Chapter 6 Frame Start



As night fell, rows of small boats with black awnings were quietly moored along the water's edge, their awnings adorned with soft gauze lanterns that emitted a warm, dim glow.

On the rocks along the shore, new moss or cracks quietly grow after the spring rain.

As the drizzle fell, swallows hurriedly skimmed across the water's surface, returning to their nests.

An old man wearing a straw raincoat was standing under the bridge, gripping the oar tightly with his calloused fingers.

As the spring rain gradually subsided, a cheerful suona horn suddenly rang out, and they all saw their childhood selves appearing before them with light and joyful steps.

When I was a child, I always looked forward to growing up quickly.

It wasn't until I grew up that I realized that childhood was the happiest time of my life.

Back then, they didn't have cell phones or video games.

But it has crickets in the fields and wild fruits on the trees.

There's something wrong with this song; it feels like I've truly been transported back to my peaceful childhood...

I miss those days so much, carefree in the moment, yet full of hope for the future.

My childhood playmate, whom I lost contact with after growing up, I wonder if he still remembers me.

Children gaze into the distance, adults yearn for their hometowns, and whose eyes well up with tears...?

I, who was once unmatched at skipping stones on water, never imagined that it would be the most glorious day of my life.
