At the dinner table, Wu Maoyan kept observing Shi Zhan. Everyone chatted about other things from time to time. Song Shaojie seemed talkative, but he resolutely did not say anything he should not say, such as his and Shi Zhan's family background, which he did not reveal to the Wu family.
