Chapter 3 Remember My Conditions
Yun Ran took a deep breath, quickly suppressed his emotions and calmed down, then turned to look at Li Ting.
Li Ting was inexplicably annoyed and did not express his opinion. His expression, which had just improved a little, darkened again.
Outside the door, Gu He tried several times but failed to open the locked lounge. He couldn't help but wonder: "Ran Ran, are you asleep?"
"It's all over here. Mr. Yun has something to do and needs to leave first. I'll take you back."
Still getting no response, Gu He called a waiter and prepared to get the key to open the door.
Hearing the conversation outside the door, Yun Ran closed her eyes and gently held Li Ting's hand.
Li Ting's surging anger subsided for a moment, and he just looked at Yun Ran who was showing goodwill to her, and the two of them looked at each other silently.
Just before the key was inserted into the lock, Li Ting finally gave up, sighed softly and leaned back in his chair.
Yun Ran breathed a sigh of relief and without caring about anything else, pushed Li Ting into the bathroom in a hurry.
Almost at the same time, the lounge was opened and Gu He pushed the door and walked in.
Looking at the empty room, he frowned in confusion: "Ran Ran?"
The lounge was locked from the inside, so Yun Ran didn't even have the chance to play dumb.
She quickly washed her face in front of the mirror, fixed her hair, and wiped off the smudged lipstick.
There were finger marks on his arm, but before Li Ting, Gu He had also been infatuated, so these marks needed no explanation.
In just a few minutes, she returned to her original appearance, smoothing out the wrinkles on her skirt and looking as if nothing had happened.
Before leaving, Yun Ran looked down at the man with gloomy eyes and lowered his voice to the lowest possible level: "Mr. Li..."
Li Ting stared at her for a moment and said coldly, "Remember my conditions. If you dare to let him touch you, don't blame me for breaking the agreement."
Yun Ran nodded, and before Gu He came over, he quickly opened the door and went out.
The door opened and then closed immediately, hiding Li Ting's figure behind the door.
Yun Ran took a few steps forward, took Gu He's arm, and led him out: "Why are you here? Is it over?"
Gu He was not someone who could be easily fooled, and he instinctively felt that something was wrong.
But today, he and Qin Ruo announced their engagement. Although he had already told Yun Ran, it was just a pretext for the smooth cooperation between the two families. They would cancel the engagement once the project stabilized.
But when he saw Yun Ran, he couldn't help feeling guilty.
That little weirdness was naturally ignored.
"It's over." Gu He's expression softened. "Why did you lock the door? I called you for a while but you didn't respond."
Yun Ran pursed her lips and whispered sheepishly, "I had a stomachache and was afraid it would be embarrassing if someone came in, so I locked the door. I didn't hear you calling me."
"Besides, I didn't expect it to end so soon. After all, tonight...is more than just a simple birthday party."
Yun Ran didn't mean to complain, but he could hardly hide the loneliness in his tone.
Looking at her well-behaved and docile appearance, Gu He suddenly felt dazed.
Qin Qing is a sunny and outstanding girl. She is very principled, a bit strong-willed, unwilling to admit defeat, and can be stubborn.
She treats people sincerely and dares to love and hate.
But I don’t know why, I just don’t like Qin Ruo.
Gu He didn't want them to argue, but he couldn't stop them. He could only watch the conflict between them become more and more serious.
Unfortunately, Qin Ruo was weak and could not stand the stimulation. Whenever the two of them confronted each other, Gu He could only persuade Qin Qing to give in.
