Chapter 84 Third Uncle, may I park my motorcycle at the gate?

The two packed up their things and left the hotel where they had stayed for three days.

Sitting in the back seat, Zhou Ping, carrying a bag, pressed himself tightly against Shang Yan. His strong arms were wrapped tightly around Shang Yan's waist. The wind was whistling and hot in their ears. Ahead lay a long asphalt road that seemed to stretch on forever.

Look up and you'll see the azure sky...

Shang Yan drove very fast. He was impulsive and had a strong sense of execution. After buying the motorcycle, he insisted on riding it home with Zhou Ping.

Because he was wearing a helmet, he couldn't lower his head to rub against Shang Yan, so Zhou Ping silently tightened his grip on Shang Yan's waist.

"Ugh... Zhou Ping!" Realizing the person pressed tightly against him from behind had suddenly tightened their grip, Shang Yan thought the car was going too fast. He slowed down and turned around. "Don't worry, I definitely won't throw you off!"

His voice was loud, even drowning out the whistling wind in my ears, and listening to his clear voice made me feel exceptionally at ease.

Zhou Ping's dark eyes were very bright. He gave a soft "hmm" and then comfortably held Shang Yan in the back seat.

You don't need to imagine much to know what kind of expression the person sitting in front must have—it must be radiant.

With a thud, a small yellow ball appeared in front of Zhou Ping.

"Evil two-legged creatures and green-haired monsters!" 019 sneered, arms crossed, the whistling wind making its yellow fur ripple.

Zhou Ping glanced at it silently. The entire ball was now yellow, even its lined arms and legs were tinged with yellow.

"I've come to bring you something," 019 whispered in Zhou Ping's ear.

After saying that, it placed a necklace with a white crystal in Zhou Ping's hand, "Anyway, this thing is useless to me, so I'll give it to you."

019 gets annoyed whenever he sees Shang Yan, that green-haired monster, so he throws out the memory crystal, which happens to be thrown to Zhou Ping.

Zhou Ping released his grip on Shang Yan and took the necklace that 019 handed him with his right hand.

After giving the items, 019 disappeared with a bang.

After putting the crystal in his pocket, Zhou Ping silently placed his hand on Shang Yan's waist.

It took them several hours to get home, and they didn't arrive until it was dark.

Don't underestimate the distance between Shangjing City and Xijin City. Shang Yan is already considered to be driving very fast, and with his good luck, there was no traffic jam at all.

At 7 p.m., the local specialty restaurant was preparing to close.

There haven't been many customers these past few days, so my third uncle closes the shop early when there's no one around.

However, while packing his things today, my third uncle couldn't help but wonder, "Hey, wasn't Zhou Ping accompanying Shang Yan to take the college entrance exam in Beijing? I remember he said he'd be back today..."

Did the two of them come back so late?

The sound of a motorcycle starting up, accompanied by a DJ song, came from the street. My third uncle didn't pay much attention and even hummed along.

After humming a couple of times, he couldn't resist adding, "Those traitors around here are making a ruckus again late at night..."

When the flashy motorcycle with its headlights flashing and DJ music playing stopped in front of his family's local restaurant, Uncle San's eyes twitched.

He threw the rag on the table and walked towards the door, "We're closed for today..."

The first thing you see is a boy with green hair. His light green hair is so fashionable and eye-catching. I don't know what kind of dye he used, but even in the dark, it is still so green that you can see it at a glance.

When the third uncle saw the face of the boy riding the motorcycle, he fell silent as he walked to the door.

Zhou Ping peeked out from behind Shang Yan. He first released his hand from Shang Yan's waist, and then got out of the car.

When he saw Zhou Ping peek out from behind Shang Yan with green hair, Third Uncle's face was already numb.

"You're back?" Third Uncle gave an awkward but polite smile. He wanted to say something to Shang Yan, but when he thought about not speaking harshly to this little shark, he immediately turned to look at Zhou Ping.

"Hmm," Zhou Ping nodded silently.

Shang Yan got out of the car naturally, smiled brightly, revealing a set of big white teeth, "Third Uncle, good evening!"

"Look how cool my new motorcycle is! I hope nothing will happen if I park it in front of your house?"

"I took Zhou Ping for a drive all afternoon today!" Shang Yan said with a smile as he stepped forward to speak to his third uncle.

Third Uncle glanced at his dazzling green hair and couldn't help but ask, "You dyed your hair? Why did you suddenly dye it so unusual?"

"I guess you could say it's dyed," Shang Yan said, scratching his head sheepishly. He seemed a little awkward when his green hair was mentioned. "Does it look good...?"

That was a question asked without much confidence.

Third Uncle: ...

Uncle San remained silent for a while, but he still couldn't bring himself to say that the shockingly green hair was beautiful. However, he still praised her, "Xiao Yan, you're quite good-looking. Uncle San thinks you're pretty good too!"

Surprisingly, the hair actually looked quite good. Hearing the compliment, Shang Yan regained his confidence.

He was even overjoyed, saying, "That's great! I'll be wearing a green head from now on!"

"If all the green ones look this good, then I'll try something else..."

Upon hearing this, Zhou Ping quickly tugged at his third uncle's hand, then turned to Shang Yan and coaxed, "Yan Yan, it looks good, but dyeing your hair is too damaging. How about we don't dye it?"

"Oh..." After hearing what he said, Shang Yan pushed open the door and walked into the local restaurant.

"Xiao Yan, go and rest first. Your third uncle and Zhou Ping have something to discuss." The third uncle waved to Shang Yan.

After watching Shang Yan go upstairs and carry the car to the second floor, Third Uncle pulled Zhou Ping to stand outside the door and asked, "Didn't you say you were going to take the college entrance exam? Why did you dye your hair green? And you bought a... motorcycle?"

Thinking of Shang Yan's green hair, the expression on Third Uncle's face was indescribable.

Zhou Ping stood still and answered each question one by one, "I participated. These were all done after the event, and Shang Yan bought them all."

"Why didn't you keep an eye on him? What if he goes astray?" Uncle scolded. "Isn't this the kind of car that those local thugs always drive?"

Although it looks to be of much better quality than the ones he has seen before.

"Keep a close eye on Shangyan," the third uncle instructed worriedly.

Shang Yan's condition has improved a lot in the past few years. He doesn't get sick as often now. Except for being a little abstract sometimes, he is usually very well-behaved.

He helps out at the local restaurant, and his uncle buys him gifts during holidays. He's such a good boy, and his third uncle already treats Shangyan like his own child.

We can't let Shangyan go astray!

Zhou Ping nodded heavily. "I will keep an eye on him. By the way, Third Uncle, Shang Yan and I are planning to open a bookstore."
