After this incident, Rong Weiyue's state of mind gradually changed.
In the early stages of her pregnancy, she may have intended to remain independent, but now she has relaxed and relies more on Fu Linzheng, expressing her needs to him and telling him all her thoughts.
Fu Linzheng was delighted with this and spoiled her so much that she became his little princess who didn't have to do anything at home and could get the whole world just by meowing.
For example, after she became pregnant, her appetite changed drastically. She would often suddenly crave foods that she rarely ate or even disliked, and the craving would come and go quickly.
One night during the second week after finding out he was pregnant, Fu Linzheng was half asleep when he realized the person in his arms was gone. When he opened his eyes, he saw the little girl curled up by the bed, wearing a light yellow nightgown that made her look like a little egg roll. She was scrolling through her phone, her almond-shaped eyes bright as she stared at a food vlog on the screen.
How can she be so cute?
Fu Linzheng's heart softened and he pulled her into his arms from behind, chuckling helplessly, "Baby, why are you looking at food so late at night instead of sleeping? Are you that hungry?"
Rong Weiyue was taken aback, not expecting him to be awake: "I was just looking, I didn't want to eat..."
"Your mouth is practically watering, and you call that not wanting to eat?"
Her cheeks flushed, and she mumbled an "Mmm." Fu Linzheng said, "How could you be so stupid? You were hungry and didn't tell me? You think watching videos will quench your thirst?"
"It's too late, and I don't want to wake you up."
"Doesn't it break my heart if you can't sleep like this? What do you want to eat right now?"
The little girl pursed her lips, revealing two dimples on her face, and said in a soft, honest voice, "Hmm... I want to eat mango sago pudding and steamed corn and pork dumplings. Would that be too much trouble?"
He leaned closer and whispered seductively, "Give me a kiss."
Rong Weiyue curved her eyebrows and kissed his thin lips. Then the man stood up, curled his lips into a lazy and arrogant expression: "It's not complicated. What can't your husband do? Leave it to me."
After saying that, Fu Linzheng went to the kitchen, opened the refrigerator and found that the mangoes were not fresh. He knew that ordering takeout on his phone would take a long time, so he didn't hesitate for half a second and went out immediately.
The night was cool, and the streetlights were on one by one. The man ran to a 24-hour convenience store at the entrance of the residential area, picked out two fresh items, and hurried home.
While cooking sago pearls, he peeled a mango. The mango was very slippery, and his hand slipped slightly, cutting his fingertip. Red blood seeped out. He frowned, quickly cleaned it up, and then went to mince the pork into a paste, adding corn, chopped green onions, and seasonings.
If outsiders saw this scene, they would be astonished: the heir of Mingheng, worth hundreds of billions, was actually in the kitchen at 1 a.m., earnestly making dumplings and desserts for his pregnant wife.
The aroma gradually filled the air. After a while, he brought the food back to the room and saw the little girl hugging a pillow, leaning against the headboard, breathing softly, her sleepy face gentle and obedient.
He went over, gently placed the tray on the bedside table, and lightly stroked her head:
"Baby, the food is ready. Do you want some more?"
Rong Weiyue's eyelashes trembled, and she groggily opened her eyes, nodding her head in a sweet, soft voice: "Mmm, thank you for your hard work, husband..."
Fu Linzheng fed her sago pudding, then fed her a dumpling. The little rabbit chewed slowly with her eyes closed. He looked at her, a doting smile spreading across his face: "How can you be so cute, baby? Do you sleep better or eat better?"
"Eating tastes good... and sleeping tastes good too..."
Rong Weiyue ate a few dumplings, then lost her appetite and was so sleepy that her eyelids were drooping. "Honey, thank you for making so much delicious food for me, but I'm not hungry now. I'm so sleepy. Can I go to sleep first? Please don't be angry..."
Fu Linzheng laughed: "Why would I be angry? If you're sleepy, you should go to sleep."
