Chapter 141 Run Away
A dreamless night.
The next morning, Yun Qiao went to Jiang Ling's office after breakfast.
The office door was not closed, and Jiang Ling was taking out a tin box of tea from the bookcase, preparing to make tea.
Yun Qiao raised his hand and knocked twice on the door, then said, "Director Jiang, good morning."
"Yun Qiao is here." Jiang Ling turned around to look at her and said with a smile, "You're here quite early."
She brewed the tea, held the teacup, and pointed to the chair in front: "Sit down." She motioned Yun Qiao to sit down opposite the desk.
"Hey." Yun Qiao pulled out a chair and sat down.
Jiang Ling said seriously, "I came to you today because I have two important things to tell you."
Yun Qiao listened carefully: "Okay, go ahead."
"First, we need to sort out the company's bathroom. It's been open for almost a month now. Prepare the accounts. The quartermaster will send an accountant to review them in a few days."
"Okay." Yun Qiao nodded. "The accounts are ready. I'll sort them out when I get back and wait for Accountant Cheng to come."
Director Jiang nodded: "It's enough for you to know. I always trust you when you do things."
"As for the first matter, it's about the educated youth coming here."
Jiang Ling said, "There are a total of 37 educated youth in this group, 10 of whom are female and 10 are male. They will take the train to Harbin on the first of November, then transfer to another train at Mishan. They will arrive at our company on the third of November."
"This group of educated youth are mostly from southern China, with more than half coming from Zhejiang Province. It's almost summer there, and we're still wearing thick sweaters here. The temperature difference is huge, so I think they'll have a hard time adjusting in the first few days. They'll probably catch colds, fevers, diarrhea, and other issues like acclimatization."

After coming out of Jiang Ling's office, Yun Qiao returned to the bathroom, found the records of the last inventory, and made a new list.
She was writing hard at her desk when there was a knock on the bathroom door.
"Knock, knock, knock," rhythmic knocks sounded on the door.
Yun Qiao looked up when he heard this and saw Qin Guifen standing at the door with a smile on her face.
Yun Qiao's face suddenly showed a look of surprise: "Sister Guifen, why are you here?"
"I pickled a few bottles of Chinese toon and brought some to you to eat with rice." Qin Guifen said as she put the glass bottle in her hand on the counter.
The glass bottle was not big. It originally contained canned yellow peaches, but now it was filled with green coriander leaves with a slight purple hue.
Yun Qiao put down the pen and took it with a smile: "Thank you, sister, this is my favorite."
"Then we have the same taste. I also like Chinese toon." Qin Guifen said with a smile: "You can eat as much as you want. When you are done, you can take it back home. I can pickle more."
Yun Qiao: "Then I won't be polite to you."
"Why are you being so polite to me?"
Qin Guifen said, "Yun Qiao, I'm going to the mountain behind to pick wild vegetables at noon. Do you want to join me?"
"Noon?" Yun Qiao shook his head: "No, the bathroom can't be closed at noon."
"How about waiting until evening?" Qin Guifen continued, "I see you're staying in the bathroom all day long. That's not good. It's easy to get bored staying in the room all the time. You should come out for a walk every now and then."
