She didn't reply, but instead raised her hand and waved it lightly, her face full of disgust: "Where did this dog come from? Its barking is really awful."
Having said that, amidst their instantly changed expressions, he said lightly, "Could it be that you can't get used to good food and are instead thinking of eating shit?"
"Wei! Who are you cursing?!"
Wei Wei chuckled softly: "Can't you tell?"
Ma Bao's face contorted with anger, and he was panting heavily as he prepared to attack.
He cursed and yelled, "You damned slut, your uncle will teach you what to say and what not to say!"
He stormed over to Wei Wei in a fit of rage.
Wei Wei didn't move. A figure flashed in the corner and then appeared in front of Ma Bao.
He moved his arm, stirring up a stench-filled breeze.
A scream rang out, and Ma Bao collapsed to the ground.
A finger fell to the ground, splattering blood everywhere.
Anger can turn into fear in the blink of an eye.
He fell to the ground, shrinking back in fear.
Madam Hu rushed up and blocked the path of the terrified Ma Bao, her fierce expression barely concealing her fear: "What do you want to do? My husband is the old lady's own brother!"
Little Yue'er sneered from the side: "Even if you're the old lady's mother, it's useless!"
"You really think we're afraid of you?"
Despite her trembling lips, Madam Hu continued to put on a brave front. She stared intently at Wei Wei and shrieked, "Wei, get that man with the knife away! If the prefect finds out you've hurt us, he'll never let you get away with this!"
Wei Wei frowned and asked, "Could you be his parents? Why do you keep mentioning him?"
"That fat and ugly thing is just as disgusting to think about as you are."
Ma Bao and Madam Hu were stunned when they heard this!
Seeing her dismissive expression, I finally understood.
All the things I did at the yamen today were just to deceive them!
They thought Wei Wei was genuinely afraid of the prefect, but they didn't realize she was just teasing them!
Thinking of this, they felt dizzy and wished they could faint immediately!
Hu reacted quickly; seeing Leng Pusheng, who looked like a god of death, she crawled to Wei Wei's feet and begged for mercy.
"We were wrong... We shouldn't have been so complacent... We shouldn't have broken the vase..."
"If you spare us, we'll definitely go far away..."
Wei Wei ignored them and turned to the two maids: "Tie them up, it's a headache to watch them crawling around."
The two maids readily agreed, and with Leng Pusheng's help, they tied the person up tightly and threw them into a heap.
Blood was still gushing from Ma Bao's hand. His pitiful appearance made it impossible to imagine how arrogant he had just been.
His pitiful state of mind, however, could not move those he had insulted.
Wei Wei asked him expressionlessly, "Now you can tell me, who allowed you to come to the Meng residence?"
Upon hearing this, a look of panic flashed in the eyes of both of them, but they both shook their heads at the same time.
Ma Bao answered tremblingly, "Granddaughter-in-law... I just came to see my sister... really... really no one asked me to come here!"
Madam Hu nodded haphazardly, "That's right, that's right, we just wanted to come and take care of you, young mistress! We meant well!"
"And...and everything before was just a misunderstanding. We hope that the young mistress will be magnanimous and not hold it against us two ignorant country bumpkins!"
It's so noisy and annoying.
Wei Wei looked at them with a cold smile and said, "Your mouths are tight, but let me see just how tight they are."
"Little Yue'er and Little Qiao'er, go up and slap each of them twenty times as a reward."
The two women's eyes lit up when they heard this. The insults they had just received were still ringing in their ears, and now karma had come back to bite them.
He didn't mind that they were dirty. He looked at each other, took a deep breath, and then raised his hand to slap them one after another across the face.
A scream rang out, and within moments both faces were red and swollen.
Unable to escape and daring not to complain about Wei Wei and her group, they started fighting like dogs.
Mrs. Hu wailed and cursed, "It's all your fault! It's all your fault! We were perfectly fine at home..."
Ma Bao, his face pale, retorted, "If you're so capable, why didn't you come out with me! You were like a greedy stray dog when you were enjoying yourself, and now you're blaming me?!"
They attacked each other fiercely; had they not already been tied up, they might have already started fighting.
Wei Wei, however, showed little interest in their dogfighting and instead inquired about the two maids' hands with concern: "Did you hurt your hands?"
Xiao Yue'er said in a serious tone, "Reporting to Miss, although my palms hurt a little, I feel very happy."
She nudged Xiaoqiao'er again and asked, "What do you think?"
Xiao Qiao smiled, pursing her lips: "I also feel very happy."
"I didn't know that before. So Miss fed these two things so they would be ready to be slaughtered. I heard from others that the last meal in the prison is like this."
"It's just a waste of this delicious food and money; they don't deserve it at all!"
His words made the two people, who were already terrified, feel even more grief-stricken, and their faces turned faintly blue.
Her body trembled uncontrollably, and when she reached the brink of collapse, she burst into tears like a child.
Snot and tears streamed down his face.
Wei Wei was getting annoyed, and her voice turned cold: "Uncle and Aunt, it's true that you have a lot of energy when you're full. Even your crying is so powerful."
“If you were filial, you could cry in the main hall right now, and maybe the old lady could save your lives—what a pity.”
“You are so heartless.”
"Crying in front of me now will only bring bad luck."
After saying that, she ordered without any mercy, "Little Qiao'er, your embroidery skills are quite good, why don't you go and get a needle and sew their mouths shut for me!"
"There's no point in keeping it anyway, it's better to get rid of it."
Xiao Qiao'er happily agreed, as she had actually been prepared for it for some time.
When the embroidery needle, almost as long as a finger, was placed on the table, the two people's pupils constricted. They couldn't escape, they couldn't move, and the stench of urine gradually filled the entire room.
They lost control of their bladders!
Wei Wei frowned and covered her nose with her hand: "This courtyard is dirty. After we kill them, we need to have it cleaned up."
After saying that, she stood up without hesitation and walked out. Seeing that she was about to disappear, Ma Bao and the other person who were lying on the ground dared not delay any longer.
They prostrated themselves on the ground, weeping and shouting, "Young Madam, we know we were wrong! Young Madam, please stay! We're willing to tell you everything!"
Wei Wei paused for a moment before speaking again: "Take the two of them to the next room."
