Not long after sitting down, Lu Jingxiao came downstairs.
"Come and eat quickly." Chen Mengchu called Lu Jingxiao to come over.
Lu Jingxiao took a step and walked over slowly.
Lu Jingxiao sat opposite Chen Mengchu.

Nan Yanran was taken to the company by the driver.

"Are you worried that Nangong Baichuan will change his mind?" Lu Jingxiao expressed Chen Mengchu's concerns.
"I think no matter how busy he is, he should come to pick up Yanran. How could he not have the time?"
Chen Mengchu expressed his doubts.
"If it were you, would you?" Chen Mengchu asked Lu Jingxiao who was sitting in the passenger seat.
If it were him, would he?
"No." Lu Jingxiao answered without hesitation.
If it were him, he wouldn't do that and would turn it down no matter how busy he was.
Nan Yanran is pregnant, and he should come to pick her up no matter what.
Chen Mengchu nodded.
"Don't worry." Lu Jingxiao comforted Chen Mengchu. If Nangong Baichuan really did something wrong to Nan Yanran, he would not let her go.
Chen Mengchu didn't say anything else, but... the worry was still in his heart.

When Nan Yanran arrived, Nangong Baichuan had just finished his work.