He cooked for her because he was afraid she would be too hungry to sleep. He carried her to wash up and helped her lie down. He took a shower, changed out of his pajamas, lay down again, and gently held her in his arms.
The little girl nuzzled her head against his neck and shoulder, murmuring dreamily, "Ah Zheng, I love you."
His heart softened, and he responded softly.
With those three words, he would do anything willingly.
The next day, Rong Weiyue woke up and saw the wound on his hand. She felt sorry and guilty, but Fu Linzheng didn't care at all. He just lingered and kissed her for a while, saying that this was just another badge of honor for loving his wife.
During his conversation with Fu Zecheng, he was also told that a pregnant woman's emotions are also related to the care she receives from her partner.
Indeed, under Fu Linzheng's patient care, Rong Weiyue was in good condition in the early stages of her pregnancy. She always thought she didn't have any major reactions, but it turned out that it wasn't that she didn't have any, but that it was just that the time hadn't come yet.
I started experiencing morning sickness in the third week after finding out I was pregnant.
I vomit in the morning, at noon, and at night. I vomit when I drink water, when I eat, and even when I smell something I don't like. I can't control it at all.
She was so exhausted by the little one in her belly that she couldn't go to the studio and could only stay at home. Fu Linzheng felt sorry for her and arranged the team and group affairs to spend as much time with her as possible.
The first week was a blur of feeling, and the second week was a little better, but I still vomited easily when I woke up in the morning.
She ran to the bathroom, and Fu Linzheng followed closely behind. He saw that her face was pale and her eyes were red like a little rabbit's.
"Yueyue..."
His brows furrowed as he stroked her back, his heart aching with distress.
"It's okay, you'll feel better after you throw up..."
Fu Linzheng handed her warm water and fed her to rinse her mouth. He then bent down to wipe the water from the corner of her mouth: "Are you feeling better? Shall I carry you back?"
She sniffed and nodded. Fu Linzheng carried her out in a princess carry and helped her sit on the bed: "Baby, you vomited because your blood sugar was too low. Would you like to eat something?"
She pouted, "I just want some lime juice, and could you get me a small piece of bread too..."
"good."
These past few days, Rong Weiyue hasn't liked any flavors except for green tangerines. The family bought a lot of green tangerines, and Fu Linzheng even sliced them and freeze-dried them, storing them in jars for future use.
Now we can't force her to eat nutritious food for the sake of the baby in her belly. Instead, let her eat whatever she wants. Being able to eat is the most important thing.
He went to the kitchen. The girl had finished washing up and calmed down a bit. She went out and stood on the scale. Fu Linzheng came over and saw her. His face darkened even more: "88 jin (44 catties)."
Hmm...
Fu Linzheng sighed, "Baby, I've wasted two years of raising you after we got married. You lost all the weight you gained during your two months of pregnancy."
He was heartbroken.
She hugged his neck and said softly, "It's okay, I'll gain the weight back later. Weight loss is normal in the early stages of pregnancy..."
Fu Linzheng carried her back to the bedroom, then turned around to get some bread. When he returned, he saw the little girl sitting with her knees drawn up to her chest, leaning against the headboard, her black hair cascading down her back, looking like a tiny little bundle.
She was never this tired, no matter how sick she was before.
He walked over, his Adam's apple bobbing: "Baby, come and eat something."
"Um……"
The man held her in his arms and fed her orange juice and bread. The little rabbit chewed very slowly and said she couldn't eat anymore after a few bites. Fu Linzheng didn't force her to eat more, in case she vomited it up and all the food she had eaten would be for nothing.
He placed the things on the bedside table, pulled her into his arms, looked down at her, and asked in a hoarse voice, "Are you feeling unwell?"
She rested her head on the crook of his neck and nodded. The man kissed her forehead and said in a deep, husky voice, "I regret it."
She looked up at him, "What do you regret?"
“I regret that we shouldn’t have had a child so soon. Your health wasn’t good to begin with, and you should have taken better care of yourself for a while longer.”
