The man let out a strange laugh, making the atmosphere in the secret room extremely eerie and terrifying. He held a syringe in his hand and walked step by step toward Han Shuzhen, his eyes fixed on her with unusual excitement.
Han Shuzhen felt as if she could no longer breathe; she screamed for help in terror.
"Help! Help..."
Unfortunately, in that confined space, her voice could not possibly be heard by the outside world.
Han Shuzhen's pupils dilated as she stared intently at the man, shaking her head repeatedly and muttering to herself.
"Don't come any closer! Get away! Get away!"
The man completely ignored Han Shuzhen and injected the unknown drug into her body in less than a minute.
Han Shuzhen felt as if her whole body was on fire. Her fair face turned bright red instantly, the veins on her temples bulged, and her whole body stiffened and hurt. Han Shuzhen struggled constantly, letting out painful screams. She felt like she was about to die.
She was in excruciating pain, as if burned by fire, and managed to utter a few words.
"Please, kill me, kill me... I can't take it anymore!"
The pain Han Shuzhen endured was unimaginable; the pain was so intense that she only wanted to die.
The man seemed heartless, watching Han Shuzhen suffer for nearly half an hour without doing anything. He glanced at his watch, as if he thought the time was right, and then injected another dose of medicine into Han Shuzhen's body.
This medicine was like an antidote for Han Shuzhen, making her feel like a savior as she was on the verge of death. The burning sensation gradually disappeared, and her whole body gradually became comfortable.
Han Shuzhen lay on the operating table like a dead fish, as if all her strength had been drained away. Her whole body was soaked in sweat, and her eyes were dull and empty, as if she didn't know where she was.
The man chuckled, seemingly quite pleased with his actions.
"It's done!"
The man was very happy.
"After taking these two doses of medicine, it will be easier for your body to shed again, and it won't damage your skin."
He excitedly began preparing to draw blood. Only after the blood was completely drained could the skin be peeled off. After preparing all the necessary blood-drawing equipment, he stared at Han Shuzhen with a sinister look.

While Xiao Ran and Xiao Yiqing were having dinner that evening, Song Shaojie led two well-trained experts to sneak into the Xiao family's backyard. Following the route they had taken during the day, Song Shaojie headed straight for the target room.
Upon arriving at their destination, Song Shaojie discovered that the door to the room where Han Shuzhen was being held was no longer guarded by bodyguards. Upon closer inspection, he saw that the door was still locked, and he knew that Han Shuzhen was still being held inside.
Song Shaojie gave an attack signal to his two companions behind him, and the three of them quickly moved forward.
Song Shaojie felt the lock on the doorknob, took out the wire he had prepared from his pocket, and a smile involuntarily crept onto his lips. He lowered his voice and called out into the room.
"Han Shuzhen, don't be afraid, Youyou sent me to rescue you! I'll unlock the door and get you out right away."
Song Shaojie unlocked the door in no time, his smile widening. This was too easy! There was no way to stop him!
Song Shaojie pushed open the door and saw a woman's back. Thinking it was Han Shuzhen, he went up to her without thinking, grabbed her arm, and said...
"Han Shuzhen, I'm so glad you're alright! Come with me now!"
"Where shall I go with you?"
"Of course, we should leave here. I'll take you to a safe place!"
"Yeah?"
The woman slowly turned around, her sharp eyes staring directly at Song Shaojie.
Song Shaojie turned around and saw her too. Their eyes met, and Song Shaojie's pupils dilated in fright. He jumped up in shock, quickly throwing away Xiao Yiqing's arm and throwing himself into the arms of his two companions behind him. He was terrified.
"Xiao Yiqing, what are you doing here?"
The two companions instinctively caught Song Shaojie and also saw Xiao Yiqing. The two looked at each other, stunned.
Seeing this, Xiao Yiqing frowned slightly. She was somewhat angry at Song Shaojie's reaction.
"Song Shaojie, you came to the Xiao family today, why didn't you come to see me?"
Song Shaojie looked at Xiao Yiqing awkwardly, stammering incoherently.
"I...I...I'm here to save people!"
Since things had come to this point, Song Shaojie simply admitted it directly, proving that a real man should be willing to take responsibility for his actions!
"Oh? You're here to rescue someone, is it to save Han Shuzhen?"
"Yes, where did you hide her? Release her right now!"
"Ha ha ha ha......"
Xiao Yiqing couldn't help but burst into laughter, then a gloomy look appeared on his face.
"Shaojie, don't you miss me at all? I'm your fiancée. You went back to Kyoto and didn't even come to see me. We just met, and you're already going against me for someone unrelated?"
Song Shaojie's lips twitched. He had always been averse to the idea that Xiao Yiqing was his fiancée. It was an arranged marriage between his mother and her mother when he was a child. Actually, he didn't dislike her when he was young. But as he grew up, he gradually developed his own thoughts.
