"I thought the universe outside was a series of independent, individual universes, but it turns out to be just ordinary, pseudo-vacuum space, with a vast galaxy containing numerous planets and worlds."
Although you are not currently in a state of descent, your spirit can still encompass an area of thousands of light-years, allowing you to perceive many tiny worlds nearby, as well as some inhabited planets.
“That makes sense. Some worlds in the Yuantian Realm may have been captured from outside the universe.”
[A myriad of bizarre species, extraordinary individuals capable of flying and diving, and spaceships that have just entered space.]
You originally thought that beyond the universe lay endless void, within which floated countless spherical universes, expanding outwards.
[Or it could be a vast, heavy ocean, where a single drop of water is a microcosm, and a single wave is a miniature universe that appears and disappears in an instant.]
"They copied it again."
[But unexpectedly, it felt just like any other scene in the universe.]
Although you've never experienced what the environment inside space is like before, this is your first time venturing out.
You sense many worlds within thousands of light-years, including some humanoid races. Now that you've escaped your predicament, you're ready to explore and discover them.
Let's put cultivation on hold for now.
Let you enjoy life to the fullest first!
[“However, those worlds are too close to the universe of ‘Light Dust Source Soup.’ Look at the cosmic membrane behind you that is constantly approaching you at a speed of about twenty or thirty times the speed of light. In about six months, you will encounter a small world within 1,000 light-years. In a little over three years, you will encounter a nearby planet.”]
[You seized the puppet world you had created, and space shattered. In an instant, you were transported tens of light-years away. This was only because you were suppressing your speed; otherwise, you would have reached endless light-years away in that brief moment.]
A sense of curiosity arises within you: what would it be like if those worlds or planets came into contact with the cosmic barrier?
Was it simply swallowed up?
[You foresaw the future and casually dragged a life-bearing planet, several thousand kilometers in diameter, to the outer edge of the cosmic membrane, placing it quietly in front of the rapidly expanding membrane.]
Seconds later, it was smashed to pieces, along with the billions of intelligent beings on it.
【you:"……"】
[You've dragged another world into the past, a world with a real world wall.]
[In the end, it was still smashed to pieces; the world's walls shattered as easily as paper.]
[Logically speaking (based on your previous experiences), a planet would be directly destroyed by the cosmic membrane, and such a world should be absorbed and merged into the cosmic membrane, like a drop of water merging into the ocean!]
"Could it be that... one must be captured by the 'Light Dust Source Soup' universe or one of its worlds for those worlds outside that universe to possess a similar aura, thus allowing them to pass through the cosmic membrane intact?"
[You continue to examine the cosmic membrane and discover that it is indeed covered with a layer of fine particles, presumably debris from matter it has broken up over the years.]
"That's right. This should be a self-defense mechanism in the universe, prohibiting all illegal intrusion from external objects. Only those strong enough to penetrate it, or those infected by its aura and recognized by the world, can enter."
You ended this future and glanced at that planet and that small world.
The planet is inhabited by a type of life form resembling mushroom-shaped creatures, with relatively low intelligence, similar to common monkeys.
They reproduce through underground mycelial networks. Each mushroom, upon reaching adulthood, releases its own mycelium, which is injected into the earth to form a small reproductive cell, thus multiplying its offspring.
They can also reproduce together, with a group of mushroom-like beings jointly building a huge mycelial network, or it can be described as some kind of chaotic mass, with the final offspring being their shared children.
Some mycelia wither and turn into nutrients absorbed by the earth after producing a single mushroom-like creature, but others have already established themselves and can continuously and permanently produce more mushroom-like creatures.
[Because these mushroom people do not distinguish between male and female, or are hermaphroditic, applying human ethics to them is completely unreasonable.]
The mushroom people live happily and joyfully on that greenish-blue planet covered in mycelium; they experience virtually no worries or conflicts.
[Every day, besides running around on the ground, producing mycelium to reproduce, and playing tag with their kind, they take root in the earth and replenish the nutrients needed for life.]
But this group of carefree mushroom people will face death in six months.
They were unaware of their impending death; their technology and civilization were so rudimentary that they lacked the capacity to gaze at the stars.
[There's also that small world, about twenty million kilometers in size, inhabited by beetle-like intelligent life forms that can communicate with each other using the antennae on their heads.]
Unlike the mushroom people, these beetles have a relatively well-developed civilization, having produced a fairly advanced cultivation civilization—compared to the lower realms of the Yuantian Realm.
They live on a flat, round continent, where third-realm transcendents have emerged. Their combat power is absolute on that continent; they can destroy mountains and traverse the stars alone.
Currently, some beetle overlords from the third realm have breached the world barrier and are fleeing away from the cosmic membrane.
In space, their speed is increased to the limit of the real world, but that's only twice the speed of light, and they will be caught up with sooner or later.
The other three realm beetles remained in the world, determined to live and die with it and with their kin.
[Some high-ranking beetle members lead decadent lives; some passionate young beetles strive to find a way to save the world; some second-realm beetles diligently cultivate, hoping to reach the third realm as soon as possible and escape this world; and many ordinary beetle citizens remain unaware of the truth, continuing to live their ordinary yet fulfilling lives.]
Insects exhibit a myriad of forms, but this is all they are.
You shook your head. As a small reward for using them in your experiments in the future, you casually enveloped the planet and the world with your elemental energy.
The void shatters.
[In an instant, they were transported to a distance of millions of light-years.]
As for the numerous other planets within a radius of thousands of light-years, the world... you're kidding, you simply can't save them all!
Every single moment, countless trillions of worlds are being obliterated by the cosmic membrane. At most, you can only help those within your reach, or those with whom you have a slight connection.
