In the study, Wei Ziyao made Old Master Shi laugh heartily. Seeing how much he liked the calligraphy and painting she had given him, she felt much more at ease. This way, her request would be fulfilled.
"Grandpa Shi, may I stay at the Shi family's house for a few days recently?"
Old Master Shi paused for a moment, then understood Wei Ziyao's meaning and immediately smiled.
"Sure, no problem. You can stay as long as you want, as long as your father is willing to let you stay! Go back and pack tonight, and move in tomorrow!"
Wei Ziyao pouted, her brows furrowing with displeasure at the thought of her father's headache caused by her brother.
“My father doesn’t care about me at all now. After what happened to my brother, I don’t want to see him at all!”
Seeing Wei Zi's angry expression, Old Master Shi offered words of comfort.
"Ziyao, don't be sad. I know your brother's character best. It's just that it's been exposed now. He should bear the consequences of his mistakes. You are you, don't let your brother affect you!"
Wei Ziyao wiped away her tears, looking utterly pitiful.
"Grandpa Shi, it's so good to have you!"
Shi Chenyan watched Wei Ziyao with great delight.
"Ziyao, you and Shizhan are both top students at Peking University. Now that you're in the same school, you can look after each other, which makes me feel more at ease!"

Wu Youyou was fully prepared and did not have any psychological change because of Wei Ziyao's appearance. She sat calmly on the sofa, chatting and laughing with Shi Xingyue, without looking directly at Wei Ziyao.
Wei Ziyao walked up to Shi Zhan and greeted him warmly.
"Brother Shi Zhan, I came to see Grandpa Shi today and gave him an authentic calligraphy work by Tang Bohu. He was very happy!"
Shi Zhan stared intently at Wei Ziyao, trying to glean some clue from her expression.
"Thank you so much! I brought my girlfriend with me today so she could meet Grandpa!"
Girlfriend? Wei Ziyao almost gave herself away. She couldn't let Shi Zhan find out about how she framed Wu Youyou yesterday, so she couldn't show any dislike for Wu Youyou right now.
Shi Zhan didn't look away, but kept his eyes fixed on her. He saw Wei Ziyao greet Wu Youyou and say...
"Youyou, what a coincidence to see you here! When you meet Grandpa Shi later, don't be nervous. Grandpa Shi is a very nice and kind person. You'll like him!"
At first glance, there seemed to be no problem with these words, but coming from Wei Ziyao's mouth, it wasn't so simple. Wu Youyou understood that this was her way of showing off, boasting about how much Grandpa Shi doted on her.
Wu Youyou expressed her gratitude to Wei Ziyao with a gentle expression.
"Thank you, Shi Zhan told me everything, the old man is a very nice person!"
After speaking, Wu Youyou looked tenderly at Shi Zhan.
Wei Ziyao suppressed her smile, feeling that she had to leave first, otherwise she would easily expose her true nature. So she bid farewell to everyone. "Come in and sit down, don't be shy!"
