Chapter 910 From Chaos to the Primordial Era

The primordial universe can be divided into two points in time.

The first point in time is forty-eight time spans ago, when there was no primordial universe, only its predecessor—the chaotic universe!

Before the chaotic universe, this universe was actually quite similar to other universes, undergoing a major cycle every trillion years, constantly changing its cosmic form.

[Until one day the universe reaches its lifespan limit, a fusion explosion occurs, and the newly born universe is a chaotic universe.]

From the boundless breath of chaos, countless primordial chaos gods were nurtured, each symbolizing a different law or path.

These primordial chaotic gods fought from the very beginning of the chaotic universe until the end of the universe's lifespan trillions of years later.

They shattered the entire universe; any extraterrestrial immortals or even ancient gods who dared to get involved were torn to shreds by the aftershocks of the chaotic battle.

[Until the entire universe begins to shrink, entering its final billion-year limit, only three thousand Chaos Gods will remain in the chaotic universe.]

These three thousand individuals are all among the strongest, each a True Immortal of the 22 billion level or higher. Each possesses a unique manifestation of a Dao Principle that only they can hold, which prevents any of them from becoming a Unique Lord of the Universe.

Pan, Hong, Yuan, Luo… these three thousand top-tier demon gods of the universe knew they had to determine a victor in the final billion years, ensuring the perfection of one of their Dao principles; otherwise, they would all be buried with this chaotic universe!

Because these chaotic demons and gods, born at the beginning of the universe... are all beings governed by the laws of nature!

[There's only one exception: Hong!]

[In fact, the original Hong was also a being governed by the laws of nature. However, 120 billion years ago, all other beings except for the Chaos Gods had not yet become extinct, and many civilizations still existed.]

Even if those civilizations possessed true immortals, they could never match those beings bound by the laws of the Dao in a lifetime of struggle. At most, they could replicate tens of thousands of points of the Dao, which would be quite an achievement. They all lived in the shadow of the Chaos Gods, and the vast majority left this damned universe after becoming immortals.

"It means you've broken free from your family of origin."

However, one civilization, "Jun," decided to attack the Chaos God.

They are not a specific race or faction, but rather a collection of civilizations destroyed in the war between the Chaos Gods. The last inheritors and even refugees of those civilizations gathered together to form "Jun".

They selected the representative with the strongest will.

"If anyone can succeed, it's you!"

"Bearing our name 'Jun,' you will ultimately triumph!"

"Even true immortals can't defeat the Chaos Gods, so the only way for us to replace them and become them!"

"Only the Chaos God can defeat the Chaos God!"

"You must end this war between demons and gods, you must restore peace to the entire universe!"

Thus, "Jun" successfully merged with the Chaos Demon God "Hong" through deception, forcibly implanting his own flesh, blood, cells, and soul into the body of that pure Dao-principles being!

[Merger successful.]

However, initially after the fusion, the consciousness of the Chaos Demon God Hong held the upper hand, angrily annihilating the civilization "Jun," until later when that representative successfully seized power through various underhanded tactics.

[Thus, Hongjun, who was half-human and half-Taoist, was born.]

[However, although the Chaos Demon God possesses human characteristics, its core remains that of a being governed by the laws of the Dao. Once it leaves the Chaos Universe, it will lose the power of the laws of the Dao—but this is not a problem, for even after losing the power of the laws of the Dao, the human aspect still remains.]

[Hongjun could separate out a clone, allowing that clone to cultivate into an immortal, condense a Dao fruit, and become his true body. In this way, he could still escape the chaotic universe.]

But he didn't intend to do that, because he had a lofty ideal: to destroy these chaotic demons who were constantly fighting, and to restore a clear sky to the universe!

He threw himself into the war against the demons, refusing to even sacrifice a portion of his own body to save himself!

[They fought until only the last three thousand demon gods remained.]

These demon gods are evenly matched, with an inexhaustible supply of Dao source power within them. Sometimes, they can fight for hundreds of millions of years without a clear victor. In the final billion years, eliminating the other two thousand or so competitors... will still be very difficult.

Hongjun then devised a plan. He offered his unique Dao principles to Pan, but refused Pan's own unique Dao principles, stating that he was willing to assist Pan in becoming the ultimate being, and was content to remain beneath Pan.

This move earned the considerable trust of the not-so-bright "pan".

After all, when "Pan" was first created, the principles that constituted his entire being were based on brute force. Although they were gradually expanded to 22 billion later, the habit remained. He has never liked to use his brain to think, which is why he has extremely high combat intelligence.

Through brilliant strategic maneuvering, Hongjun helped "Pan" successively slay the other 2998 Chaos Demons.

When the diameter of the entire chaotic universe shrank to only one hundred trillion light-years, the third-to-last demon god, "Luo," also perished under Pan's axe.

At this point, all Pan needs to do is devour the last remaining Dao principles preserved by "Luo," and he will become the ruler of the chaotic universe, controlling everything!

He confidently replicated the Dao principles, exposing his back to Hongjun, whom he absolutely trusted and who would become the future supreme general under the Lord of the Universe.

[And Hongjun... replicated his previous possession technique!]

[The beings governed by the laws of nature are not truly living beings; they possess immense flaws. Given their similar strength, Hongjun truly succeeded!]
