Chapter 69 Whatever style you like, I'll make it!

“He is a human being now, he wasn’t before, and he never will be,” 019 said, speaking as if it were a tongue twister.

Zhou Ping understood.

He stopped asking questions, turned around, opened the balcony door, and walked to the bedside.

019 followed behind him, silently lighting a candle for Zhou Ping. [It's bad enough that his lover isn't human, but he's also an abstract thinker; how tragic.]

However, since it's not human, 019 flew to Shang Yan's face and poked his cheek, "What do you think Shang Yan's true form is?"

It was incredibly curious.

Zhou Ping glanced at 019 in surprise, then reached out and took Shang Yan's hand, sitting quietly by the bed watching him sleep.

"I don't know," but whatever Shang Yan is, he won't mind or break up with him.

Given that 019 had been constantly nagging Shang Yan to break up with him, Zhou Ping was now being extremely cautious.

He and Shang Yan have only been dating for a few months, they're in the honeymoon phase, how could they possibly break up!

Don't even think about it.

When Shang Yan woke up, Zhou Ping was already gone.

He rubbed his eyes, looking a little confused. "I think I was dreaming. Zhou Ping came by?"

“Yeah, he stared at you while you were sleeping for half an hour,” 019 chimed in.

"Let's go, to class." Today is the last day, and the school is preparing to give them a holiday. Shang Yan picked up the suitcase he had prepared earlier and walked towards the classroom.

...

In the afternoon, after checking into a hotel near Peking University, he felt something was off.

"019, do you have a feeling?"

019 didn't feel anything; it was just happily looking at the book it had bought with Shang Yan's money.

Upon hearing Shang Yan's question, 019 lazily replied with a single word, "Huh?"

"Why do I feel like I've been here before?" Shang Yan skillfully drew the curtains and closed the door.

In some ways, his feeling was not wrong.

Shang Yan had indeed been here, but he didn't remember because of the time travel.

019 didn't remember either. It sat on the bed reading a book, saying, "You're overthinking it. How come I don't remember?"

Shang Yan shook his head, deciding to stop thinking about it.

[I've accumulated enough energy, are you coming or not?] 019 put the book into its system space and flew to Shang Yan's side.

"[Call in!]" Shang Yan answered and lay down on the bed.

An hour later, Shang Yan lay limply on the bed, his clothes soaked with cold sweat.

"No, it's still a little short." Shang Yan sighed softly as he weakly sat up, his trembling hand gripping the sheets.

The curtains were suddenly pulled open, and a gentle breeze blew in. The breeze was cool, and he unconsciously shivered before closing the window.

In the evening, after finishing his class, Zhou Ping arrived at the hotel and saw Shang Yan lying on the bed after taking a shower.

He waved the noodles he was holding, stepped forward and called out to Shang Yan, "I brought dinner, come and eat."

"Have you eaten?" Shang Yan got out of bed and walked to Zhou Ping.

"I've already eaten. This is for you," Zhou Ping said, pushing the noodles towards him.

Shang Yan reached out and touched Zhou Ping's belly. After finding that it was indeed a little bigger than usual, he turned around and went to eat his noodles with relief.

Zhou Ping was already used to his actions, while Shang Yan always seemed worried that he wouldn't eat.

"I bought three scratch-off lottery tickets yesterday and won three thousand," Shang Yan said while eating. "I'll buy some gifts to visit your third uncle when I go back. Is there anything your third uncle would like?"

I never expected Shang Yan to be so lucky...

“Then let’s set a time, I’ll go to my house first and then yours.” Zhou Ping calculated the money he had saved. He had worked part-time since he started school, plus his scholarships… it was enough to buy some gifts for his visit.

"Okay," Shang Yan said, having finished eating. He squinted his eyes with a satisfied look.

Zhou Ping stood up and stood behind him, then bent down and gently pulled him into his arms.

Shang Yan squinted and looked up at him, his smiling eyes clearly reflecting Zhou Ping's image.

The young man, who was looking down at someone, had his somewhat disheveled black hair tied up, and his dark eyes looked particularly bright. When he saw Shang Yan looking at him with a smile, he pursed his lips, and his ears turned red.

"Zhou Ping, your hair is a bit long," Shang Yan said, reaching out a hand that barely touched Zhou Ping's shoulder, not quite reaching his hair.

Seeing this, Zhou Ping lowered his body further, and Shang Yan reached out and touched his hair. "Let me braid your hair!"

“…Okay.” Seeing Shang Yan’s enthusiasm, Zhou Ping obediently sat down next to him and let him do as he pleased.

While taking Zhou Ping's hair down from its bun, Shang Yan carefully braided it, saying incessantly, "Let me tell you, this is my exclusive skill. I've been good at braiding small braids since I was a kid."

"I even thought I'd grow my hair a little longer and braid it myself! Then I'd dye the ends blonde..." he rambled on, his hands moving swiftly. He quickly braided a small braid for Zhou Ping, and then conjured a white flower to wear at the end of her hair.

Shang Yan pulled a mirror out of his suitcase and held it up to Zhou Ping. "Look, isn't it beautiful!"

Zhou Ping looked at the braided pigtail that was slightly upturned, and the white flower on it looked particularly delicate.

A slender hand touched the flower, and a smile appeared on his lips. "It's very beautiful. What kind of flower is this?"

"The rose of Sharon, this is a new skill I've recently discovered."

"As long as I'm here, this flower will never wither. Look at the one you're wearing, it's a real flower, it will never wither, it's one of a kind in the world!"

Shang Yan smiled brightly at Zhou Ping, then lowered his head and kissed the end of his hair.

He said proudly, "As for why it's unique, only I can ensure this flower never fades, and I will only give it to you!"

That means it's one of a kind!

After Shang Yan's strength reached the peak of the Sea Realm, many of his skills were unlocked.

Zhou Ping reached out and touched the small rosebud at the end of his hair, a faint smile curving his lips. "I like it very much."

"Hehehe... I'm glad you like it, my wife." Shang Yan hugged Zhou Ping, who was sitting at the table, from behind and rested his chin on the top of Zhou Ping's head. "Hehe... You're usually too tall, so let me hug you like this for a while."

After saying that, Shang Yan turned his head and nuzzled Zhou Ping's face. "Let me tell you, I can do a lot of different hairstyles, you'll definitely like them!"

"I know all the hairstyles of the heroes in novels."

"Where did you learn that?" Zhou Ping asked quietly.

Shang Yan smiled confidently, "I was born with this skill."
