Wang Cheng simply pushed Xia Yixin aside and rushed into the room, trying to find what he had laid, but the entire room was spotless. There wasn't a single man in sight, let alone the medicine.
"Cousin, what are you looking for?" Xia Yixin asked in surprise. Oscars really owed her an award.
Xia Yixin's words made the man, who was frantically searching for things like a dog, turn pale and red.
"It's nothing, Grandpa just received a report that you had some trouble here." Wang Cheng frowned. Could those damned guys have stood him up? He finally managed to get someone to complain when Grandpa Xia was around.
"What could possibly happen to me?" Xia Yixin calmly accepted their scrutiny.
Grandpa Xia was very good at judging people. He saw that Xia Yixin's eyes were clear and he felt that his granddaughter seemed to be quite different from the rumors.
He said calmly, "Girl, I can't control you while you're abroad. But when you come back to China, remember that you belong to the Xia family. If I hadn't stopped the news, the police would be in here right now. Someone reported you for drug use! Do you know how treacherous people can be?"
Grandpa Xia glanced at Wang Cheng, seemingly casually.
Wang Cheng immediately broke out in a cold sweat, feeling guilty, and forced a dry laugh.
"Yes, Grandpa, don't worry. My sister probably doesn't understand these things very well. It's my fault as her younger brother for not reminding her properly."
Actually, he meant that she was immature.
Just as Wang Cheng was about to curry favor, he suddenly heard a haughty female voice.
"Wang Cheng, Grandpa is talking to me. Why are you interrupting?"
Wang Cheng looked at Xia Yixin in shock. Although she was a spoiled princess, she never dared to raise her voice at him. When did she dare to criticize him?
Wang Cheng blushed and said, "Sister, I was wrong."
