Shi Yuan laughed out loud, but his laughter was tinged with bitterness.
"Although I hold her life in my hands, I will not take it out unless absolutely necessary!"
After speaking, he stared intently at Wu Youyou, as if he could see right through her.
Wu Youyou smiled shyly.
"Of course, after all, she's the one you love!"
That evening, Wu Youyou arrived at the place Shi Yuan had mentioned.
This is an abandoned building. I walked here alone and didn't see anyone.
She had a bad feeling, and just as she was about to leave, two burly men blocked her way.

"Who are you? Why are you stopping me!"
The two burly men didn't say anything, but stared at him with very serious expressions.
Wu Youyou shifted her feet and walked past the two people opposite her.

Wu Youyou looked like she was begging for mercy, which made someone behind her burst into laughter.

"Youyou, is that all the courage you have?!"
She finally recognized who it was – the second young master of the Shi family who had come to see her during the day.
Wu Youyou's fear vanished instantly, and she turned to look at Shi Yuan.
"What are you up to now?"
With a grin on his face, Shi Yuan walked up to Wu Youyou and slowly said,
"Youyou, tomorrow is their engagement day. What do you think I should do to replace Shizhan and get engaged to her?"
Wu Youyou suddenly looked up at him, speechless with shock.
"I originally thought you were thinking about how to prevent Wei Ziyao from appearing, but I didn't expect you to be thinking about replacing her. That would be very difficult."
"The higher the difficulty, the more interesting it is, isn't it?"
"You want to replace Shi Zhan? Unless he's not present, but getting Shi Zhan to be absent is easier said than done. Unless he voluntarily leaves, it will be extremely difficult!"

Wu Youyou was shocked.

After she finished speaking, she walked outside, but she hadn't gone far when she was stopped by the big man from before.
Wu Youyou turned around angrily.
"Shi Yuan, what do you mean by this?"
"I mean you no harm. I just need you to come with me tonight. You'll stay in a villa in the suburbs for one night, and that will be fine!"
"I know your plan. It's nothing more than having me stall Shi Zhan so that you can get engaged to Wei Ziyao, right?"
The sound of clapping filled the air instantly.
"Women are so smart, how lovely!"
Wu Youyou was somewhat displeased. Even though she knew she was not in any immediate danger, she was powerless to do anything about it.
"I can go with you on this matter, but Shi Zhan might not be able to come!"
Shi Yuan's lips curled slightly.
"He will definitely come. I'm betting on his feelings for you, unless I lose the bet!"
Wu Youyou didn't know what to say; she wanted Shi Zhan to appear, yet she didn't want him to appear either.
Shi Yuan was clearly using him to set a trap for Shi Zhan.
Wu Youyou had no choice but to follow Shi Yuan to a villa in the suburbs. The environment there was elegant and the air was fresh, making it a perfect place to stay for a few days.
But right now, she's not in the mood for anything.
"He's not coming!"
"No, no, no—you have no idea how Shi Zhan defied the old man?"
"Rebel against the old man? What do you mean?"
Shi Yuan made a gesture to the two burly men.
The two burly men quickly went over and tied Wu Youyou up.
"Hey—what are you doing?"
As he was speaking, someone stuffed a handkerchief into his mouth.
Wu Youyou stared at Shi Yuan with a sob in her eyes.
Shi Yuan laughed even harder, then finally stopped and slowly said,
"As for why Shi Zhan rebelled against the old man, that's for him to decide. You can ask him!"
Two burly men quickly tied Wu Youyou to a chair.
Shi Yuan walked over and carefully circled around Wu Youyou, seemingly looking at something.
"No, this doesn't look like it at all!"
He untied Wu Youyou's high ponytail. Wu Youyou tried to dodge, but she was tied up and couldn't escape Shi Yuan's hand.
Soon, Wu Youyou's beautiful black hair was let down.
"Wow—nice hair! It seems smoother now, making you look even more beautiful, but you don't look terrible at all!"
Wu Youyou glared at her fiercely, but couldn't make any sound as she mumbled something.
He tried to move the chair, but only managed to shift it slightly, which had no effect whatsoever.
Shi Yuan and Wu Youyou faced each other; he looked at her with a simple, honest expression.
"Youyou, even though you're tied up, you don't look too bad. How about you mess up your hair a bit? What do you think?"
