Chapter 133: Enemy Besieged

The man's face was covered with a black cloth, revealing only a pair of cold eyes. He looked strange and dangerous.

His appearance made Fang Qingyue realize instantly that she was being targeted.

"Who are you?" Fang Qingyue asked coldly, and quickly reached into her sleeve with her right hand, grasping a small knife she carried with her. The blade flickered coldly in the night.

The man in black did not answer, but his eyes revealed a fierce murderous intent, and it was obvious that the other party had no good intentions.

When Fang Qingyue saw that the other party had no intention of speaking, she knew that a fierce fight today was inevitable.

Instead of retreating, she advanced, the knife in her hand pointing directly at the man in black, her eyes firm and fearless.

"If you don't retreat, I won't be polite."

Fang Qingyue threatened in a low voice, and the tip of the knife trembled slightly, making a faint sound of metal collision.

The man in black obviously didn't expect the woman in front of him to be so calm. He was stunned for a moment, but quickly regained his cold expression.

His steps were light and swift, and he approached Fang Qingyue without hesitation, obviously intending to strike first.

Fang Qingyue thought to herself that something was wrong. She knew that if she got entangled here, all her subsequent plans would fail.

She quickly stepped back, trying to keep some distance, while constantly waving her knife to prevent the other party from getting closer.

The man in black was agile and was forced back by Fang Qingyue's sword light after several attempts, but he still refused to give up, obviously he was well-trained.

Just as Fang Qingyue was gradually feeling exhausted and the situation was urgent, she suddenly heard a sharp sound of breaking wind coming from the other end of the alley.

She was delighted, knowing that reinforcements had arrived, and she swung the knife in her hand more resolutely to buy more time.

As expected, the next moment, a black shadow quickly pounced on the man in black, and the two instantly engaged in combat. Fang Qingyue looked closely and saw that it was Shen Yuhan.

There was a cold murderous look in his eyes, and the long sword in his hand danced like the wind, and he started a fierce duel with the man in black.

Shen Yuhan's swordsmanship was sharp, and each sword strike was aimed directly at the vital points of the man in black.

He had obviously seen that the other party was very skilled, so he did not dare to be careless and gave it his all.

The man in black was not to be outdone. With his agile skills, he narrowly avoided Shen Yuhan's fatal attacks several times.

The alley was thick with murderous intent. Shen Yuhan's sword flashed like lightning, piercing the silence of the night. He clashed fiercely with the man in black, the clang of swords clashing and stirring up gusts of cold wind. Fang Qingyue watched all this nervously, her knife still tightly gripped in her hand, but she knew that Shen Yuhan's presence had given her the greatest protection.

After a series of fierce fights, the man in black gradually lost the upper hand.

His movements became hurried, and each move was a bit flustered. It was obvious that he had realized that it was difficult for him to win.

Shen Yuhan's sword followed him like a shadow, forcing him to retreat again and again, and he was almost cut by the sword tip several times.

A hint of ruthlessness flashed in the black-clothed man's eyes, and he was obviously unwilling to surrender.

Suddenly, he made a swift fake move, and taking advantage of Shen Yuhan's brief gap, he turned around abruptly and rushed towards Fang Qingyue, his eyes full of murderous intent.

He obviously wanted to capture Fang Qingyue and use her as a hostage to force Shen Yuhan to retreat.

Fang Qingyue instantly felt a strong sense of oppression and her heartbeat suddenly accelerated.

But she did not panic. She swung the knife in her hand quickly, trying to resist the attack of the man in black.

However, the man in black was extremely fast, and the knife was about to fall on her.

At this critical moment, Shen Yuhan shouted coldly, the long sword turned rapidly, and swiftly grabbed the wrist of the man in black.

His strength was so great that he broke the black-clad man's wrist holding the knife with a sharp sound of bone breaking.

The man in black felt pain and the sharp blade in his hand slipped out and stuck into the ground.

Immediately afterwards, Shen Yuhan slapped out with his palm, hitting the man in black in the chest.

The man in black's body shook violently, and he was knocked backwards, falling heavily to the ground with a dull thud.

Before he could get up, a metal token suddenly fell from his body, making a crisp sound on the ground.

The token was completely black and engraved with intricate patterns, looking extremely delicate.

Fang Qingyue's sharp eyes immediately noticed the token. She quickly leaned over to pick it up, and after a quick glance, she discovered that the patterns on it were very unique, and did not seem to be a common style in the Central Plains.

Seeing this, the man in black had a flash of fear in his eyes.

He obviously knew the importance of this token. If Shen Yuhan discovered it, the consequences would be disastrous.

He endured the severe pain in his chest, quickly took out a handful of powder from his sleeve, and sprinkled it into the air.

Suddenly, smoke filled the air and the alley was instantly shrouded in a pungent smell.

Shen Yuhan reacted immediately, quickly stepped back, and swung his sword to block the oncoming powder.

Fang Qingyue also quickly covered her mouth and nose with her sleeves and took a few steps back.

When the smoke gradually dissipated, the man in black had already taken the opportunity to disappear into the night. Only the token with exotic patterns lay quietly on the ground, emitting a cold luster.

Fang Qingyue looked around nervously, and only breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that the man in black had escaped.

She picked up the token and handed it to Shen Yuhan: "Yuhan, this token looks very unusual. It doesn't seem to be from the Central Plains."

Shen Yuhan took the token and looked at it carefully with a serious gaze.

The patterns on the token are complex and unique, and are indeed not common patterns in the Central Plains.

Shen Yuhan frowned slightly, and had a guess in his mind: "This is a token from a country in the Western Regions. These patterns can only be used by their nobles. It seems that this matter is indeed involved with foreign forces."

Fang Qingyue's heart trembled, realizing the seriousness of the matter.