“We didn’t know that at the time, and morning sickness is something you can’t escape,” Rong Weiyue gently stroked her lower abdomen, her smile wide. “You can’t say that, or the little one will think we don’t welcome him.”
Fu Linzheng smiled, covered her hand with his large palm, and said softly, "My little darling, we've all been looking forward to your arrival, but you have to be good and not make your mother suffer anymore. She's already worked so hard."
Rong Weiyue sighed: "Actually, I'm also worried that I haven't eaten much these past few days and have been feeling drowsy all day. Do you think it will affect the baby's development?"
She touched her face. "I've got two pimples now. I never had any in high school..."
Fu Linzheng laughed: "So what if she has pimples? She's still very beautiful. It doesn't affect my wife's top-notch looks at all."
She pressed her lips down, "You're just all sweet talk..."
He said earnestly, "You were beautiful in your school uniform, beautiful in your wedding dress, and beautiful now. You have a different kind of beauty in every stage of your life. As long as it's you, I love you."
Fu Linzheng rubbed her belly and said, "It's normal to feel drowsy. Your body has to support two people right now, and the little one is growing slowly, so you'll feel tired."
Rong Weiyue nodded gently, and the man pulled her into his arms: "You don't need to worry about eating too little in the early stages of pregnancy. The little one has relatively low nutritional needs and can absorb nutrients directly from your blood. Eat as much as you can, and don't force yourself."
He gently touched her cheek, offering her the warmest words of comfort: "You come first. You'll always be more important than the baby. Take care of yourself first, okay?"
Fu Linzheng was her best mentor, and her restless heart was soothed. She nodded warmly, "It will be fine once this period is over."
The man's gentle kiss captured her breath, and she half-lay down. After a while, he stopped, his dark eyes fixed on her, and he said in a hoarse voice:
"You're so sweet, I want to kiss you all day long."
Her cheeks flushed, and his breath enveloped her again, gentle and lingering. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck.
After a long while, he finally stopped, his restlessness rising, and he breathlessly hugged her, saying, "We can't kiss anymore, or I'll want it again."
He hasn't touched her for weeks; he's never been this celibate since they got married.
Her ears turned red, and ants crawled all over her heart. She whispered, "I want it too..."
After being with him, her appetite gradually increased, and she loved doing the sweetest things with him.
Fu Linzheng's heart burned even more intensely. He leaned over and enveloped her again, using kisses to soothe the thirst in both of their hearts. He breathed heavily and whispered seductively, "Just bear with it a little longer. It will come after the first three months, okay?"
She buried her face in her hands, thought for a moment, and then pushed him away: "Then you're not allowed to hug me. Stay away from me. Let's keep our distance for now."
Fu Linzheng sneered and refused to let go, "We can't do it anyway, and you won't even let me hug you, are you trying to drive me crazy?"
She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, "Then isn't it very uncomfortable for you when you get an erection?"
His gaze fell on her red lips, his dark eyes were unfathomable, and he said lazily, "If all else fails, I'll have to ask you for help, baby."
She met his gaze, a blush rising to her cheeks: "Fu Linzheng, you...you've gone too far..."
He laughed, his voice hoarse, "Just kidding. How many times have I let you have your tongue around? You're in so much pain now, throwing up all the time, how could I bear to?"
Although Fu Linzheng is particularly wicked in this regard and has many bad tricks, he is the one who serves her. From high school to now, he has always taken the initiative to do things for her and enjoys it. He basically doesn't let her come, but sometimes when he is too crazy and can't control his interest, he will let her kiss him.
He was too terrifying, and her mouth was too small. Not wanting to make her uncomfortable, he would leave almost immediately, as her feelings were more important than his pleasure.
Once, the little girl, puzzled, couldn't help but ask, "Is it because I don't know how that you don't like it...?"
Fu Linzheng was about to explode. He bit her lip, put the hot dog into the bread, and gave her the most satisfying love. He sighed, "Baby, do you know how soft your nipple is? I don't need to teach you, you can rotate it and suck it so well. I want to have sex in less than two minutes. Is this what you call not liking me?"
