Chapter 163: Forced to Go Up the Mountain

Fang Qingyue was shocked and said coldly, "Are you going to force me?"

The man's eyes widened and he said fiercely, "Doctor, don't be ungrateful!"

"If you don't come with us, I can't protect this clinic, nor can I protect you all!"

Before he finished speaking, Cheng Qingyuan immediately stood in front of Fang Qingyue, his face darkening: "You can't do this! Miss Fang is just a doctor. If you have an illness, why don't you ask the doctor down the mountain to come? Why do you have to bring her up the mountain?"

The bandit frowned, clearly in a bad mood. "Stop talking nonsense! Our boss is dying, and the doctors in town are all quacks. If you delay any longer, the consequences will go beyond just demolishing this clinic!"

Fang Qingyue looked at the ferocious bandits in front of her and was filled with anger, but after a closer look, she also noticed their urgency.

After thinking for a moment, she turned to look at Cheng Qingyuan and whispered, "They are here to seek medical treatment. If I don't go, I'm afraid you won't be able to escape."

She was well aware of the brutality of the bandits, but she could see that they were indeed here to rescue people. For the safety of Cheng Qingyuan and his family, she had to think twice.

Cheng Qingyuan was stunned and hurriedly advised: "Miss Fang, these bandits have always been brutal. How can you, a woman, take such a risk?"

"Besides, you may not be able to save their boss. If something goes wrong, they are afraid..."

Fang Qingyue's eyes flashed with determination, and she interrupted him, saying, "Don't worry, I'll go save them. Saving the dying and healing the wounded is a doctor's duty. Besides, their intention isn't to hurt me. As long as I try my best, they shouldn't make it difficult for me."

Even though she was filled with resentment, as a doctor, she could not refuse to save people.

Cheng Qingyuan wanted to say something else, but was stopped by Fang Qingyue with a gentle wave of her hand.

She picked up the medicine box, turned to the group of bandits, and said calmly, "Let's go."

When the bandit saw that she agreed, his expression eased a little. Without saying anything more, he directly ordered his men to take Fang Qingyue away.

Fang Qingyue turned around and told Cheng Qingyuan, "Don't worry, I'll be back soon."

After saying that, he followed the bandits out of the clinic.

Fang Qingyue followed the bandits all the way up the mountain. Sitting in the carriage, the bumpy road made her feel uncomfortable all over.

The carriage was shaking violently, and she held on to the handrail tightly, trying not to feel dizzy.

The bandits did not dare to delay. They urged the coachman to speed up and looked anxious, fearing that they would lose time and fail to save people.

Fang Qingyue secretly wondered what kind of person this bandit leader was that could make such a group of vicious subordinates so anxious.

After a few hours of bumpy ride, the carriage finally stopped on the mountain.

When Fang Qingyue walked out of the carriage, what came into view was a luxurious mansion with high walls, deep courtyards, pavilions and towers hidden among the pines and cypresses. It was magnificent and completely different from the simple residences of ordinary bandits.

She was moved. It seemed that this bandit leader was no ordinary person.

Several bandits escorted her into the house and headed straight for the main hall.

As soon as she entered the door, Fang Qingyue smelled a strong smell of medicine.

In the hall, a handsome young man was lying on the bed with a painful expression and cold sweat on his forehead. Several bandits beside him looked nervous.

An elderly bandit came forward and said urgently, "Doctor, please save our boss!"

"He was bitten by a venomous snake. The poison has been in his body for a long time. He can't hold on any longer!"

Fang Qingyue immediately stepped forward and carefully examined the patient's injuries.

There was a deep wound on the young man's arm, and the skin around it had turned black, obviously he had been poisoned.

She quickly took the patient's pulse and felt that it was extremely weak. The poison had already invaded the internal organs and the situation was extremely critical.

"The poison has already entered the body. If it is not treated in time, I am afraid it will be difficult to cure it."

Fang Qingyue frowned and quickly took out the needle, "We must use the needle immediately to force the poison out."

She embroidered calmly while quickly thinking of a solution.

Although the bandit leader was seriously poisoned and his pulse was weak, he was not beyond help.

As long as acupuncture and medication are combined, there is still hope of survival.

Fang Qingyue was fully focused and skilled as he inserted the silver needles into the leader's various acupuncture points one by one.

As the acupuncture progressed, the leader's originally dark face gradually regained some color and he let out a few weak moans.

Suddenly, a bandit's younger brother stepped forward, drew his knife, stared coldly at Fang Qingyue, and threatened fiercely: "If anything happens to my big brother, don't blame me for being rude to you!"

Fang Qingyue frowned slightly, a cold light flashed in her eyes, but she remained as steady as a rock, without the slightest panic.

She looked at the bandit coldly, unmoved, and said calmly: "If that's the case, then why did you come to me?"

"Since you are threatening me, I won't treat you."

After saying this, the silver needle in her hand suddenly stopped and she pretended to take it back.

"You..." The bandit's younger brother became anxious when he saw this, and his hand holding the knife couldn't help but tremble.

He didn't expect Fang Qingyue to be so bold as to give up and not treat the patient at such a critical moment.

Seeing that the situation was at a stalemate, the surrounding bandits didn't know how to respond.

Fang Qingyue's tone became even colder: "I, Fang Qingyue, am here to save people, not to deal with threats."

"If you're going to treat me this way, then please find someone else. I can leave immediately."

She spoke calmly and fearlessly, but instead took the situation firmly into her own hands.

The bandits looked at each other in surprise. It was obvious that this female doctor was not the weak woman they had imagined.

Seeing his leader's critical condition, the bandit's younger brother, holding the knife, finally gritted his teeth and put the knife away, saying coldly, "Okay... okay! I apologize, and I beg the doctor to save my brother!"
