Chapter 19

Chapter 19

Suddenly, a gust of cool wind blew in, and Jian Lu, who was already furious, could no longer suppress his anger. He turned around and yelled hysterically at the servants outside: "You are all dead. You can't see that the door is open."

But the next second, he met Lian Sixuan's eyes, and his face froze, with no time to hide it.

"Sixuan, why are you here? Why didn't you call in advance?" Jian Lu was stunned for a few seconds, then forced a smile and greeted him.

I was filled with resentment. Damn it, those servants must be tired of living. I would find an opportunity to kick them all out.

But right now, he must maintain his image in front of Lian Sixuan.

Lian Sixuan's face turned pale, full of disbelief, and he stared blankly at Jian Lu who had walked up to him.

In his impression, he has always been gentle and polite, even to the beggars on the street he was always kind and gentle. The scene just now completely refreshed his perception of him, and made him start to re-examine the person in front of him.

Jian Lu wrapped her arms around Lian Sixuan and felt his body tense up, her heart skipping a beat.

She burst into tears: "Sixuan, do you know how much pain I feel? You clearly promised to marry me, but the wedding date is approaching and you have not shown any interest in me. Do you know how scared I am?"

As he spoke, he squeezed his eyes hard and huge tears rolled down.

But the man remained unmoved.

There was no other way, so he had to rack his brains to keep thinking of a solution. Suddenly, an idea flashed in his mind, and he saw a four-open window not far away. The wind should have come from there just now.

"Sixuan, the marriage has been decided. If you don't keep your promise and marry me, then what's the point of me living?" After saying that, he loosened his hand that was wrapped around Lian Sixuan's arm and ran towards the window.

He stepped lightly onto the platform, put his hand on the window sill on one side, turned around and gave Lian Sixuan a sad smile.

"Goodbye, Sixuan. No one will force you anymore. I don't have to become someone I don't even recognize for someone who doesn't love me..."

One second, two seconds, he counted silently in his mind.

"Xiao Lu, it's my fault. I will make more time to accompany you in the future. Since the wedding date has been set, I will not break my promise. You are destined to be my wife, Lian Sixuan."

Lian Sixuan finally believed what he said, walked over and held his hand. Seeing him crying and looking aggrieved, the doubts in his heart instantly disappeared.

After dinner, Lian Sixuan wanted to go back to the company to continue working overtime. Although Jian Lu tried to persuade him to stay, he did not change his decision.

Jian Lu looked at his hurriedly leaving back, a bitter smile spreading from the corner of his mouth. He was stunned for a long time before he came back to his senses. His eyes swept across the windowsill where he had just performed the act.

He still couldn't help but gasp. He was really afraid that Lian Sixuan would not rush up, but fortunately, his plan was right.

"But, did he hear what I said on the phone just now?" Jian Lu murmured, a trace of panic flashing through his heart.
