Chapter 117 Escape

He Qiangwei knew that it would be extremely difficult for Song Shaojie to rescue Han Shuzhen from the Xiao family in Kyoto tonight.

Whenever she thought about how Han Shuzhen humiliated her at school, she wished the Xiao family would kill Han Shuzhen to relieve her hatred.

Having just transferred 500,000 yuan to Wang Qiufeng, he felt a tightness in his chest and had nowhere to vent his anger, so he directed all his hatred at Han Shuzhen and Wu Youyou.

Meanwhile, Wu Youyou sat quietly in a rocking chair in her villa, her expression very solemn. She was very worried about Han Shuzhen's safety, but she couldn't call Song Shaojie now, for fear of ruining his plans.

All she can do now is wait, but every minute of waiting is endless torment.

Han Shuzhen was getting closer and closer to death. The man holding the scalpel looked at Han Shuzhen, who had already closed her eyes, and wondered where to start with such good skin so as not to damage the skin too much.

He was carefully examining every inch of Han Shuzhen's skin when he suddenly noticed the red marks on her wrists and ankles from the ropes binding her. He felt a pang of heartache, thinking that her appearance was no longer perfect. He then placed the scalpel beside Han Shuzhen and began to untie the ropes binding her one by one.

When Han Shuzhen's hands were freed, her strong will to survive made her realize that the ropes binding her were gone. She opened her eyes with difficulty and saw the man untying the ropes on her ankles. Her hand moved slightly and touched the cold scalpel.

Han Shuzhen's eyes followed the spot her left hand touched and she spotted the scalpel. Her mind raced; this might be her only hope of survival.

Just as the man was about to untie the rope on Han Shuzhen's last foot, Han Shuzhen mustered all her strength, quickly grabbed the scalpel, sat up abruptly, and with a 'sizzle', blood splattered all over Han Shuzhen's face.

The man had a deep, long gash on his neck. He stared at Han Shuzhen in disbelief, his pupils wide, before collapsing to the ground, dead beyond any doubt.

Because of her extremely fast speed, Han Shuzhen accidentally gripped part of the blade in her hand while holding the scalpel. Due to excessive force, her palm was also cut with a deep wound by the scalpel.

Blood was flowing freely...

Han Shuzhen felt no pain at all. She quickly pulled out the tube inserted into her arm, got out of bed, and wanted to leave.

Before she could take more than a few steps, her body went limp and she collapsed to the ground. Looking at the blood bag filled with her own blood, she knew that she had probably lost too much blood. The two unknown medications had pushed her body to the brink of collapse.

She knew she couldn't stay there and had to leave as soon as possible, or she would face certain death.

She mustered her last breath, stood up, and opened the door.

The two men led by Song Shaojie were indeed professionally trained. Xiao Yiqing's six bodyguards were no match for them and were quickly put on the defensive, all lying on the ground unable to move.

Xiao Yiqing looked at Song Shaojie with surprise and praised him.

"Truly worthy of being from a family of martial arts masters!"

Song Shaojie scoffed.

"You think your shrimp soldiers and crab generals can stop me? Dream on!"

Xiao Yiqing shrugged indifferently.

"It seems I can't keep you here tonight. Han Shuzhen has been hidden by Father, and you won't be able to find her at all!"

"Hmph, I can't find it, but you can!"

Song Shaojie quickly stepped forward and subdued Xiao Yiqing. A dagger was held against her pale neck, and he whispered something in her ear.

"If I were to exchange my life for his, would Uncle Xiao release him?"

"You dare treat me like this? Aren't you afraid I'll make you pay for this later?"

"I'm so scared... If I'm afraid of you, I don't deserve to be a member of the Song family! Hurry up and get going, stop talking nonsense!"

Xiao Yiqing was led out of the house by Song Shaojie and walked towards the front yard.

Along the way, Xiao Yiqing's smile grew wider and wider. She actually enjoyed being so close to Song Shaojie. She wasn't afraid that Song Shaojie would kill her at all, because she understood him.

The two experts walking beside him were also bewildered when they saw Xiao Yiqing's expression. They had been kidnapped, yet he could still smile so... happily!

Suddenly, a pebble nearly tripped Xiao Yiqing. Startled, Song Shaojie quickly dropped the dagger in his hand and wrapped his arms around her waist to support her.

Xiao Yiqing's heart pounded. Being held by Song Shaojie felt so blissful. She slowly bent down, picked up the dagger from the ground, and placed it back in Song Shaojie's hand. Then, she helped him reposition himself in the position he had just used to kidnap her, and said softly,

"Brother Shaojie, hold on tight, don't drop it, let's go!"

Song Shaojie was not quite there yet; he didn't understand what Xiao Yiqing was up to.

"Xiao Yiqing, are you sick? If you are, go see a doctor!"

"Wow, I love how Shaojie scolds me!"

Song Shaojie's two companions couldn't bear to watch any longer and turned their heads away.

One of the companions happened to see Han Shuzhen and wondered if she was the person he was looking for, so he asked Song Shaojie.

"Young Master Song, are those people coming from over there the ones we're looking for?"

Song Shaojie turned his head and saw Han Shuzhen walking over. Under the light, she looked so disheveled, covered in blood, her skin frighteningly white, and she crawled forward lightly.
