He looked at her unusually bewildered and pitiful expression and softened his gaze: "Don't be afraid, I'll be fine."
Wei Wei's face flushed uncontrollably.

After the lamp was lit, the soft light shone on Wei Wei's face. Her slightly furrowed brows and jade-like features captivated Jiang Yu, who was staring at her through the mask.
She disregarded her identity as an assassin and devoted herself wholeheartedly to saving him.
Does she not dislike herself in her heart?
While he was still in a daze, Wei Wei had already turned back and asked him, "Leave the next step to me."
Sweat beaded on her nose, a look of unprecedented endearment on her face.
Jiang Yu's eyes darkened, and he couldn't help but swallow.
This aggravated the injury on his shoulder, causing him to grimace.
Wei Wei assumed he had fainted again because she didn't hear his reply.
Anxiety returned to her face; not being able to observe his current state was truly agonizing.
