Qi Chunqi remained indifferent.
Mother Qi wasn't embarrassed either. She continued, "I didn't really want to take your money. Qi's mother didn't know what her husband was thinking. She was still thinking, "How about I go to the grocery store and buy a pound of egg cake? I can let her take it with her when she leaves so she can eat it on the way?"
Egg cakes are rare and not very expensive, so they are just the right thing to use to win over this damn girl.
Qi's father remained noncommittal: "It's just a small matter for you to decide."
