Chapter 25 He Likes You
Fortunately, Yun Qiao's worries were unnecessary.
Before He Tingjun collapsed, the doctor on duty at the train station clinic finally arrived.
It was Zhang Minglun, an acquaintance of Yun Qiao in his previous life.
Yun Qiao finally felt relieved. Zhang Minglun was a skilled doctor, and also an expert in first aid. He was a dozen years her senior, and in a previous life, he had taken good care of her when she first joined the Railway Bureau's clinic. He was a kind and senior figure.
After a period of rescue, the woman finally recovered her breathing and heartbeat, but she was still conscious and was carried on a stretcher to the hospital. Afterwards, the crowd surrounding the scene was gradually evacuated. Under the guidance of the staff, the riot subsided and normal order was soon restored.
Yun Qiao regained some strength and was pulled up from the ground by He Tingjun's hand. The luggage that had been thrown aside was also found.
The two returned to the queue, but were politely allowed to move to the front by the kind-hearted people in front of them. The baggage check-in supervisor, grateful for their bravery and hard work, made special arrangements and checked their luggage first.
After leaving the waiting hall of the train station, Yun Qiao looked up at the bright sun above his head, feeling a little dazed, wondering whether the woman who had just been sent to the hospital could survive.
She was so absent-minded that she didn't hear clearly what He Tingjun said to her.
"Huh? What did you just say?"
"I told you to sit here and wait for me for a while." He Tingjun asked her to sit on the stone steps at the edge of the altar and wait for a while, he would be back soon.
"Okay." Yun Qiao nodded obediently. Her heart was beating a little fast, so she could sit down and rest for a while.
After a while, He Tingjun came back with two bottles of soda.
He handed Yun Qiao a bottle. The lid of the green glass bottle had been opened, and a thin straw was placed inside.
"Thank you." Yun Qiao lowered his head and took a sip. It was orange flavored.
He Tingjun also sat down next to her and asked her, "Have you learned first aid?"
Studying medicine was something she had done in her previous life. In this life, she was still in high school and had never come into contact with medicine. So Yun Qiao shook her head and said honestly, "No."
There is no need to lie. After all, life experiences are written on paper and cannot withstand scrutiny.
"You really haven't learned it?" He Tingjun was a little surprised. "You're very quick to judge, and you perform chest compressions very well."
Yun Qiao thought for a moment and then half-seriously explained, "I've considered studying medicine before, so I've read some books on the subject and tried it at home according to the instructions in the books."
"You can learn so well just by reading books? You must be very talented!"
Yun Qiao felt a little ashamed when she heard He Tingjun's generous praise. After all, her rebirth was equivalent to cheating.
"You're also very good at sex, better than me. I only pressed for a while and then I ran out of strength."
"That's different. I received first aid training in the army, so I'm considered specialized. As for your strength, you're still young, so it's normal for you to be weak. We soldiers do strength training every day, and your skinny arms and legs really can't compare."
He Tingjun glanced at the slender wrist exposed from Yun Qiao's sleeve, and thought that his niece was indeed a little too thin. This thin wrist seemed fragile to him, and might be broken if he squeezed it lightly.
So I couldn't help but say one more thing: "Eat more in the future."
Yun Qiao lowered his head to drink his soda, paused, and then nodded obediently: "I understand."
After finishing the soda, He Tingjun took the empty bottle and refunded the deposit, then sent her home.
The bus stopped at the platform outside the alley. He Tingjun wanted to get off to see her off, but Yun Qiao refused: "Brother He, no need to see me off. It's only a few steps away. I can go home by myself. Don't get off, or you'll have to wait for another bus for a long time."
He Tingjun nodded: "Okay, then go slowly."
Yun Qiao waved at him through the car window: "Goodbye, Brother He."
"goodbye."
Yun Qiao had just returned home and was holding a basin of water to wash his face when he saw Qin Lili, his neighbor, peeking into the yard outside the gate.
