Chapter 20
These two brothers of the Rong family really made him uneasy. Jian Lu cursed in his heart and hesitated for a while. Then he stood up and called all the servants in the villa over. If he didn't deal with them, there would really be a rebellion. Moreover, he had to confirm whether Lian Sixuan heard what he said.
After Lian Sixuan left, he did not return to the company, but went to the sanatorium where Rong Xi was temporarily staying. After a period of treatment, Rong Xi's condition had stabilized.
He originally wanted to wait for an opportunity to tell Rong Huan about this, but he didn't expect that the man couldn't wait and escaped from him.
A trace of blood spread in his mouth. Ever since Rong Huan left, he had been anxious and irritated, and bleeding gums had become a common occurrence.
He just glanced inside through the window a few times, and when he was sure that Rong Xi was okay, he felt inexplicably at peace in his heart, and he himself couldn't figure out why.
When he was leaving, the person in charge of guarding Rong Xi suddenly ran up to him and told him, "Boss Lian, I just got word that someone is asking for Mr. Rong Xi's address. I checked, and it seems to be Mr. Jian."
Lian Sixuan's calm eyes were instantly filled with surprise. He couldn't help but recall the tone of Jian Lu's voice when he mentioned to someone on the phone that he wanted to find Rong Xi's whereabouts. That didn't seem like the tone of someone who cared about someone.
"Since he wants to know, let him know. I want to see what he wants to do!" After saying each word clearly, Lian Sixuan fell into deep thought.
Jian Lu, I hope you won’t let me down!
It was quiet, without a sound, and pitch black with no end in sight. No matter how he called out, no one responded.
For half a month, Rong Huan repeatedly wandered in a dark and silent environment, and no matter how hard he tried, he could not find a way out.
He wanted to shout for help, but his throat seemed to be blocked by something.
No matter how hard he tried, his voice could not be conveyed. He wanted to reach out and grab something, but all he grabbed was emptiness.
He was so sad and felt so depressed. He wanted to cry, but he was depressed. Gradually, he gave up struggling and let the darkness and void swallow him.
…
Rong Huan didn't remember how long he had been wandering in the nightmare. When he woke up again, he saw a pure white scene. He could only remember that there was only one place with such decorations.
A gentle male voice suddenly rang in my ears: "Mr. Rong, are you awake?"
Rong Huan looked over and saw a man in a white coat and a mask. Only his eyes were visible. Those eyes were familiar and friendly to him, and they were smiling at him.
"Are you wondering where I am now? This is my residence. You might be wondering why it looks like a hospital. Maybe it's because I particularly like the color white, an occupational hazard."
As he spoke, he took off the mask that covered half of his face, pulled over a stool and sat in front of him.
Rong Huan stared at Fu Jing in front of him in a daze, slowly opened his mouth, and found that no sound came out of his throat. The latter obviously understood his situation and quickly raised his hand to stop him.
