Chapter 23 The True Culprit Behind the Jade Bracelet

Yang Min was furious.

"you……"

"Oh~ I see. You just want Wu Youyou to feel guilty towards you so that she can treat you as her best friend, right? You actually framed me like this just to befriend Wu Youyou. How despicable!"

"You're talking nonsense!"

Enraged, Yang Min abandoned all pretense of decorum and unleashed a torrent of profanity.

The students were completely bewildered by this explanation and started discussing it. They also noticed that Yang Min had indeed been quite clingy to Wu Youyou these past two days.

The more people thought about it, the stranger it seemed. Wu Youyou was highly suspicious, but didn't Yang Min have any suspicions?

Hearing the whispers of her classmates, Wu Youyou found it amusing. Did these people not have brains?

The vice principal hadn't expected things to escalate to this point and angrily reprimanded him.

"Quiet down!"

Hearing the vice principal's outburst, all the students fell silent, not daring to utter another word. He frowned, looking at Officer Chen, his expression filled with shame and indignation at being framed by his own students.

"Officer Chen, what do you think we should do now?"

Officer Chen remained calm, but his gaze towards Zhang Huihui was somewhat cold. He hadn't expected this child to be so unrepentant, still trying to argue and deny things even now. Fortunately, earlier, when he was leaving, Wu Youyou had chased after him and handed him her schoolbag, saying that it was made of crocodile skin and must have the thief's fingerprints on it, so he could check it as well.

Thinking of this, Officer Chen looked at Wu Youyou with a hint of admiration, thinking to himself, "She really is a good prospect to be a police officer."

Yang Min was so angry that her face turned red and her neck bulged. After all, her upbringing taught her not to use foul language to curse, otherwise she would have given Zhang Huihui a thorough dressing down.

Yang Min was so anxious that tears were almost in her eyes. She glanced at Wu Youyou, afraid that Wu Youyou would misunderstand and think that she was the thief framing her. She stamped her feet and turned back to the police, saying in a tearful voice, "I'm so wronged."

"Officer, I didn't steal from you, and I didn't frame Wu Youyou. You must find out the truth. This thief must be Zhang Huihui."

Officer Chen frowned slightly. Look how anxious this student is!

Zhang Huihui wanted to retaliate, but Officer Chen didn't give her the chance. He gave her a stern look.

“We will definitely investigate this matter thoroughly. There are also the thief's fingerprints on Wu Youyou's schoolbag. Our police have already identified them, and Zhang Huihui's fingerprints are on them!”

Whoosh! The classmate who had just believed Zhang Huihui suddenly turned purplish-red.

At this moment, Zhang Huihui's face turned deathly pale, her body went limp, and she collapsed onto the stool.

Yang Min's eyes widened, and an undisguised joy appeared on her face.