She hugged him tightly, her face flushed. Fu Linzheng kissed her earlobe: "I was afraid you would be uncomfortable."
She blushed. Actually, Fu Linzheng was clean-shaven all over, and because he exercised regularly and ate a healthy diet, he was exceptionally clean and fresh. The only downside was that it contrasted so much with her small mouth...
Memories flooded back, her heart pounded, and she chuckled softly, "I thought you were serious."
Fu Linzheng pressed his palm against her waist and kissed her earlobe, saying wickedly, "Both sides of your mouth are too small, what should I do? It's difficult to swallow every time."
She bit her lip. "I'm used to it now. I can swallow Little Moon in one gulp..."
Fu Linzheng and she kissed passionately, their breaths ragged, his wickedness blatant: "Who cries every time they start swallowing? If I don't take a break, you'll be there in three minutes."
Thinking of the past, she buried her face in embarrassment, her heart itching, "You're not allowed to say that again..."
When asked about the wedding ring's journey to the deep sea, Fu Linzheng quipped, "I can't say anymore, baby, you've gotten like this."
This person...
Finally, she leaned against him, and the two of them calmed down. They snuggled together for a while, and the girl got a little sleepy, so Fu Linzheng told her to lie down and continue sleeping. He stayed by her side, handling official business while keeping her company.
Fortunately, after this period, her morning sickness gradually subsided, and she was able to eat light food. However, the kitchen remained a no-go zone; even the slightest smell of cooking oil would make her nauseous. Fu Linzheng told her to stay away from the kitchen, and that he and the housekeeper would help her with anything she needed.
Hu Hu seemed to have understood Fu Linzheng's instructions. It had been very well-behaved lately, not jumping around, and always quietly lying at Rong Weiyue's feet, occasionally reaching out its paw to gently pat her leg, as if it was concerned about her condition.
Sometimes when Rong Weiyue was tired and leaned back on the sofa, Hu Hu would curl up next to her, becoming her little hand warmer.
Her health improved gradually, and her complexion became better. Both sets of elders often came to visit her at home to chat with her and help her relax. She could also occasionally go to the studio to handle some light tasks.
Everyone in the studio knew she was pregnant and, fearing radiation in the workshop, wouldn't let her in. But everyone's work continued smoothly, and she was in charge of making final decisions on some major collaborative projects.
As for Fu Linzheng, he had a match in September, and because the young woman was pregnant, he told her to rest well and not to accompany him.
After a month of training before the competition, which took place close to the Mid-Autumn Festival, Fu Linzheng led the way from the preliminary rounds to the main competition. On the day of the main competition, he lived up to expectations and won the championship with his strong performance, which made the whole audience boil and the fans cheer excitedly.
In a post-match interview, when asked what he most wanted to do after the game, Fu Linzheng, wearing a baseball cap, smiled slightly and spoke in a nonchalant tone:
"Of course I'm going back to China to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival with my wife and baby."
The reporter exclaimed in surprise: "Baby?!"
Fu Linzheng raised an eyebrow and announced to the world in front of the camera:
"Yes, Yueyue is pregnant. I'll be a dad next year."
The atmosphere was enthusiastic; everyone knew how much Fu Linzheng loved his wife. Applause erupted from the press corps as everyone congratulated him. Someone jokingly asked:
"Mr. Fu, have you ever wondered whether this baby will be a boy or a girl?"
Fu Linzheng twirled his wedding ring, a slight smile playing on his lips: "Boy or girl, I like them both."
He paused for a moment, then added leisurely, "However, it's most likely a little princess."
Everyone offered their congratulations. After the interview, Fu Linzheng said goodbye to the convoy and returned to China first. Everyone knew he missed his wife dearly and understood.
A few hours later, the plane landed in Beijing.
