Chapter 123 Fang Qingyue’s Plan

Fang Qingyue was suddenly startled. She took out the packet of medicine and looked at it carefully, and found that it was the packet of glowing powder she had made before.

This powder will glow wherever it is placed. After Fang Qingyue made it, she kept it away carefully. She originally planned to use it to tease others.

I somehow forgot about it later, and unexpectedly it was not taken away.

She rolled her eyes and immediately came up with an idea.

At the same time, Aunt Xu's hand caressed the children in the dark one by one.

After a while, Fang Qingyue gently pulled Aunt Xu's hand and said, "Aunt, I have a way for us to escape, but it might be a little dangerous for the children. Can you please help me?"

Her voice was very low and her face looked a little embarrassed.

Aunt Xu treated these children as her own eyes, and she was afraid that Aunt Xu would not agree.

"What's the danger?" Aunt Xu asked in a low voice.

Fang Qingyue whispered something to Aunt Xu, and after a while, she heard a voice from the darkness: "If I can save all the abducted boys and girls, I would be willing to do it."

As she spoke, she grasped Fang Qingyue's wrist tightly and said in a hoarse voice, "You do it."

The cellar fell into a long silence. Fang Qingyue and Aunt Xu huddled quietly in a corner, waiting for dark.

I don't know how long it was, but suddenly there was a loud noise outside the cellar. Aunt Xu immediately grabbed Fang Qingyue's hand and moved it to the back of one of the children. Fang Qingyue used her fingertips to pinch several acupoints on the child's back.

Then, the child's skin immediately became hot. She quickly withdrew her hand and disguised the knot in her hand as if it was tied.

The cellar was opened, and someone came down holding a torch: "Come here, take these people out quickly!"

The woman and man who had been seen during the day went down into the cellar again, each one taking one person, to pull out Fang Qingyue and Aunt Xu.

Fang Qingyue was pulled up by the man, but Aunt Xu suddenly knelt on the ground.

Her hands were tied behind her back, so she couldn't move at all. However, she still managed to kowtow to the two men, her forehead bleeding. "Please, save my child. He has a fever and has passed out. If he doesn't get medical help right away, he might not be able to survive. Please save him!"

Her voice was particularly sad, and she sounded like a loving mother.

The woman and the man exchanged a glance. After a moment, the woman said coldly, "Why bother? If he's sick, just leave him here. If he survives, I'll bring him back to you. If he doesn't, send him to hell!"

As she spoke, the woman came over to pick up Aunt Xu.

Fang Qingyue, who was about to be dragged out of the cellar by the man, suddenly said, "No, this is a boy, and from what I see, he looks smart. If he gets burned or killed, he won't sell for much. I've seen people keep male prostitutes in their homes, and they like the young ones because they can sell them for a high price."

She felt sick to her stomach, but she maintained a look of seeking the best for both the woman and the man. "I'm a doctor, and seeing him so seriously ill is truly heartbreaking. Besides, he'll recover quickly with just one dose of my medicine. It won't take much time. Wouldn't it be risky for you to go outside and find another child? The entire capital is under martial law right now. If we were discovered, it would be difficult to escape."

Fang Qingyue analyzed the pros and cons clearly. For a moment, the woman was really tempted: "Put her down and let her show the child."

Because he was in a hurry, the man did not notice that the knot on Fang Qingyue's wrist had been untied. After helping her untie the knot, he asked her to go and treat the child.

The child had a fever because of Fang Qingyue. She had already thought of how to solve the problem, but her face was extremely serious as she took the child's pulse.

The woman and the man kept track of the time and couldn't help but frown: "Hurry up, if it can't be cured, don't treat it, don't waste my time."

Fang Qingyue didn't say anything. After taking the little boy's pulse, she prescribed a prescription for him.

There were quite a few kinds of medicine on the prescription, two of which were uncommonly used medicines, and it was obvious that they were not readily available in such a place.

The woman took a closer look at the prescription, her expression immediately becoming unpleasant. She pushed Fang Qingyue, almost causing her to fall to the ground. "You little bitch, you knew we couldn't get these medicines, so you deliberately teased us, didn't you? How could a place like ours have so many medicines?"

Fang Qingyue struggled so hard that she nearly broke free from the ropes on her hands. She was so frightened that she broke out in a cold sweat, but she still pretended to be innocent: "You can just go to any clinic to buy these medicines."

"How can we get to the clinic?" The woman was not a clumsy person. She frowned and had an unpleasant expression on her face.

If they went to the clinic, they would be exposed. They didn't dare to interact with outsiders these days, for fear of being discovered.

"Forget it, forget it. I won't buy the medicine. It all depends on the child's luck. If he really can't make it, then it means the child has no luck." After saying that, she was about to throw the child into the cellar and leave with Fang Qingyue and Aunt Xu.

Fang Qingyue said hurriedly: "This can't be done. The child has a high fever and may become unconscious and talk nonsense. What if someone finds out..."

She seemed to suddenly think of something and stopped talking.

As expected, the child who had been so quiet just now suddenly coughed a few times in his throat, and then began to shout hoarsely: "Mom..."

"Trouble!" the woman cursed fiercely and said coldly, "Then do you know which store sells the medicine cheaper?"

"I heard that the medicine at Mingyue Clinic is the cheapest." Fang Qingyue pretended to be ignorant. "But it's a pity that it's located in a remote place. We probably can't get through there."

"Apart from that, we can only use the herbs from Zhongcaotang, but the retail price is still much higher than Mingyue Medical Clinic."

Having said that, the woman said coldly, "Then let's go to Mingyue Clinic, right now."

Fang Qingyue struggled to get up and wanted to go to the clinic herself. If she could see her, Fang Chiyue would probably feel relieved.

But unexpectedly, the woman rolled her eyes, pointed at her and said, "You are not allowed to go. Let this woman go with him."

She pointed at the man standing beside her and snorted coldly: "Don't even think about running away. Even if only one of you escapes, the rest of you will die."

These words were spoken with great force, and were meant to threaten Fang Qingyue.

Fang Qingyue glanced back at the woman, shook her head innocently and said, "I won't run away."

But she felt nervous after all, afraid that the woman would discover the plan between her and Aunt Xu.

If they were discovered, all five of them would be harmed.

Fang Qingyue pinched her palm and gently applied the powder hidden in her palm to the back of the prescription.

The rope on her hand was untied, and Fang Qingyue stuffed the medicine bag and prescription into Aunt Xu's palm, gently saying, "This medicine should be ten cents a set. Don't buy it too expensive."
