Chapter 2 She Doesn't Care Anymore

Chapter 2 She Doesn't Care Anymore

The wrist was grabbed.

With an unexpected pull, Yun Ran fell forward uncontrollably and fell into Li Ting's arms.

His cold fingertips slowly slid across her face, and Li Ting's hoarse voice echoed in her ears: "Ranran, is this your way of revenge?"

Yun Ran's eyes darkened and he gripped the wheelchair handle: "You promised me that you wouldn't interfere."

Li Ting smiled, his fingers caressing the glaring red on her collarbone, and pressing harder: "Have you forgotten that the premise of my agreement is that you are not allowed to have any deep intimate contact with the man named Gu?"

His voice grew deeper, and he suddenly bit Yun Ran's lips hard, causing her to frown in pain: "If you continue to be so naughty..."

Before he could finish the rest of his words, Yun Ran had already taken action.

His hand flexibly moved downwards, and his slender fingertips moved, and soon the slight "click" sound of the metal buckle was heard in the air.

Li Ting sat in a wheelchair, his body suddenly stiffening.

Yun Ran pursed her lips, supported herself on Li Ting's shoulders and stood up, sitting astride him: "Mr. Li, you can give it a try to see if I have violated the agreement."

Li Ting narrowed his eyes, revealing danger: "Are you sure?"

"Since it's a deal, we must fulfill it." Yun Ran said calmly.

Gu He, Qin Ruo, the parents who were blinded and ashamed of her, and the real Yun Ran who was killed by Qin Ruo...

Since she was lucky enough to be reborn, she was determined to avenge the blood debts she owed and let the innocent souls who died in vain rest in peace.

As early as when he found Li Ting and decided to use himself as a bargaining chip to borrow his power, Yun Ran no longer cared about anything.

Not to mention her body, even taking her life after the deed is possible.

Thinking of everything that happened in the past, Yun Ran was overwhelmed by hatred and unwillingness. There was determination in her eyes, and she reached out to lift the hem of her skirt.

Li Ting's forehead veins jumped, and he grabbed her hand, almost gritting his teeth: "Aren't you afraid that Gu will suddenly burst in and ruin your plan?"

Yun Ran's stubborn grip loosened, and he turned to look at Li Ting: "Do you believe me now?"

Li Ting closed his eyes: "There won't be a next time."

Yun Ran nodded, got up from him, and stood firmly with the help of the wheelchair armrest.

The Yun family's foundation is too shallow. If it weren't for Li Ting, the Yun family would not even be qualified to attend a banquet like this tonight, let alone approach the Qin and Gu families openly.

She wants revenge, and she will need a lot of help in the future. The man in front of her is her greatest support at the moment.

Only after she appeased Li Ting could her plan proceed smoothly.

Yun Ran lowered her head to look at the place where he was messed up by her, hesitated for a moment, and then squatted down in front of him.

A hint of surprise flashed across Li Ting's eyes, and he subconsciously wanted to reach out to stop him.

But when she thought of what had just happened between her and Gu He, the rage running through her chest burned out her rationality. She clenched her outstretched hand and slowly leaned back in the wheelchair.

The room quickly became scorching hot, but Yun Ran unconsciously clenched the armrests of his wheelchair, veins popping out on the back of his hands, and he could barely suppress the trembling of his body.

Gu He, who was immersed in lust, quickly noticed the abnormality, frowned, and his eyes instantly became clear.

He reached out to pull Yun Ran, but couldn't. He opened his mouth to say something, but the host's voice from downstairs floated up through the amplified audio equipment.

"Mr. Gu He and Miss Qin Ruo are officially engaged. From now on, the Gu and Qin families will join forces to develop new projects in the west of the city. Congratulations to the newlyweds!"

Every word is clear to the ear.

Yun Ran trembled even more violently, hatred mixed with fear, as if she was trapped in some terrible memories, making her fragile and unfamiliar.

But even so, she still continued stubbornly, her reason and fear pulling at each other, refusing to admit defeat, forcing herself to endure and overcome.

"Enough!" Li Ting's face was terribly gloomy. He pulled Yun Ran up and looked into her empty eyes. His surging emotions died down and he could no longer utter a word of accusation.

I don't know how long the stalemate lasted, but suddenly footsteps were heard outside the door, and they stopped at the door of the lounge with a hurried sound.

"Ranran, are you in there?"

Yun Ran's chaotic thoughts came back to life, and he slowly looked in the direction of the sound.

"Ranran?" Gu He knocked on the door again. Seeing no response from inside, he simply turned the doorknob.
