Although Qin Qing had changed her personality before her death and no longer spoke sweetly to him, this long-lost feeling of familiarity still made Gu He miss her so much that he wanted to cry.
With longing surging, he leaned over and hugged Yun Ran, as if he was hugging the person who would never come back through her.

After a long while, Gu He slowly pulled himself out of his thoughts. He rubbed the back of Yun Ran's head and assured her gently, "Don't worry, it will be over soon."
"I only regard Ruoruo as a sister who needs my care. Once the Qin family overcomes this crisis, I will cancel our engagement and will not marry her."
Yun Ran didn't say anything, but where he couldn't see, his expression was mocking.
Qin Ruo is a person who will not give up until she achieves her goal. After they finally got engaged, how could she give Gu He the chance to cancel the engagement?
