Conflict erupts
Liu Xiangmei got angry when she saw her daughter's shameless attitude and her willingness to meddle in everything. "Is that your business? Go away, don't bother me."
Hey! What's wrong with asking yourself? Everyone knows this, so why can't you ask?
Just as Wang Yao was pouting and complaining in her heart, there was a knock on the door.
Wang Yao walked to the door and asked, "Who is it?"
Liu Xiangqiu's voice came from outside the door, "Is that Yaoyao? I'm your second aunt!"

When Wang Yao opened the door, she saw Liu Xiangqiu and Sun Min. Liu Xiangqiu's clothes were still messy, and there was a scratch on his face. Wang Yao gasped.

It turned out that after Liu Xiangqiu returned from the second-hand market, she waited until the afternoon before Sun Dong came home. She then asked Sun Dong if she could go to the hospital for another check-up, and Sun Dong agreed.
However, when Liu Xiangqiu suggested that Sun Dong should also come along for the inspection, he immediately turned hostile, not only disagreeing but also scolding Liu Xiangqiu.
If Liu Xiangqiu already had some doubts, seeing her husband's reaction now basically confirmed it.
She questioned Sun Dong about why he would try to pin the blame on her when he clearly knew he had a problem.
Sun Dong remained silent, but their argument attracted the attention of Old Lady Sun.
Upon hearing Liu Xiangqiu's words, Old Lady Sun insisted that Liu Xiangqiu was slandering her, saying that Liu Xiangqiu had falsely accused Sun Dong of having problems in order to avoid adopting her nephew and thus control him.
Liu Xiangqiu felt that this old woman was simply unreasonable and utterly illogical. The two started arguing and then came to blows. The scratches on Liu Xiangqiu's face were thanks to the old woman, but he heard that the old woman didn't get anything good out of it either.
After an argument and fight, Liu Xiangqiu ran away from home.

Then I saw Grandma slap Dad hard a few times and scold him:
"Who am I doing this for? Don't I want a peaceful and carefree life? I'm doing it all for you. Ever since Sun Min was born, she hasn't had any more babies, while the woman you married before got pregnant right after remarrying. That woman has been giving birth one after another like a sow all these years, but she's been with you for four or five years and hasn't had a single baby. If I hadn't been telling everyone all these years that it was your wife who ruined her health, do you think you could still hold your head up high?"
After hearing her grandmother's words, Sun Min felt as if she had been struck by lightning. The amount of information was too much for her to process.
Then I saw my father slam the medicine on the table and angrily say, "Why can't I hold my head up? Xiaomin is my daughter. I may not have a son, but it's not like I can't have one. I'll have one someday."
As soon as Dad finished speaking, Grandma snorted coldly, "The old Chinese medicine doctor in the provincial capital examined your pulse and said that Xiaomin was an accident within an accident. Liu Xiangmei spat and said angrily, "That old hag has a pretty good idea. She'll have her nephew adopted into your family, so that when Sun Dong has a son to carry on the family line, all the money you earn will go to that nephew, while you get a bad reputation. What a clever scheme!"
Liu Xiangqiu chimed in, "That's right, that mother and son are just too much of a bully."
Liu Xiangmei asked, "Now that you know, what are your plans? Divorce? Or continue the marriage?"
Liu Xiangqiu is a traditional woman, as can be seen from her obedience to Sun Dong over the years. Upon hearing Liu Xiangmei's question, she replied without hesitation, "Of course we can't get a divorce!!"
Liu Xiangmei was not surprised by her answer and nodded, saying, "If you plan to continue living like this, you have two options. First, you agree to Granny Sun's request and then spend the rest of your life living at the mercy of your mother-in-law and nephew. Xiaomin will probably have to suffer along with you in the future. Are you willing to do that?"
Liu Xiangqiu's tears rolled down again. "Of course I don't want to. Everything that Sun Dong and I have is meant for my children. Why should it be given to his nephew? I absolutely refuse."

Having had a fight at home, brought Sun Min all the way here, and cried for so long, Liu Xiangqiu was immediately tempted by the aroma and put aside his sadness and troubles to focus on eating.
All four of them ate a large bowlful, so full they didn't want to move. Sun Min was the most considerate; she took the initiative to clear the dishes and then took them to the kitchen to wash.
Seeing how diligent her niece was, and then seeing her daughter, whose cheeks were rosy, lounging in the bedroom after eating, her first thought was how adorable her daughter was. Then she straightened her face and said, "Wang Yao, why don't you learn from Xiaomin? Look how capable Xiaomin is."
Wang Yao pretended to be dead.
Seeing that she didn't react, Liu Xiangmei had no choice but to get up and go to the kitchen herself. She couldn't really let Xiaomin work in the kitchen alone. Her daughter was too tired today. She would discipline her tomorrow.
When Liu Xiangmei came to the kitchen, there wasn't much for her to do except help Sun Min pass things around and keep her company.
While washing the dishes, Sun Min said, "Auntie, I've thought of a way to send Grandma to the countryside. Can you give me your opinion?"
