Chapter 5 The Image of a Good Brother

Wu Youyou's confident demeanor prompted He Qiangwei to sneer inwardly.

He Qiangwei was very curious about Wu Maoyan. Was he a student at Peking University? She was excited, as Peking University was also her goal.

She looked intently at Wu Maoyan.

"Kyoto University, that's the best university, and it's my goal. You're a top student at Kyoto University, that's amazing! Youyou's grades are so different from yours. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes today, I wouldn't have believed that you and Youyou are siblings. You were born to the same parents, how come your grades are so different?"

Wu Maoyan paused for a moment. Although he and his younger sister were not born to the same father, He Qiangwei's words stung him. Wu Maoyan thought He Qiangwei was just a child who didn't mean anything by it.

He looked at Wu Youyou, wishing his little sister could have grades like He Qiangwei's. Thinking of how playful she usually was, his gaze turned somewhat stern.

"Youyou, I've often heard you mention that you have a friend named Qiangwei who has excellent grades. You even said that if you had her grades, you could get into Peking University. Is that your classmate?"

Wu Youyou recalled how she had often mentioned He Qiangwei to her family in her past life, and how she had really made sure He Qiangwei made a name for herself in front of her brother.

That's great, He Qiangwei doesn't need to try to make her presence known to her brother, she already has a good impression of him.

Seeing his younger sister looking somewhat dejected, Wu Maoyan felt a surge of disappointment and turned to look at He Qiangwei.

"I heard your grades are very good. Are you confident you can get into Peking University?"

The girl in front of me had short hair and a pair of bright, lively phoenix eyes. Beneath her delicate features, she possessed an undeniable wealth of knowledge.

Looking at her again, I noticed she wasn't wearing any jewelry and dressed in a neutral style. I thought to myself, no wonder she's doing so well in her studies, unlike my younger sister who spends all her time on dressing up.

He Qiangwei smiled and spoke softly.

"Brother, don't worry, Youyou and I will study hard and try our best to get into Peking University."

Wu Maoyan was very happy. If this girl could help Youyou with her studies, improving her grades would definitely be no problem. He thought for a moment before speaking.

"Rose, you're all good friends and roommates, so could you please help Youyou with her studies?"

"Brother, you're being too polite. Youyou is my good friend, and I will do my best to help her. Actually, Youyou has a good foundation; as long as she puts her heart into it, she can definitely succeed!"

He Qiangwei thought with disdain that Wu Youyou's grades were so poor that getting into a decent vocational college would be a huge achievement. When the college entrance exam results came out, she couldn't blame herself. After all, she was determined to keep the favor that had been given away for free.

Wu Youyou felt the same disdain. In her past life, she had been influenced by Shen Yi's words, causing her to neglect her studies and only pass the junior college entrance exam. As a result, she was sent abroad, while Shen Yi and Shen Yi were admitted to Peking University. They were sure to be a perfect match.

It's ironic that she has to tutor herself!

Seeing that it was lunchtime, He Qiangwei wanted to take this opportunity to deepen her relationship with Wu Maoyan, and she acted very naturally.

"It's lunchtime now, you must be hungry. I know a restaurant with really good food, I'll take you there!"

Wu Maoyan was about to agree when he suddenly noticed Wu Youyou clutching her stomach, her face looking unwell. He immediately tensed up.

"Youyou, what's wrong?"

"Brother, I suddenly feel unwell. I want to go home and rest for a while!"

He Qiangwei: "......"

"Alright, I'll take you home now!"

As she left, Wu Youyou felt a pair of resentful eyes staring at her from behind.
