The small town was shrouded in darkness, and the moonlight was blocked by thick clouds.
Li Chengfeng was carrying a basket of fresh ingredients, thinking about how to give Fang Qingyue a surprise, hoping to bring them closer.
Tonight is a good opportunity. He thought of Fang Qingyue's gentle smile and his heart couldn't help but warm.
But just as he was walking quickly towards her residence, he heard hurried footsteps at the corner of the street.
He looked up and saw Cheng Qingyuan bringing the blind girl Fang Chiyue. He looked panicked and seemed to be avoiding something.

He led his men around the edge of the town but failed to find any trace of Fang Qingyue.
His anxiety grew, and several of his men also showed uneasy expressions. The darkness around them was like a huge net, trapping them.
Fang Chiyue was anxious and sensed Li Chengfeng's confusion. She immediately said, "Master Li, we can't wait any longer."
Li Chengfeng's heart tightened. He turned around and looked at her, his brow furrowed. "But my forces are everywhere, and I haven't found a single person. Could she really be hidden so well?"
Fang Chiyue felt vaguely uneasy about Shen Yuhan's identity.
If Li Chengfeng knew about her relationship with Fang Qingyue, it would probably cause even greater trouble.
"I have to go to Shen Yuhan for help."
Li Chengfeng gritted his teeth and said firmly, "If we delay any longer, something bad might happen."
"No!" Fang Chiyue interrupted immediately, with a look of urgency on her face.

She knew that this was the best option.
The three of them hurried along the path, passing through the back alleys of the town. In the darkness of the night, a ray of moonlight shone through the treetops, dimly illuminating their way.
Li Chengfeng was anxious, and Fang Qingyue's face kept appearing in his mind. Her gentle yet firm eyes were like a sharp sword, piercing his heart.
"We're almost there." Li Chengfeng said to Fang Chiyue. Although his tone seemed hurried, his heart was firm.
Entering Shen Yuhan's mansion, Li Chengfeng took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
The door slowly opened, and the guards looked at them coldly. Li Chengfeng pondered in his heart and walked in quickly, feeling a little bit of anticipation for Shen Yuhan.
When he found Shen Yuhan, he saw him sitting in the study, holding a book in his hands. His face was calm, and he seemed not to be disturbed by the things happening in the outside world.
Li Chengfeng stepped forward, saluted respectfully, and then said: "General Shen, my sweetheart has been kidnapped, and I need your help."
Shen Yuhan raised his head slightly, his eyes indifferent, as if he didn't care: "How was she caught?"
Li Chengfeng's heart sank, and he immediately explained what had happened. However, Shen Yuhan's expression remained indifferent, as if he didn't care much about Fang Qingyue's safety. "Go find her yourself."
"But the situation is critical now!" Li Chengfeng said urgently, a hint of anxiety in his voice, "If we don't act quickly, someone might die!"
"I told you to go find it yourself."
Shen Yuhan responded indifferently, but his eyes wandered over the scroll, and he didn't seem to really care about Li Chengfeng's predicament.
Li Chengfeng was burning with anger, but he didn't know how to vent it.
At this time, Cheng Qingyuan was standing aside. When he heard this, his expression changed slightly and he hurriedly said, "General Shen, I beg you to help me! My father is Doctor Cheng!"

He thought to himself, Fang Chiyue?
