Everyone was stunned for a moment. He Qiangwei heard these words at the door of the room and instantly became furious.
Wu Youyou sneered and said to Wei Zhibin,
"It's not me who wants to see you, it's my father who wants to talk to you!"
Wu Youyou handed the phone directly to Wu Zhenyuan, her eyes fixed on him.
"Didn't you want to get justice for Wei Qiangwei? I'll help you!"
Wu Zhenyuan's face turned ashen. He never expected Wu Youyou to be so bold as to put him in such an awkward situation. However, he had no choice but to answer the phone, so he reluctantly took Wu Youyou's phone.
Wu Zhenyuan spoke to Wei Zhibin in a very amiable tone.
"Zhibin, it's nothing serious, but Qiangwei seemed a bit unhappy after she got home today. I asked her, but she wouldn't say anything and even locked herself in her room. I just wanted to ask, do you know why?"
Wei Zhibin then realized that Wu Zhenyuan thought he had bullied his precious daughter. Wei Zhibin's light chuckle made Wu Zhenyuan feel embarrassed, and he quickly explained.
"Don't get me wrong, I just want you to try and persuade Qiangwei to come out and eat!"
Wei Zhibin thought to himself, "What do they take me for? It's infuriating!" But tonight he just wanted to vent, and Wu Zhenyuan was giving him the chance.
"Okay, I'll call her right now!"
He Qiangwei nervously picked up her phone from behind the door. A moment later, the call came in, and she answered it excitedly.
"Hello!"
"Honey, what's wrong?"
"I'm fine. It's just that Shi Zhan came over and he and Youyou were showing off their affection. I was just jealous, wasn't I?"
Wei Zhibin understood He Qiangwei's thoughts, and then said,
"That brat Shi Zhan, how can he compare to me? You wait for me at home, I'll come pick you up in a bit!"
He Qiangwei was overjoyed. She found a dress she particularly liked in the wardrobe and came out. Wu Zhenyuan saw it and went up to ask her what it was.
Are you going out?
"Yes, Zhibin is coming to pick me up later!"
Song Lan stepped forward and asked somewhat nervously,
What time will you be back?
He Qiangwei's voice was somewhat cold.
"I'm not coming back!"
"How can this be allowed? You're a young lady, how can you stay out all night? It's outrageous!"
Song Lan was anxious, but also a little angry. He Qiangwei frowned slightly and looked at Song Lan with a sneer.
"You're not my biological mother, you have no right to tell me what to do. Besides, I'm already Zhibin's woman, I'm his fiancée, the young mistress of the Wei family!"
Wu Zhenyuan stepped forward and quickly tried to dissuade him.
"Rose, don't be angry. Your aunt was just worried about you, she didn't mean anything by it!"
Wu Youyou was thinking about her plan to expose the scandal first thing tomorrow morning. Then Wei Zhibin would be finished. With He Qiangwei by his side, the effect should be excellent. She stepped forward and said a few words.
"Mom, some people are so eager to get involved that you can't stop them. Your daughter is right here, but who knows where she came from? Don't worry about the wrong person!"
He Qiangwei angrily rebuked Wu Youyou.
"Wu Youyou, you need to have evidence for your words. Stop making baseless accusations. If it weren't for your mother, would I have had such a miserable life with my mother back then?"
Upon hearing that this matter was ultimately going to be brought up, Song Lan felt a surge of guilt and nearly fainted, but Wu Youyou caught her in time.
"Mom, are you alright? This has nothing to do with you. You didn't know anything about these things at the time. Don't take the blame for other people's mistakes!"
Seeing Song Lan nearly faint from anger at He Qiangwei, and hearing what Wu Youyou had said, Wu Zhenyuan felt uneasy. He sharply rebuked Wu Youyou.
"You've really grown wings now, what kind of things are you saying? Your mother and I are sorry for Qiangwei and her daughter. She has suffered so much since she was a child, can't you be more considerate of her?"
"Give in to her?"
Wu Youyou found it amusing. Why should she give in to her? She would ruin her and cause her whole family to die tragically. Why should she give in to her? If it weren't for the mistakes her father made back then, none of this would have happened.
Wu Youyou couldn't tell them these things; she had to wait, which was only a day. But who can't argue?
Wu Youyou's eyes widened, sparks flying from them.
"Dad, she says your daughter is your daughter, why don't you do a paternity test? Who knows who her mother had the child with? Her gene of sleeping with a man on the first date might just be inherited from her mother!"
He had barely finished speaking when He Qiangwei slapped him hard across the face.
"Serves you right for being so foul-mouthed, insulting my mother. And your mother is a homewrecker, interfering in other people's relationships. That's shameless!"
Caught off guard, Wu Youyou was slapped by He Qiangwei. No longer holding back, she immediately reached out and grabbed the other woman's hair.
"oops--"
He Qiangwei winced in pain, but she didn't back down. She reached out and grabbed Wu Youyou's hair, and the two of them started fighting.
Song Lan stood aside and hurriedly tried to mediate the fight.
"Stop fighting! Stop it! Stop it!"
Wu Zhenyuan was both anxious and angry, burning with rage, and roared at the two of them.
"All of you, let go of me!"
Wu Youyou and He Qiangwei seemed not to hear anything and continued to fight fiercely. Several strands of He Qiangwei's wig were torn off by Wu Youyou, which made Wu Zhenyuan feel distressed. He rushed over to try to pull the two of them apart.
"All of you, shut up!"
Wu Zhenyuan finally managed to separate the two women, but they seemed ready to fight again. He was so angry that he trembled and, for some reason, reached out and slapped each of them across the face.
