Chapter 126: I Will Make You Die On The Spot

At that time, outside the carriage.

The night was dark, and occasionally a cool breeze came in through the gaps in the carriage, bringing a hint of cool air.

The carriage sped along and soon stopped at a remote pier.

It was already dark at this time, the moon was hiding behind the clouds, and the surrounding scenery could only be barely discerned as a vague outline under the reflection of the water waves.

The dock was empty and quiet, with only a dim lantern faintly visible in the distance, swaying in the cold wind.

On the water surface, water birds occasionally flapped their wings, causing a few ripples. In the night, everything seemed particularly gloomy.

The woman jumped off the carriage, looked around for a moment, and after confirming that there was no one around, she turned back and said to the man.

"Hurry up and get him down. Don't waste time."

The man nodded and roughly lifted the curtain of the carriage. The figures of Fang Qingyue and several children gradually appeared inside.

Not far away, in the darkness, a small boat approached the dock silently.

There was a faint oil lamp hanging on the boat, the light flickering, as if it could be blown out by the night wind at any time.

As the boat gradually approached, muffled footsteps were heard from the dock. Soon, two burly men jumped off the boat. Both were dressed in black and had grim smiles on their faces. They were obviously veterans who were used to doing this kind of business.

"Everything is in the car, come and check it quickly."

The woman spoke coldly to the two big men, without a trace of pity in her tone, as if they were just talking about a few pieces of goods rather than a group of living people.

One of the big men nodded, walked quickly to the carriage, and roughly pulled Fang Qingyue and several children down.

Fang Qingyue was pushed and staggered a few steps before she could find her footing. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the big man examining several children, and he chuckled with satisfaction from time to time.

"These children are in good health and seem to be well-fed."

The big man poked the children's arms with his fingers and nodded with satisfaction.

"What about this woman?"

Another big man walked up to Fang Qingyue, looked her up and down, and frowned slightly.

"It looks quite old. Can it be sold for a good price?"

The woman immediately interrupted, "Although this woman is a bit older, she has a good appearance. The key is that she knows medical skills. She can save a lot of trouble and will definitely sell for a good price."

After hearing what the woman said, the big man showed greed on his face and nodded, saying, "Okay, I'll take all the goods. Where's the money? Give it to me."

Upon hearing this, the woman immediately revealed a smug smile and turned to the man, saying, "Go, bring the silver here."

Fang Qingyue was pushed roughly, staggered a few steps, and almost fell to the ground.

She tried hard to keep her balance, but her heart was filled with anxiety.

These human traffickers had obviously already mastered the process of this transaction and had no scruples, as if she and the children in front of them were nothing more than commodities.

Her heart was beating as fast as a drum. At this moment, Fang Qingyue's eyes accidentally swept towards the grass beside the dock.

She suddenly caught a glimpse of a blurry figure - Chi Yue was squatting in the grass.

Although Chi Yue's eyes were empty, her familiar face and slightly raised ears made Fang Qingyue feel a little more at ease.

Realizing this, Fang Qingyue's anxious mood instantly calmed down a lot.

She tried hard to control her emotions and avoid showing any strange expression. She just quietly adjusted her breathing and waited for the next move.

"Hurry up and get them all on board!"

A big man waved his hand and urged rudely.

Fang Qingyue felt the big man's rough hands pressing on her shoulders again, pushing her forward forcefully.

She gritted her teeth secretly and pretended to be obedient as she was taken to the wooden boat at the dock.

The big men skillfully pushed Fang Qingyue and the children onto the boat one by one. The hull shook slightly, making a "creaking" sound.

Fang Qingyue followed closely behind and was stuffed into the cabin with the children.

The cabin was dark and damp, and the air was filled with a disgusting musty smell.

After Fang Qingyue was pushed in, the boat shook slightly. She immediately steadied herself and looked around in the dim light.

The scene before her made her heart sink - the cabin was crowded with children, all of them in tattered clothes and haggard faces. Most of them huddled in the corner, shivering, their eyes full of fear.

Fang Qingyue suppressed the anger in her heart, gently approached one of the children, and whispered comfortingly: "Don't be afraid, sister is here, and won't let anything happen to you."

The child looked up at her timidly, then lowered his head again, his small body trembling slightly.

Fang Qingyue's heart tightened. She needed to find a way to escape as soon as possible and could not delay any longer.

She tilted her head slightly, pricked up her ears, and listened carefully to the movement outside.

At the dock, trading continues.

The woman took a bag of silver from the big man, opened the cloth bag and checked it. After confirming that it was correct, she nodded with satisfaction.

She sneered at the big man and said, "We've settled the payment. If you have business like this again in the future, don't forget us."

The big man showed his yellow teeth and smiled ferociously: "Don't worry, as long as you can bring good goods, you will get a lot of money."

The transaction was completed, and the woman and man seemed to be about to leave, but at this moment, a burst of hurried footsteps suddenly came from the darkness, and then a cold shout broke the tranquility of the night: "Stop!"

The women and men were startled and looked back, only to see a group of people rushing out from the darkness, led by Shen Yuhan.

He was wearing a black cloak, his face was stern, and there was a cold light flashing in his eyes.