On the evening of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Rong Weiyue had just finished having dinner with both sets of parents and then came to the studio to handle an urgent matter. Unexpectedly, she heard a low roar of an engine outside the window.
Turning my head, I saw a silver-black Pagani parked steadily at the door. The man got out of the car, carrying a bunch of ice cream cones in his arms. He was broad-shouldered and long-legged, with a handsome and upright appearance, and he walked in under the moonlight.
She paused for a moment, her amber eyes lit up, and she immediately got up and walked out of the studio, where she saw Fu Linzheng coming towards her.
She ran over quickly, and Fu Linzheng hugged her, his voice softening with tenderness, "Yueyue, Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, I'm back."
She hugged him, her almond-shaped eyes warm: "Why are you back? Didn't you just finish your competition...?"
The man smiled and put his arm around her, "Aren't you going to come back to admire the moon for the Mid-Autumn Festival?"
"But you can see the moon even from abroad."
Fu Linzheng smiled and embraced her, planting a kiss on her red lips: "This is my moon."
Rong Weiyue smiled, her heart pounding, and looked up at him: "Yes, it's a little moon that belongs only to you."
Ignoring the fact that they were outside, Fu Linzheng couldn't help but grab the back of her neck, pulling her into his arms, and leaning down to plant a passionate kiss on her.
Carrying the longing and love after a long journey, she hummed softly at the end, and he stopped: "Are you shy? We'll kiss you when we get home."
With a shy smile and her eyes sparkling, she took the flowers and led him into the studio. She also learned that he had won the race: "I thought you would celebrate abroad before coming back. I didn't expect you to abandon the team."
Fu Linzheng said lazily, "Celebrating victory is fine. Winning championships is normal for me. Besides, it's Mid-Autumn Festival for family reunions. My wife and baby are in China, how could I bear not to come back?"
Rong Weiyue smiled, "Now that you're back, everything is perfect."
She was wearing a light beige dress today. The hem swayed gently as she walked, and the slight roundness of her lower abdomen could be vaguely seen. Fu Linzheng noticed this and his heart was stirred: "It used to be flat, but now it's a little bulging."
“Yes, the little bean sprout is growing bigger and bigger. Feel it?” Rong Weiyue smiled.
Fu Linzheng leaned down and placed his palm on her lower abdomen. The warmth came through his fingertips, as if they were connected by blood. His heart beat faster and his breath trembled slightly.
He then gently kissed her belly and smiled, "Be good, grow slowly in Mommy's tummy."
After finishing his work, Fu Linzheng took Rong Weiyue home, carried her to take a shower, and lay her down on the bed. He gently applied pregnancy oil to her. Rong Weiyue was scrolling through her phone when she exclaimed in shock, "Fu Linzheng, we're trending on social media..."
The trending topics are Fu Linzheng's interview announcing Rong Weiyue's pregnancy, and photos of the two kissing in front of their studio being taken by passersby and posted online.
The comment section was buzzing with excitement:
[Wow, congratulations!! The baby is here! It's hard to imagine how beautiful this baby will be with these two such good-looking people!]
[The father is a world champion cyclist, and the mother is an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage. Who knows what talents the baby will inherit from his parents? He'll definitely be very smart!]
[Fu Linzheng publicly announced that Yueyue is pregnant, and she seems even happier than winning a championship, hahaha, double happiness!]
[My wife is more important than celebrating victory. I said I was going back to China and I really did. I'm tired of saying the Zhengyue CP is real!]
[You can see that Yueyue's belly is getting a little bigger. Yueyue needs to rest well, and we hope the baby will be born smoothly and healthily.]
Rong Weiyue blushed and showed it to him, but Fu Linzheng remained calm and suppressed his lip, saying, "I didn't even notice. Who knew they were showing off their affection in public again?"
Is that what you call not noticing?
"I didn't even know you had announced you were pregnant."
"Now that three months have passed, the baby is stable, and the outside world will find out sooner or later anyway. I've been holding back for long enough."
