Chapter 12 Recording
Qin Ruo didn't expect Gu He to be so cold and questioning to her.
There was panic in her eyes, and it took her a long time to regain her consciousness.
"Brother He, listen to my explanation. It was her!" Qin Ruo pointed at Yun Ran. "She was the one who provoked me first and said some bad things. I was so angry that I couldn't help but hit her."
Gu He didn't let her vague words fool him. He was determined to get to the bottom of it. "What bad words?"
Yun Ran gritted her teeth and looked at Yun Ran who was pretending to gain sympathy. She decided to go all out: "She said that the position of Mrs. Gu will always be hers. She is the most important person in He Ge's heart. No one can compare to her...including my sister."
Gu He didn't have any special reaction when he heard the word "Mrs. Gu", until Qin Qing was mentioned, his expression changed.
He frowned and turned to ask Yun Ran: "Is what she said true?"
Yun Ran laughed, a very sarcastic and mocking laugh: "You accept everything your Ruoruo says, right? If you believe her so much, why are you asking me?"
After she finished speaking, she took the bag hanging on the shelf and started to leave.
Gu He stopped her: "I'm just asking for the truth, why are you so angry?"
Yun Ran looked straight at him: "The truth is, she came to provoke me and told me not to have such infatuation with you."
"Miss Qin warned me that you only saw that I resemble Qin Qing a bit, and used me as a substitute. Once the novelty wears off, you'll forget about me."
"She even swore to me that she was your childhood sweetheart. Even Qin Qing lost to her, so I am nothing."
"What did you say?" Gu He was stunned. "What do you mean Qin Qing also lost to her?"
The implication of these words was too obvious, but Qin Ruo had already handled it with ease and was not panicked at all: "Miss Yun, I know you don't like me and are afraid that I will take Brother He away, but you can't bring up my sister and say such nonsense."
"Sister is gone, and it's fine if you don't respect her relationship with He Ge, but now you're deliberately using her to slander me in order to snatch He Ge away. Isn't that a bit too much?"
After saying that, she looked at Gu He with grievance: "Brother He, you saw it too. If she hadn't offended me too much, how could I have been so angry and hit her?"

Looking at Gu He again, as expected, he had already believed Qin Ruo's words.

Before, Qin Ruo used all the tricks, including Bai Lian and Green Tea, to slander Qin Qing. Gu He firmly believed in the tricks Qin Ruo used and thought that Qin Qing was ignorant.
Now that Qin Qing is dead, he is here regretting and unable to let go of her. He does not allow anyone to say a bad word about Qin Qing, and allows Qin Ruo to once again use Qin Qing as a means to achieve her goals.

Yun Ran didn't say anything extra and took out the upside-down cell phone from under the folder on the table.
Unlock, click on the recording, turn up the volume of the phone to the highest, and click Playback.
Qin Ruo's sharp voice immediately rushed out of the screen.
"Imitating a dead person to seduce men, how shameless of you!"
"He treated you with some color, but it was only because you looked like Qin Qing."
"I am his fiancée."
"He and I grew up together, we're childhood sweethearts. He will be with me forever. You are the outsider!"
The recording stopped abruptly, and the office was filled with dead silence, which illuminated the shocked faces of Gu He and Qin Ruo, making it look particularly exciting.
