Chapter 596 Don’t Provoke Me (1/2)

Because the two children also slept in the bedroom, Yun Qiao left a bedside lamp on for fear that the children would wake up at night and be scared in the dark room.

She slightly opened her sleepy eyes and saw a tall silhouette reflected in the doorway through the dim light of the night light at the head of the bed.

It was pitch black and silent in the deep night. Yun Qiao's sleepy voice seemed especially gentle in the still night.

"It's me." He Tingjun responded in a deep voice, then gently closed the door and walked into the room.

He took off his military jacket as he walked and casually hung it on the frame at the foot of the bed. Then he walked to the head of the bed. Just as he was about to lean over to hug his wife, he saw children lying on both sides of her.

The two children clung tightly to Yun Qiao's body. He Yan even held Yun Qiao's arms with both hands, as if they were afraid that their mother would leave suddenly.

In fact, we can't blame children for being dependent on their mothers.

After all, the week Yun Qiao spent away from home for college was the first time the two children had spent so much time away from their mother. Psychologically, the children hadn't adjusted well. They'd been missing her all day, though they'd been busy playing and not showing it during the day. But at night, after falling asleep, this insecurity would inevitably surface, and the most obvious manifestation was their instinctive clinging to her like a puppy.

Yun Qiaoming knew this and understood it, so he lay between the two children without moving. He just raised his arm and rubbed his eyes, trying to make himself more awake.

She lay sideways on the pillow, looked at He Tingjun, and asked him softly, "Why are you back so late?"

"There is a mission." He Tingjun said concisely.

Yun Qiao understood. It was probably a confidential mission and he couldn't ask.

She hummed softly and said, "You must be tired after coming back so late. Go wash up and go to bed early."

He Tingjun reached out and rubbed Yun Qiao's face. His rough palm caressed the delicate skin of her cheek, causing a slight itch.

Yun Qiao heard him whisper, "Do you want to come with me?"

After not seeing each other for a week, Yun Qiao actually missed He Tingjun.

So...

She looked down at the two children who were practically clinging to her and smiled helplessly, "Goodbye. If they wake up again, they'll have to be comforted."

He Tingjun was helpless when he heard this, but there was not much regret in his eyes. The look he gave his two children was still full of gentle fatherly love.

"Okay, then I'll go by myself."

"Go ahead." Yun Qiao waved at him, signaling him not to dawdle.

He Tingjun easily took off his upper body clothes, revealing his naked upper body.

His body was well-trained, with distinct chest and abdominal muscles. Under the dim light, they reflected a faint glow, hazy, but with an extremely ambiguous and seductive feeling.

Yun Qiao swallowed subconsciously, then quickly turned his head and looked away.

He Tingjun let out a low laugh from his throat.

Yun Qiao's face flushed immediately, and she glared at him, "Don't bother me. The kids are all here, and there's nothing we can do. Go wash up quickly, and then go to bed. I'm so sleepy."

Although they are already an old couple with two children, Yunyun and Qiao are still shy when it comes to their married life.

He Tingjun loved her reaction very much. He leaned over and kissed the corner of her lips, then reluctantly parted with her.

He wanted to kiss her again, but at this moment, He Yan, who was sleeping next to Yun Qiao, suddenly turned over and hummed in a daze.

The couple suddenly became nervous.

Yun Qiao subconsciously hooked her arms around He Tingjun's neck, causing the muscles on He Tingjun's back to tense up and bulge.

Fortunately, He Yan didn't really wake up. After humming a few times, he smacked his lips and fell asleep again.

Yun Qiao breathed a sigh of relief, raised his hand and gently touched He Yan's hair, and patted her back twice as if coaxing a baby. At the same time, he glared at He Tingjun, signaling him to stop making trouble and go wash up quickly.

After this incident, He Tingjun was no longer greedy and honestly got up and went to the bathroom to wash up.

Yun Qiao originally wanted to wait for him to come back after washing up, but she was so sleepy that she closed her eyes while waiting.

By the time He Tingjun came back after washing up, she had already fallen asleep.

He Tingjun did not wake her up again. He leaned over and kissed her forehead. He carried He Yi, who was sleeping on Yun Qiao's side, to the other side to be close to He Yan. He then lay down where He Yi had just fallen asleep, gently put his arm around Yun Qiao's shoulders, and brought her into his arms.

Familiar person, familiar embrace, familiar breath, Yun Qiao subconsciously snuggled up to He Tingjun, resting her head on his arm, and continued to sleep in the most comfortable position for her.

The next morning, Yun Qiao was woken up by He Yi sitting on him.

The four-year-old fat boy weighed thirty-five pounds, and his butt was pressed on Yun Qiao's stomach, like a mountain pressing down on his head.

Yun Qiao groaned in pain, and he knew without opening his eyes that it was He Yi, that rascal, who had done this.

She yelled at him, "He Yi? What are you doing? Are you murdering your own mother?!"

"Mom, play with me." He Yi didn't realize the danger yet, still smiling, and even tried to sit on Yun Qiao again.

However, the next second, He Tingjun pulled him out of the bed by the back of his clothes.

"You want to play, right? Come, daddy will play with you."

He Tingjun's tone was calm, but He Yi could still hear the hint of impending storm from this calm tone.

His face changed and he waved his hands quickly: "No, no, no, I don't want to play anymore. Dad, I suddenly feel a little sleepy and want to go back to sleep."

"It's morning, why are you sleeping? Go out and play with daddy."

He Tingjun was smiling. He Yi felt that his father's attitude was not right at the moment. He subconsciously looked at Yun Qiao with a look of help: "Mom, hug me, I want a hug."

Yun Qiao does not agree with the practice of one spouse playing the good cop and the other the bad cop when educating their children.

One educates and the other protects, which will make the child feel fearless - look, no matter how mean you are to me, my mom/dad will protect me anyway.

He didn't learn an effective lesson and will dare to do it again next time.

Therefore, when He Tingjun educates his children, she never interferes.

Of course, the couple had already reached an understanding, and when Yun Qiao was educating the children, He Tingjun would not interfere.

The couple had the same attitude, and the two children had no choice but to listen to their instructions obediently. There was no loophole for them to exploit, and the results of their teachings were very effective.