Fu Linzheng has always been high-profile, and it's not easy for him to have endured this long.
Rong Weiyue smiled and posted a photo of herself and Fu Linzheng eating mooncakes in front of the living room's French windows that evening, saying: "[Thank you for your blessings. Mr. Fu and I also wish everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival and a sweet reunion~]"
The comment section was instantly flooded with blessings. Finally, Rong Weiyue looked at Fu Linzheng and said, "Zheng, I hope our baby will be loved a lot from birth. I want to be a good mother so that he can grow up carefree and not like I did when I was a child."
Fu Linzheng pulled her into his arms, kissed her forehead, and said tenderly, "Of course, we will give him lots and lots of love. Similarly, the baby and I will love you very much, and you will have even more love."
As the little sprout in her belly grew bigger day by day, at three months, both families and Fu Linzheng accompanied Rong Weiyue for her first formal prenatal checkup.
The examination showed that Rong Weiyue's physical indicators were all normal. Although she was originally in poor health, her health has gradually improved in the past few years under Fu Linzheng's care. Now she has a rosy complexion, and even the doctor smiled and praised her for her good condition and the baby's good health.
Now the little one inside my belly is growing bigger and bigger, and can gradually hear the sounds outside.
When Rong Weiyue woke up in the morning, she saw Fu Linzheng carrying back a large box of books, covering all kinds of subjects, including science, art, and literature. She was surprised.
"Fu Linzheng, you're terrifying! Is our baby already going to start developing morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically, and practically all at once?"
Fu Linzheng said casually, "We can start prenatal education now. My mom said that when she was pregnant with me, she paid special attention to my prenatal education. No wonder I have such high EQ and IQ now."
"?"
Rong Weiyue smiled and said, "I think you should first teach your baby to be as thick-skinned as you are, so that he can be confident and strong. Wouldn't that be better?"
Fu Linzheng chuckled and patted her head: "What? You think our child will feel inferior after he's born? He'll be pampered from a young age. Not to mention us, both our parents must have spoiled him rotten. He'll have plenty of money and love."
Fu Linzheng took the books out of the box, and Rong Weiyue took them. She saw that they were "Musical Prenatal Education for Little Princesses", "Andersen's Fairy Tales", "Seeing the World with My Daughter", "Being the Most Beautiful Little Princess", and so on.
? ? ?
"Why are all of these for my daughter?"
Fu Linzheng: "My sixth sense is usually very accurate. There's a high probability that you're carrying a girl."
Rong Weiyue couldn't help but laugh, "Just because I've been craving spicy food lately?"
"This can be considered an important indicator."
"What if it's a boy? Then your prenatal education will be completely misguided."
Fu Linzheng picked up another large stack of books. "Am I, Fu Linzheng, such a careless person? Just in case, I also bought books for little boys, such as 'Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea,' 'Little Wild Detective,' 'How to Drive a Race Car in the Desert,' 'Introduction to Mechanical Principles Picture Book,' and 'A Real Man Standing Tall and Upright.'"
Goodness, for my daughter, it's all about fantastical fairy tales, while for my son, it's basically just making him a little wilderness detective...
She was both amused and exasperated: "Fu Linzheng, how can you be so biased?"
Fu Linzheng said seriously, "Whether it's a boy or a girl, they can read these books. Maybe my daughter will like racing, and my son will like fairy tales. Anyway, I'll let them read them all. Let them do whatever they want. As long as they grow up happily, that's all that matters."
Rong Weiyue met his gaze with a smile and agreed with his statement.
And so, Fu Linzheng began his "prenatal education career," taking picture books and storybooks and reading to the little one every night. As autumn turned to winter, the little one gradually grew in Rong Weiyue's belly, and the curve of her belly became more and more obvious.
Rong Weiyue is being well cared for now, and her appetite has improved; she eats more than usual.
This is a good thing. Now Fu Linzheng and the family chef and nutritionist are taking turns to prepare healthy meals for the little girl. Everyone is happy that she loves to eat.
