Madam Gu was talking to the guests at the moment, while she was being settled to rest.
She had been in such a rush when she arrived at the Gu residence last time that she hadn't had a chance to meet with Madam Gu.
During their first meeting, her attitude showed that she welcomed him.
She still planned to inform Qingheyuan of her invitation.
Just as she was about to get up and walk towards her, the maid immediately stopped her.
"Miss, you don't know, there's a misunderstanding between Madam and Young Madam. If Madam finds out you're going to Qinghe Courtyard, she definitely won't agree."
“My young mistress lost her father a few days ago and has no desire to argue with her.”
"I hope you can understand, Miss."
Looking at the maid's flushed face, Wei Wei couldn't help but smile: "Since the young mistress doesn't want the madam to know, we'll just leave quietly."
After saying that, she actually walked out without hesitation. The maid didn't expect Wei Wei to leave so decisively, so she quickly chased after her from behind: "Miss, please come with me."

The two were walking on a road where there were no other pedestrians in sight.
Although Madam Gu didn't accomplish much in the household, she was quite adept at scouting.
After walking for quite a while, we didn't encounter a single person.
As the area became increasingly remote, Wei Wei frowned: "Are you sure this is the way to Qinghe Courtyard?"
The maidservant stiffened slightly upon hearing her question.
She seemed afraid to turn around, but she had no choice but to turn around and explain.
"Miss is not familiar with anything in the manor yet. She will know the way once she gets used to it."
"The young mistress simply wishes to meet with you quietly, after all, there was a misunderstanding between us last time..."
Having said that, she dared not continue, but urged, "Miss, if you walk a little faster, you will be out of this grove, and you will reach the back gate of Qinghe Courtyard in no time."
Wei Wei then stopped asking.
She even quickened her pace and walked alongside the maid.

After saying that, he turned around and tried to leave.

"What if I get lost?"
"You'd better come with me."
The maidservant's eyes were wide open, her voice filled with anxiety: "No, no, this servant really has things to do. If Madam finds out I'm slacking off, I'll be beaten to death!"
Wei Wei comforted her, saying, "Madam won't scold you. You've worked so hard; she has no choice but to reward you." After saying that, she forcefully pulled her towards the artificial hill.
Even though the maid resisted with all her might, she was no match for Wei Wei's strength.
As they turned past the artificial hill, they saw a dark figure rushing towards them!
Wei Wei reacted quickly and pushed the maid forward.
She screamed in terror as someone held her tightly in their arms!
"My beauty! You've arrived... I've been waiting for you for so long!"
The man appeared to be one of the guests at the Gu residence.
All I could smell was a strong odor of alcohol, and his face was suspiciously red.
He took a deep sniff of the maid and revealed a look of ecstasy.
Then his hands began to grope the maid's collar, and it was clear that it was about to come loose.
Her face was filled with terror as she watched Wei Wei stand expressionlessly to the side, then cried and begged her to save her life.
Wei Wei tilted her head: "That little maid is shameless. It's one thing to have an affair with a man in the Gu residence, but she even makes me watch over her."
"Do you have some secret that you don't want others to know?"
Upon hearing this, the maid's face showed even greater despair. She couldn't escape; her entire body was about to be touched.
"It's all my fault! Miss, please save me!"
Wei Wei smiled and said, "Save you? Aren't you enjoying it?"
"Once you've finished your good deeds, you'll be willing to die for it."
Wei Wei's words made the maid tremble even more: "No, no, no! That's not how it is! This person wasn't brought by me! It was the young mistress! The young mistress wanted to harm Miss!"
"I was forced into this! If I didn't agree, I would lose my life!"
"Please save me! I promise I'll never do it again!"
Wei Wei scoffed, "That's just wishful thinking."
"Since you've made the choice, bear the consequences... unless you have even greater value!"
What could be of greater value? In the impoverished mind of this maid, there was only one thought.
That means dragging the person who instigated her down with her!
"Miss, please let me go... I'll bring the young mistress here! Really! I'll bring the young mistress here so you can vent your anger!"
Wei Wei smiled with great satisfaction.
She glanced at Leng Pusheng, who had been following them all the way, and Leng Pusheng jumped down from the tree.
Then he swiftly pulled the man off the maid.
The man seemed to be somewhat delirious. Seeing the maid crawling away to the side, he immediately thought of chasing after her.
