Chapter 36 Dancing

Zhang Huihui looked at He Qiangwei, still holding the sulfuric acid in her arms. She lifted her buttocks and moved to He Qiangwei's side, whispering in her ear.

"Rose, what brings you here? I thought you weren't coming."

He Qiangwei also whispered in her ear,

"I just want to see just how much brilliance this young lady, Wu Youyou, can bring."

Although Zhang Huihui couldn't see He Qiangwei's face through the mask, she knew that He Qiangwei definitely didn't just want to attend Wu Youyou's birthday party. As for her real motives, Zhang Huihui didn't care at all.

She knew that both He Qiangwei and she disliked Wu Youyou.

"I don't care why you're here, I'm here to cause her trouble!"

After Zhang Huihui finished speaking, she gestured with her eyes to the bottle in her arms.

He Qiangwei knew that Zhang Huihui was attending Wu Youyou's birthday party because she was there to cause trouble for Wu Youyou. He Qiangwei asked curiously about what Zhang Huihui was holding, "Huihui, what are you holding in your arms? It looks so precious."

Zhang Huihui trusted He Qiangwei, and whispered in her ear,

"Rose, this is not a treasure."

He Qiangwei became even more curious. If it wasn't a treasure, then why was it covered like that? She pressed her ear closer, as if to say, what is it?

It's sulfuric acid.

He Qiangwei trembled and involuntarily moved to the side. Her eyes were filled with horror as she looked at Zhang Huihui. She really liked this woman when she went crazy.

He Qiangwei gave her a thumbs up and whispered to her,

"The banquet has just begun. Wu Youyou will definitely come out and interact with everyone. Just watch for the right moment."

Zhang Huihui nodded, indicating that she understood.

To avoid any misunderstanding, He Qiangwei quickly got up and left.

Shi Zhan has a cold personality and dislikes such crowded and lively scenes. He originally planned to talk to Wu Youyou separately after the banquet to wish her a happy birthday and then give her the gift he had prepared.

But when he noticed Chen Liang and Zhang Huihui acting suspiciously, he felt uneasy and couldn't put his mind at ease, so he followed Song Shaojie to the birthday party.

"Zhanzhan, look how lively it is! Let's go join the fun and have some excitement, okay?"

Shi Zhan remained indifferent. "Go ahead, I'll just sit here!"

His eyes searched for Zhang Huihui in the crowd. He saw that Zhang Huihui was wearing a white dress, but there were many girls wearing white dresses among them, and for a moment he couldn't tell which one was Zhang Huihui. After all, he didn't know what Zhang Huihui looked like.

Besides, everyone here is wearing a mask.

This gave Shi Zhan a bit of a headache, but he remained highly vigilant.

Song Shaojie had been sitting still for a while. He stood up and called out to Shi Zhan.

"You're so boring. I'm going to play now."

After saying that, he surged into the crowd and, to the beat of the music, danced energetically under the flashing lights.

Among the crowd were Liu Xiaolan and Yang Min. Yang Min was naturally a dancer and danced very well to the music, but Liu Xiaolan was different.

She felt very awkward and uncomfortable, and felt particularly uncomfortable twisting her body to the music, so she wanted to leave the crowd.

But Yang Min wouldn't let her leave at all, shouting loudly in her ear.

"Liu Xiaolan, hurry up and jump along! Don't be so reserved, just relax."

Liu Xiaolan felt awkward and could only follow Yang Min's lead, awkwardly moving her arms and legs. She looked so stiff and out of place in the crowd.

Song Shaojie spotted Liu Xiaolan in the crowd at a glance and realized that she couldn't dance at all. So he walked over while dancing and stood next to Liu Xiaolan, facing her and dancing a cool and stylish dance. Every move was perfectly in sync with the music, and it looked really impressive.

Liu Xiaolan felt embarrassed when she saw a boy dancing towards her, and dancing so well at that. Her face turned red, and she stopped dancing, wanting to leave.

How could Song Shaojie let her go so easily? He stepped forward, grabbed Liu Xiaolan's arm, and pulled her in front of him. He lowered his voice and called out,

"Dance can save people from inferiority and mediocrity. Only by opening yourself up from the inside out, not caring about how others see you, and not caring whether you can dance or not, just follow your feelings and completely liberate your body, you will have a magical experience."

It wasn't that Liu Xiaolan didn't want to dance; she was just too reserved. Now, hearing what the boy in front of her said, her heart skipped a beat.

She exclaimed in disbelief, "Really?"

"Really, believe me!"

Liu Xiaolan's mind seemed to be infused with some kind of magical power, giving her a strong desire to give it a try.

Song Shaojie danced to a catchy rhythm, continuing to shout,

"Come on, just like me, let your true self shine!"

Liu Xiaolan slowly closed her eyes, as if there was no one around her except herself. This was the stage, a stage she had never imagined, but now it was embracing her.

She wanted to jump, to jump out of her confidence, to jump out of her boundaries, to let herself become like a gentle breeze, free and graceful.

Song Shaojie watched as Liu Xiaolan started dancing to the music, and he shouted happily.

In just a short while.

Liu Xiaolan danced with great enthusiasm to the music. At first, she couldn't keep up with the rhythm, but after getting used to it, she danced very dynamically. Now she is one with the music, dancing with abandon and letting go to her heart's content.
