Another World: Taking the Male Supporting Character to Farm (30)

Han had been picking flowers normally a little over a day ago, but for some reason, the more frequently he went, the more confused he became.

During his last harvest, he encountered two high-level leopard beasts, and although Han was clearly victorious, he was also seriously injured.

Even as he lay dying, he hadn't forgotten his mission to bring the "antidote" to his people, so he descended into the crevice of the earth, only to lose consciousness thereafter.

He felt a burning heat throughout his body, a violent, frenzied feeling filling him. He frantically searched for something, but in this vast forest, there were too many things blocking his way. He fought, got injured, and recovered thanks to the self-healing ability of the beast spirit people, and then fell into another search.

Just as he was on the verge of completely losing his mind, he smelled an alluring sweet fragrance in the air, and he felt that he had found what he had been looking for all along.

That smell drove him crazy.

Everything that stood in his way was smashed to pieces; he even bit through a tree that would take ten people to encircle. Just as his claws were about to strike the rival who dared to steal his mate, he suddenly felt a sharp pain on his back, and his entire wolf body was lifted into the air.

"Roar!" The huge snow wolf roared, turning around to bite at the damned giant eagle.

The two giant beasts plummeted from the sky into the dense forest and began to fight, each with the urge to kill the other.

Rui ran several hundred meters before daring to look back. He was panting heavily, still feeling lingering fear. He felt like he was about to be smashed into a meat patty.

A gust of cold wind made Xia Yixin shiver. She was drenched in cold sweat. She looked back at the mess behind her, still shaken.

The tall tree shadows obscured the two figures locked in combat, making it impossible for her to see who Han was fighting. However, she could vaguely sense that their beast spirit power was no less than Han's, indicating that Han was also a mid-level peak expert.

Xia Yixin felt that the person looked familiar. She really wanted to go and verify if it was the person she had guessed, but now, delaying even a minute could harm two people.

She patted Rui and said solemnly, "I suspect that Han has been poisoned by a plant called the Ghost Flower. It can cause hallucinations and paralyze people's senses. We must go to the place where he came out and take a look. There must be fire ants nearby that can cure the poison, otherwise even if Han is defeated, he will not be able to wake up."

"Okay, hold on tight." Rui turned around and ran towards the depths of the forest where Han had emerged, just as she had instructed.

The trees along the way were damaged, some even broken off at the roots, and there were paw prints left by snow wolves and bloodstains from who-knows-who, leaving the place in a mess.

Because they were entangled by the cold, they reached the crevice without difficulty.

It was a huge, horizontally oriented, downward-facing T-shaped crater located beneath a black stone mountain. The underground fissure was so deep that one could not see one's own fingers. It was a gap between two continental plates, and a strange fragrance wafted from it.

It really does smell like the elusive flower!

It turns out that those tribesmen weren't cured at all, but rather hypnotized into believing they were cured. Fortunately, the dosage wasn't high, otherwise, if she had arrived later, she would have only seen a pack of crazed beasts.

There were still signs of a struggle around, indicating that Han had fought with the giant tiger beast here first.

The huge cave entrance had been breached, and loose rocks were constantly falling from the rocky mountain, posing a risk of collapse at any moment. Xia Yixin left Rui outside and ran in lightly dressed.

Along the way, loose rocks kept falling, and even the slightest movement could trigger a landslide, burying her completely.

The closer you get to the bottom of the pit, the stronger the scent of the strange flower becomes.

The eerie flower grows on a platform in the middle of a deep pit. Its blue-purple blossoms are exceptionally alluring, each as large as a human face, radiating a bewitching light in the darkness.

This is even more potent than the modern-day Guli Flower; one breath and someone with weak willpower might fall victim.

She took a deep breath at the cave entrance and held it. After landing on the platform, she first collected a few flowers and put them in her storage ring for emergencies. Then she focused on searching for what she was looking for. Sure enough, she found the fire ants running back and forth in the dark mud.

Fire ants are about half the length of an adult's little finger. They are red and black all over. When they bite, it hurts like a bullet. They also secrete formic acid, which paralyzes the body and causes red spots, but it can also cure the poison of the Ghost Flower.

Interestingly, the fire ants' favorite food is also the sap dripping from the variegated flower.

She took out an empty linen strip from her storage ring and picked all the remaining dozen or so blooming Ghostly Flowers, throwing them into the bag. Sure enough, the fire ants crawled into the bag following the temperature change.

There are at least a thousand fire ants here. Xia Yi thought about Han's size and felt that these few thousand fire ants might just be enough.

She had only led half of it inside when the entire cave suddenly began to shake. Gravel rained down on her like a light drizzle. She accidentally inhaled the lingering fragrance of the eerie flowers and immediately felt dizzy.

Oops!

Ignoring the bites, she quickly filled the bag with the remaining fire ants and soil. Soon, her right hand and right arm were covered with red spots of all sizes. The pain, however, brought her confused mind back to its normal state.

She quickly carried the fire ants and the pot together, tied the bag tightly, and climbed up in one breath. Just as she ran out, the entire crack was filled with rubble.

Before she could even stand up straight, she suddenly felt a gust of wind rush towards her, and she was thrown into the bushes behind her.

Almost instantly, the snow wolf that Han had transformed into pounced on the spot where she had just been standing.

His once dark eyes had turned bloodshot, and his body was covered in blood, clearly indicating that he was seriously injured.
