StarCraft: Another Future (41)

In reality, the executors were carrying out a clean "purge" plan, and all forces that had sided with V during those dozen or so hours were brought under control.

Sector T is not a region located anywhere on the Allied planet, but rather the name of a satellite located far from the Allied planet.

After the incident, most of the people who were originally in the "special protection area" of the PO Executive Building were sent home, but all those who knew about Qian Dahai's secrets, including the girls who had been on the Eden, were brought here.

Although District T is very large, almost like a small island, it has houses and streets just like those in the Allied countries, and even has a hospital and school, simulating everything a small town should have.

But no matter how similar it may be, it's still just a beautiful prison.

There are 130 people imprisoned in Zone T. They know they have been exiled and may never be able to return to the Allied Nation. Moreover, when news of Qian Dahai's death came, the people imprisoned here cleverly sensed the danger immediately.

Qian Dahai is dead, and their last bit of use is gone. They all know the truth about what happened on the Eden or the ins and outs of Qian Dahai's story. Will Lu Yuan spare their lives for too long?

They could only hope that Lu Yuan would be kind-hearted, that even expulsion would be better than death.

However, as a new batch of enforcers brought increased security and confined all 130 people to their designated housing, a strong sense of unease pervaded District T. Most of the people were powerless to help, as they were either elderly, frail, or women.

There were more than twenty young girls who came out of the Eden and lived in a three-story villa.

Most of them were girls who were abducted by Qian Dahai and his cronies, some even during the year when the R-level gene users rebelled.

They huddled together, trembling, some even bursting into tears, crying, "Why me? Why me! I did nothing wrong, why me!"

The other girls couldn't help but tear up, but among them, only one remained exceptionally calm; she was remarkably beautiful.

If Xia Yixin were here, she would be surprised to learn that the girl who boldly comforted others was the same girl she had spoken to on the Eden before; her name was Lilith.

She was fairly familiar with the enforcers, and she tried to reassure the girls, "The commander-in-chief said he would give us our freedom, he said it! We can accuse Qian Dahai, we are all witnesses!"

Unfortunately, her words had no effect at this point.

Her words were immediately refuted by the crying girl: "Qian Dahai is dead! We're useless! They're not letting us know the news because they're afraid we'll cause trouble. People in the Allied countries probably don't even know we exist!"

Lilith grew anxious. "If the Commander-in-Chief really thinks that way, would we still be alive today? We would have died long ago when that old beast Qian Dahai sent us to the war zone!"

Her words brought some clarity to the dozen or so other girls who had huddled together out of fear. However, at that moment, a burst of rapid gunfire suddenly came from not far away in the darkness.

"Don't kill me! The commander promised us, don't kill me!" A man's shrill voice shattered the surface peace of District T.

Wearing the Executor mech, Chen Zhe drew his gun and scared one person away. He turned around and saw another Executor who had rushed over after hearing the commotion. Amid the other person's loud warning, "Put down your weapons! Do not harm civilians!", he fired again.

At the same time, the entire T-zone system was also completely hacked by V's chip.