Fu Linzheng never missed any of Rong Weiyue's physical examinations, always accompanying her and treating everything concerning her as his top priority.
In early November, one morning, Fu Linzheng and Sheng Liu accompanied Rong Weiyue to the hospital for a detailed anomaly scan. The results were all good. After leaving the hospital, Sheng Liu gave her a few words of advice about going to the Kunqu Opera house. Fu Linzheng softly asked Rong Weiyue:
"Little cat, do you want to come to the company with me? Stay in my office."
Rong Weiyue blinked, her eyes brightening: "Is it alright? Won't it disturb President Fu's work?"
Fu Linzheng smiled and put his arm around her: "What impact? You are welcome to come and give us your guidance anytime, Mrs. President."
So Fu Linzheng took her to the group. When they entered the building, the man was wearing a long gray trench coat, with deep and cold eyes. Rong Weiyue, whom he was holding, was wearing a custom-made light camel-colored knit sweater with a long skirt, a soft shawl draped over her shoulders, black hair and red lips, a slender figure, and a cat-like face that was still bright and charming.
Everyone was amazed; the man was handsome and the woman beautiful, and they were once again stunned by the top-notch looks of President Fu and his wife!
Since their marriage was made public, Rong Weiyue has occasionally visited the company. Everyone knows how much President Fu dotes on his wife, and the two are so loving that they are the envy of everyone.
As they ascended to the top floor of the building via a private elevator, the employees of the president's office greeted them excitedly. Rong Weiyue had also prepared hot drinks and desserts for everyone, much to their delight. They couldn't help but privately remark:
"The president's wife is so beautiful! She looks amazing even though she's pregnant, and she has such a great figure!"
"Waaaaah, she just handed me the cake with a smile, and my heart was struck. Even though I'm a girl, I'm completely smitten."
"Now I finally understand why Mr. Fu disappeared after the chairman introduced him to so many rich young ladies. Who can forget their first love?"
"President Fu's eyes were glued to his wife the whole time, he's such a treasure!"
Meanwhile, Fu Linzheng led the little girl into the office, made her a cup of hot jujube water, and took out the soft slippers prepared for her from the cabinet. He half-squatted down to help her change, and said softly:
"Baby, are you okay resting here by yourself? I'm going to a meeting. If you want anything to eat or drink, just text me. Don't be afraid to bother me, okay?"
"Okay, don't worry about me, go ahead and do your work."
She smiled and said, "The kitten will be good."
Fu Linzheng smiled and kissed her red lips. "I'm going."
The office door was closed gently.
When he came out again, Fu Linzheng had put on a serious expression.
He walked into the conference room, and everyone stood up to greet him. Fu Linzheng sat down in the main seat, twirled his wedding ring on his finger, and said in a low voice, "Sorry, I was just with my wife for a prenatal checkup, so I'm late."
Fu Linzheng is always very punctual, it's rare for him to be five minutes late, it must be because of his wife...
As the meeting began, Fu Linzheng was fully focused and engaged. After an efficient hour and a half, he glanced at the time and said in a relaxed tone, "That's all for now. Let's take a lunch break and continue this afternoon."
Everyone was starving, and one of the executives joked, "President Fu must be going back to take care of his wife."
Upon hearing this, Fu Linzheng's lips curled up, his smile full of affection: "Yes, I have to have dinner with her, otherwise she and the baby will throw a tantrum."
The meeting room erupted in laughter, with everyone exclaiming how sweet it was. Several executives followed Fu Linzheng to discuss some matters. When they returned to their office, they saw Rong Weiyue lying on the sofa, holding a book in her arms. Her long eyelashes covered her eyelids, and her long hair covered half of her cheeks, revealing her gentle, fair face.
The executives were taken aback. Fu Linzheng made a shushing gesture and said in a low voice, "Wait a minute, let me take care of my wife."
