Upon seeing He Qiangwei, Liu Xiaolan felt a surge of anger.
"Was it a deliberate tactic to lure me there so that Xiao Yiqing could humiliate me?"
"Xiao Yiqing...who is Xiao Yiqing? Xiao Lan, I don't understand what you're talking about at all. Did this Xiao Yiqing make things difficult for you after I left?"
He Qiangwei's acting skills almost fooled Liu Xiaolan, but she couldn't fool Wu Youyou.
Wu Youyou pulled Liu Xiaolan past He Qiangwei, then said coldly,
"You and Wei Ziyao have a good relationship, right?"
He Qiangwei's body trembled, and a cold glint flashed in her eyes.
"Who is Wei Ziyao? I don't know her. What's wrong with you all today?"
After Wu Youyou and the others returned, Shi Xingyue noticed that there was something off about the atmosphere between them and Sun Ting. She didn't say anything, but just watched them silently.
Wu Youyou helped Liu Xiaolan sit down on the edge of the bed before looking directly at He Qiangwei, her gaze filled with inquiry.
Are you sure you don't know Wei Ziyao?
He Qiangwei must be thinking to herself, "Has Wu Youyou discovered something?"
Ultimately, feeling guilty, she confessed.
"Oh, I remember now, you're talking about Wei Ziyao. I do know her, what's up?"
"Nothing, I'm just curious, what's your relationship with her?"
"Friends? What's wrong with that?"
He Qiangwei answered quickly, afraid that Wu Youyou would notice something, and Wu Youyou didn't press further, but just smiled.
"It's nothing, I'm just curious."
