After the dinner party ended, Wu Youyou's phone suddenly rang.
She answered the phone, and a chaotic noise filled her ears. Then Wu Maoyan's anxious voice pierced through, "At the hospital, quick!"
The phone call ended with a beep, but Wu Maoyan's voice still echoed in Wu Youyou's mind.
She suddenly stood up and said to Shi Zhan in a panic, "Shi Zhan, something bad has happened! Shuzhen might be in trouble!"
Song Shaojie and Shi Zhan exchanged a glance; it seemed they hadn't managed to hide it from the Xiao family after all.
Shi Zhan frowned slightly and immediately ordered the Flying Eagle organization's personnel stationed at the hospital to take action to rescue Han Shuzhen.
Song Shaojie quickly drove his luxury car, taking everyone to the hospital.
Meanwhile, led by Wu Maoyan, Han Shuzhen evaded wave after wave of pursuers and they were now hiding in an empty ward in the hospital.
A seemingly insane voice came from outside the door.
"Damn it, you guys are all useless! You got the duck in your hands, and some brat managed to snatch it away! If we don't catch Han Shuzhen today, we're all in deep trouble!"
"Yes, boss!"
Two groups of people moved through the hospital corridor. One group, dressed in light blue uniforms, searched each ward aggressively.
The other group, dressed in casual clothes with stern expressions, avoided anyone wearing light blue clothing.
These two groups seemed to know each other in the eyes of the Flying Eagle organization, but the Flying Eagle organization was not clear why there were two forces.
Wu Maoyan looked at the nervous Han Shuzhen and gestured for her to be quiet. He felt that this room would be searched sooner or later, and rather than waiting to die, he might as well risk going out and finding another hiding place.
He took Han Shuzhen from the ward and moved her to a medical supplies warehouse to hide her.
However, they were eventually discovered by members of the Pale Blue Organization.
The leader glared fiercely at Wu Maoyan, "Kid, I think you're tired of living, daring to meddle in other people's business!"
Despite trembling inside at his threat, Wu Maoyan knew he couldn't back down because Han Shuzhen was behind him. So he mustered his courage and asked, "Who are you? Why did you arrest her?"
The leader replied, "Kid, if you know what's good for you, get out of the way, or we'll take care of you too!"
"Unless I die, don't even think about making me back down!" Wu Maoyan's eyes gleamed with unwavering courage and determination.
Standing behind him, Han Shuzhen looked at him with emotion, tears silently streaming down her face.
The leader burst into laughter, mocking, "You little brat, you won't learn your lesson until you're faced with death!"
He waved his hand, and two of his men immediately rushed forward.
Although Wu Maoyan had studied Taekwondo, his efforts seemed insignificant when facing a professional killer.
No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't touch the other person's clothes; instead, he was relentlessly kicked and shoved.
"Push harder, this kid looks pretty tough!" the leader said mockingly.
Wu Maoyan roared loudly, as if venting his masculine pride.
This roar unexpectedly attracted the attention of the plainclothes organization that was searching nearby, and they all gathered towards the warehouse.
Han Shuzhen pleaded in anguish, "Stop hitting me! I beg you, please stop! I'll go with you!"
However, his subordinates, without orders from their leader, continued to attack Wu Maoyan relentlessly.
He was beaten until his eyes, nose, and mouth were crooked, and he lay on the ground unable to get up, spitting out blood and foam, his whole body swaying precariously.
His eyes were bloodshot as he stared at the leader. Those eyes seemed to warn him that if they dared to take Han Shuzhen away, he would haunt them even as a ghost.
At this moment, the leader pulled out a dagger and beckoned to Han Shuzhen.
Wu Maoyan tried in terror to get up again, muttering, "No! Don't go!"
Han Shuzhen looked at Wu Maoyan, her eyes filled with reluctance and love.
She gently wiped away the tears on her cheeks and said softly, "Maoyan, thank you for always being there for me. I'm already very content."
After saying that, she turned and walked towards the person in the lead.
Just as they were about to turn and leave, Wu Maoyan suddenly stood up with a burst of strength, lunged at Han Shuzhen, and tried to pull her back to his side.
However, the leader frowned, looking quite annoyed.
Wu Maoyan was suddenly attacked and stabbed in the chest with a dagger.
He stood there, stunned, his eyes still filled with longing for Han Shuzhen, before slowly collapsing.
Han Shuzhen stared in shock as the leader ruthlessly plunged a cold dagger into Wu Maoyan's chest. She was completely terrified.
Then, she screamed and struggled to break free from the person holding her. She rushed towards Wu Maoyan, wanting to see him, but unfortunately, before she could reach him, she was knocked unconscious from behind by someone hitting her on the neck.
As Han Shuzhen fainted, her pupils looked at Wu Maoyan with resentment, and she murmured, "Maoyan, I love you!"
The leader looked at Han Shuzhen, who had already fainted, shook his wrist, and muttered with dissatisfaction, "Women, what a nuisance."
Then he ordered his men to take Han Shuzhen away.
Just as they were about to leave the warehouse, a group of plainclothes officers suddenly appeared.
Before the leader in light blue could speak, the other party charged towards them.
Without any further words, the two sides immediately launched into a fierce struggle.
Seeing that the other party was hostile, the leader of the light blue organization drew his dagger without hesitation. With fluid and swift movements, he quickly defeated several opponents.
The plainclothes leader, not to be outdone, also drew his dagger and engaged him in a fierce exchange.
