Side Story: Time Traveler? Last God? Part 2

"So I lost from the very beginning." Reinhard's eyes were filled with dejection and resentment.

Although he and that mysterious man were not considered the same in the eyes of the Oxus, he knew that the importance he received could never surpass that of the other.

The living cannot surpass the dead, and besides... all that the man showed to the spirits before he died was pure goodwill.

His death was too perfect, so perfect that it was flawless!

The imprint he left on his girl's heart will only grow deeper with the passage of time!

...As for Reinhard, he frowned, feeling that the timing of that sinister man's appearance seemed somewhat coincidental.

However, now is not the time to delve into this issue.

We'll talk about that later.

In the distance, dusk is falling.

The Underworld, the Realm of Giants, the Realm of Elements... one world after another withered and perished.

That fiery beast, as fierce as the heavens, devoured everything in its path.

By tomorrow at the latest, the most powerful divine court in all realms will be destroyed!

Everything was scorched, and God perished.

The young war god clenched his fist, yet blood of various colors still flowed down.

He gazed at the distant sky, reflecting on the decision he had made before coming here.

And all those things I did.

He lowered his head, his gaze falling on the girl in his arms.

He once swore an oath to protect her for the rest of his life.

Perhaps what follows will not be protection, but harm.

But he wanted to be willful this once.

He changed so much for her, transforming himself step by step from a stubborn, war-loving man.

From etiquette to art, he has ventured into these previously uninteresting and completely unfamiliar fields with great depth.

On the battlefield, he is a god of war and a warrior; off the battlefield, he is also a powerful figure.

He was willing to make all sorts of changes for her, but at this moment, he wanted to face her with his true nature.

"I want you."

Reinhard leaned close to the girl's ear and whispered.

It was not a request as in the past, but rather an announcement.

Ao Xuling's delicate body trembled slightly, but she did not respond; she simply closed her sea-blue eyes.

Perhaps she had anticipated this moment?

She, too, had spent over 30,000 years trying to understand this strongest boy in the divine court in order to fall in love with him, so she saw it—behind the young war god's gentle demeanor lay a burning fire deep within his eyes.

The fire couldn't be hidden from her.

Reinhard beckoned to the outside of the attic, gathering the celestial clouds that had not yet vanished with the end, and condensing them into the softest bedding in the world.

This is the power of the divine authority of the clouds.

A gentle breeze swept by, lifting the girl's cascading hair and causing her blue dress to disappear silently.

That is the power of the wind god's authority.

She was like a flawless piece of jade, bathed in moonlight, which accentuated her fair and delicate skin; the dawn shone brightly on her ethereal face; and as night fell, her hair shimmered with a beautiful luster, like a dream.

This is the power of the moon, the sun, and the divine authority of the night.

A small crown, adorned with pearls, agates, crystals, diamonds, and divine jade beads, was exquisitely beautiful and worn on the head of a young girl.

Jewelry and divine authority.

...One after another, different divine powers were displayed in Reinhard's hands, as he was about to adorn her with the most expensive and beautiful makeup since the birth of all worlds!

Use the divine authority of the gods to embellish everything that follows.

He had wanted to do this for a long time, but he was troubled by the unknown wedding date and complicated interpersonal relationships.

Today, his wish came true.

"Can you open your eyes and look at me?"

Reinhard brushed a strand of hair from her forehead and asked softly.

She opened her eyes, and in them was an endless deep blue world.

Reinhard plummeted weightlessly into the deep blue ocean.

He rose and fell in the deep blue sea.

He was like a petrel in a prose poem, bravely battling the waves and fighting against the vast ocean.

The deep blue ocean appeared hazy and murky.

Is it because of him that I am confused, or is it because of his confusion that I am confused?

A heart-pounding pattern appeared behind the boy.

Theocracy—the last of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Theocracy—love.

Theocracy—the birth of all living beings.

Pink hue covered the girl's cheeks and quickly spread to her entire body.

She gritted her teeth and glared at him.

That's outrageous... Do we really need to invoke divine authority for something like this?!

But Reinhard wouldn't care about any of that.

He lived the rest of his life for her, but only at this moment, for himself.

Similarly, she had previously received his protection, but this was the only time she gave herself to him.

“Don’t grit your teeth,” Reinhard said. “I want to hear it.”

Ao Xuling closed her eyes; she was absolutely furious!

But he was a quasi-god king, while she was just a minor god.

Moreover, he invoked divine authority, so it's not her fault.

The softest sound is like the gentle murmur of a zither.

The only ones who truly feel aggrieved are those divine authorities, who are either mid-level gods or high-level gods... Even if they are controlled by quasi-god kings, they can't possibly affect the main god!

It's clearly your own idea...

—After dusk comes night.

The end was sweeping in the distance, yet here all was silent, except for…

"Oovespirit, my Oovespirit."

Reinhard kissed her forehead.

The divine power of life and healing shines brightly.

The divine authority of evolution and light swept over his entire body.

All that embarrassment and misery has been swept away.

Although Reinhard thought she was beautiful that way, she didn't like it.

The girl's dazed eyes gradually cleared, and her rapid breathing remained calm.

She moved slightly, then suddenly froze.
