Chapter 49

Chapter 49

Lian Sixuan didn't remember how he drove back to Sweden. The staff there had called him countless times. On the way, he finally answered one, but when he heard what the person on the line said,

He gripped the steering wheel tightly in an instant, then made a sharp turn and headed back towards Sweden.

The child’s ID card shows that he is three years old, which means he was born three years ago. He cannot be Fu Jing’s. So, that child is his and Rong Huan’s?

His mind raced, and he finally remembered some fragments of the child. The child had a pair of intelligent eyes, light brown hair, and slightly curled ends. He was not almost exactly like himself when he was a child.

After realizing how big a mistake he had made, Lian Sixuan's heart surged, a faint smile slipped from the corner of his mouth, and then began to spread across his face with irresistible force.

Soon, his facial expression showed something he had never seen before, with surprise, joy, and relief filling his entire face.

He did not go directly to knock on the door and ask, but secretly rented a house not far away. Every morning after Fu Jing went to work, he would find an opportunity to appear around the house, but the first person he met was not Rong Huan, but little Charlie.

"I remember you. You were the uncle at the art exhibition that day. Dad fainted when he saw you. Later, you came home and had a fight with dad. You are a bad person." The little guy became angry when he saw him, which made Lian Sixuan helpless.

But children are simple-minded after all. After he took the initiative to draw a sunflower for him, most of his hostility towards him was dispelled, and he excitedly went to find his father with the sunflower painting in his arms.

Rong Huan looked at the sunflower handed to him by the child, and something seemed to be popping out of his mind. For some unknown reason, he followed little Charlie and walked in front of Lian Sixuan. Looking at the strange man in front of him, he always felt a sense of familiarity.

Not far away, a car was coming at high speed. The man in the car had an evil look on his face. It was Jian Lu who had secretly run out and followed Lian Sixuan here.

When he heard that Lian Sixuan had been staying in Sweden, he guessed that he might have found Rong Huan, so he secretly bribed the servant who was responsible for delivering meals and escaped, and then came to find him.

"Rong Huan, Lian Sixuan, you want to stay together forever? You're dreaming. If I don't meet a good end, you will be buried with me." He cursed with distorted features, stepped on the accelerator and rushed towards the nearby area.

By the time Lian Sixuan heard the roar of the engine, it was too late. He could only quickly throw Rong Huan and little Charlie aside, and then stand in front of them alone.

With a squeak, the car stopped. Rong Huan looked over and saw that the person who was standing in front of him alive just now had fallen in a pool of blood. His head shuddered again. He couldn't bear the pain and fell to the ground. The only sound in his ears was little Charlie's screams.

When he woke up again, he saw a pure white scene, followed by Fu Jing's pleasant voice: "Xiao Yun, are you okay?"

Xiao Yun? No, he remembered, his name was Rong Huan. Without bothering to explain too much, he grabbed Fu Jing's hand and looked at him pleadingly: "Fu Jing, tell me, how is he?"

Familiar yet completely unfamiliar eyes, Fu Jing subconsciously took a small step back, staring blankly at the man in front of him, his lips trembling slightly: "Xiao Yun, you?"

"Fu Jing, please, please save him, save Si Xuan." Rong Huan knew how good Fu Jing was to him, but he couldn't escape anymore. He had just had a very long dream.

The dream contained his memories that had been blank for a long time, as well as every little detail of the past three years. But after waking up, his heart ached unbearably when he thought that the person he loved and hated might leave at any time. He knew that he could never let go.

"He's fine now. I'll do the operation myself. He should wake up in a while." Fu Jing slowly turned his face to the side. His eyes were wet where no one else could see.

After a while, he looked at Rong Huan again. His expression was much more relaxed than before. Yes, he still lost, but for some reason, he actually felt relieved at this moment.

After hearing his words, Rong Huan threw off the quilt, got out of bed and ran out. When he reached the door, he remembered the expression of Fu Jing that he almost missed just now. His face paused for a moment, but he moved his lips: "I'm sorry."

"Go ahead, he's next door to you." Fu Jing smiled bitterly, waved to him, and then said nothing more.

In the next ward, he sat beside the bed, his eyes fixed on the man lying on the bed, tears streaming down his face.

But suddenly, a pair of big hands slowly raised up and wiped away the tears on his cheeks one by one: "I will never let you cry again."
