Not long after, Zhai Ming finished interviewing this batch of actors. During the break, he walked towards Wu Youyou with a smile and said, "President Wu, I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting! Come on, sit over there!" He pointed to the rest area on the left.
Wu Youyou responded softly and followed Zhai Ming toward the rest area, with Yang Min following closely behind, while also signaling Wu Qifeng to follow.

“Yes, I invited Yang Manman and Zeng Xingchen to come and audition for the male and female lead roles.” Zhai Ming nodded.

Yang Manman is a top-tier female star. If she were to play the lead role, wouldn't my chances be very slim?
Her mood immediately plummeted.
In contrast, Wu Qifeng didn't care much about the casting of the male lead. He didn't come here specifically to play the male lead, but he knew Zeng Xingchen and thought his acting skills were somewhat lacking.

Just then, Director Zhai's phone rang. He said apologetically, "It's Yang Manman calling. I guess they've all arrived!"
"That's perfect, let's audition together!" Wu Youyou said casually.
Zhai Ming understood what she meant, so he got up to go and greet the person.

"Yes, little sister, why did you cast me as the male lead?" Wu Qifeng seized the opportunity to ask his question, "And why does he call you President Wu?"