Then they saw the man, who was usually aloof, arrogant, and unapproachable, walk over and become as gentle as if he were a completely different person. He gently covered Rong Weiyue with a blanket, leaned down, and whispered soothingly:
"Baby, let me carry you inside to sleep for a while, okay?"
The little girl mumbled a response, and the man gently picked her up along with the blanket, handling her with the care of a precious treasure.
This is too much pampering...
He placed her on the bed inside, tucked her in, then came out and sat at his desk. His expression returned to normal, and his voice was indifferent: "Sorry, my wife is resting. Let's keep our voices down."
A dozen minutes later, Rong Weiyue woke up and found herself sleeping in the rest room.
She woke up early that morning, feeling a bit sleepy. She remembered Fu Linzheng carrying her in, so she immediately got out of bed barefoot, rubbed her eyes, and went outside, her voice soft and sweet: "Doggy, are you back? How long have I been asleep? Why didn't you wake me up..."
Outside, Fu Linzheng and his executives were finishing their conversation. He sat with his long legs crossed at his desk, his black shirt exuding an air of refined arrogance and untamed swagger.
Hearing the voice, he turned his head and saw Rong Weiyue. His solemn eyes softened: "Awake?"
He got up and walked over, looking down at her fair feet, his brow furrowing slightly: "Why aren't you wearing socks?"
Rong Weiyue only then noticed that there were other people in the office, and her cheeks immediately flushed: "I didn't notice..."
Everyone nodded and greeted her, and she responded shyly. Fu Linzheng picked her up and said to the executives, "Give me the detailed report by next Monday. You guys go have dinner too."
"Yes, Mr. Fu."
Fu Linzheng carried Rong Weiyue into the inner room, gently put socks on her, then carried her out again and sat her down at his desk. Rong Weiyue nestled in his arms, her ears turning red: "I didn't know you were discussing business with someone outside. You just walked right out here. I felt really bad..."
Fu Linzheng teased, "What are you embarrassed about? They saw me carry you inside; they already knew I was keeping a mistress."
She paused for a moment, her face turning even redder. After thinking it over, she decided to let it go. After all, they had a good relationship, and outsiders knew that.
Rong Weiyue blushed and leaned against him. Fu Linzheng asked, "Are you hungry? Have you eaten?"
She shook her head: "I just had a snack around 10 a.m., I'll eat it later. Besides, your office is full of my favorite foods, I just searched it all out."
Fu Linzheng raised an eyebrow: "This is my rabbit stockpile base. You need to come a few more times to help me finish them off, otherwise no one will eat them."
"You just want to lure me here."
Fu Linzheng held her waist, his voice low and seductive: "Of course, I want to carry you with me at all times, just like our marriage certificate."
She laughed and said, "You wish! If someone as lovely as me were to be carried around by you, wouldn't you be ecstatic every day?"
He smiled, his breath finding her as he pulled her into his arms. Their breaths mingled, growing stronger, and her lips curved into a blush. Her breathing became light and erratic as she murmured softly, "Fu Linzheng, let's go to the lounge, okay..."
He kissed the side of her neck. "Why?"
"I'm always afraid someone will come in..."
Fu Linzheng laughed, "Not private enough, is it?"
She responded softly, and his smile deepened: "Rong Weiyue, what do you want to do with me? Why do you need to be so private?"
"..."
Fu Linzheng pinned her to his desk, his veins bulging as he teased her, his dark eyes growing increasingly hot. Rong Weiyue bit her red lips and whispered sweetly in his ear, "Mr. Fu, aren't you going to have lunch? You've been busy all morning..."
What do you think I want to eat most right now?
Fu Linzheng's low, husky voice, accompanied by hot breath, grew increasingly heavy as it brushed against her ear: "I've realized that having you around really affects me; it makes me want to do it like crazy."
Her eyelashes fluttered, "Fu Linzheng, you..."
Fu Linzheng pulled her closer, looking at her porcelain-white face flushed with a light blush, his blood boiling, his voice hoarse:
"Baby, how about we try playing here in the office, for once?"
