Chapter 102 My mind was completely blank; I had no recollection whatsoever.
Su Niannian felt like she had a very long dream.
In her dream, she heard someone whispering in her ear.
Even the back of one's own hand was dripping with hot liquid.
She didn't know what it was.
I try so hard to open my eyes every time.
However, my eyelids became unusually heavy.
Suppressing Su Niannian's senses, she was forced to wander in a state of chaos.
After an unknown amount of time, the large hand that had been tightly gripping her consciousness finally slowly loosened its grip.
Then, an unfamiliar room filled with the smell of disinfectant suddenly came into her view without warning.
When Rong Qin came in, she saw Lin Wan standing there in a daze.
Her gentle face was tinged with surprise and confusion.
"Ah Wan, what's wrong?" she asked, stepping in with a puzzled look.
The one who answered was a young girl's voice.
Where is this?
Rong Qin's eyes widened slightly, and she looked toward the bedside in disbelief, following the sound.
She burst into tears of joy, wishing she could spin around three times on the spot. Early this morning, her left eyelid suddenly started twitching uncontrollably.
Rong Qin knew something good was about to happen.
"Niannian, you're finally awake." She couldn't help but smile.
Su Niannian glanced at her sideways, her eyes filled with confusion.
"Auntie, do you recognize me? Did I sleep for a long time?" She looked down at her stomach: "Do I have a baby in my belly?"
Her gaze fell on Lin Wan and Rong Qin, her brows furrowing slightly.
Seeing Su Niannian's unusual behavior, Rong Qin immediately realized something was wrong.
"I'll go get the doctor."
She hurriedly uttered those words and then dashed out like a gust of wind.
Lin Wan recovered from her shock and clenched her fingers.
Slow down and walk to her daughter's side.
I wanted to pat my daughter's head, but I was afraid that my abruptness would frighten her.
Hesitated for a moment.
But the missing daughter was right in front of him.
A mother who has longed for her daughter for sixteen years, thinking of her day and night, even dreaming about her.
How can I possibly hold back?
Lin Wan slowly extended her hand.
Just like when she was a child, he gently stroked his daughter's head.
“Yes, Niannian, you’ve been asleep for half a month now,” Lin Wan said. “Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? If so, be sure to tell Auntie.”
Yao Yao is in a condition where she cannot be stimulated.
Lin Wan decided to take things one step at a time regarding Yao Yao's background.
She's waited sixteen years; she won't care about a day or two.
For her.
At this moment, nothing is more important than my daughter waking up safely.
This is a mother's simplest and most sincere wish.
Su Niannian looked up at the gentle aunt in front of her, and for some reason, she saw a hint of sadness in her eyes.
A wave of sadness washed over her.
Is your aunt worried about herself?
Thinking of this, she quickly shook her head: "Auntie, don't worry, I feel fine, I don't feel uncomfortable at all."
Lin Wan smiled gently from the bottom of her heart: "That's so great, Niannian, does your head hurt?"
The gauze on Su Nian's head has been removed. During her coma, the MRI results were all normal.
But Lin Wan was still worried, her heart filled with concern for her daughter.
Upon hearing this, Su Niannian raised her head and touched it. Her hair was still beautiful, and it tickled a little when she touched it.
"It doesn't hurt, Auntie. Can you tell me who I am and why I'm unconscious?"
Lin Wan sat down next to her: "Your name is Su Niannian. You fell and hit your head, which is why you were unconscious for so long."
She didn't want Niannian to remember the terrible experience before she fell into a coma.
Su Niannian had no suspicions and obediently nodded at Lin Wan in front of her. For some reason, she felt a strange sense of closeness to the aunt in front of her.
She remembers nothing.
The world before me felt completely unfamiliar.
A sense of unease welled up inside me.
But seeing the aunt in front of her, she not only didn't feel repulsed, but it also calmed her down.
---
Fu Chenting, dressed in a white coat, stood in front of Su Niannian, carefully examining her wounds.
Suddenly, hurried footsteps echoed in the corridor outside.
One in front of the other.
Immediately afterwards, a shadow fell at the door of the ward.
Su Niannian looked up.
A tall man stood at the door of the room.
He was carrying a black wool coat in his hand, and wearing a white shirt on his upper body, slightly damp from the sweat from his brisk walk, the slightly transparent fabric clinging to his strong chest.
His broad shoulders slumped slightly, and with a gentle movement, there was a hint of barely perceptible stiffness.
The next second, he was panting as he slowly raised his head, his bangs damp with a thin layer of sweat, clinging to his full forehead.
Su Niannian met a pair of deep, dark eyes.
Those eyes were extremely dark, as deep as a bottomless pool.
She paused, then parted her red lips slightly: "Who are you...?"
Gu Yuheng's brain went blank.
As if struck by a heavy blow, the buzzing sound continued to echo in my ears.
She exuded a sense of brokenness.
"Niannian, what are you saying?" he asked cautiously.
Su Niannian pursed her lips: "I asked you who you are?"
Gu Yuheng finally understood why his mother had paused on the phone.
He gazed at Su Niannian's small face through the light streaming into the room.
Those eyes, once so familiar, now held a completely unfamiliar look.
“Son,” Rong Qin hesitated for a moment before saying, “Niannian’s amnesia is only temporary. She will regain her memory soon. You have to hang in there.”
Gu Yuheng turned his head to look at his mother and forced a smile.
"Mom, I'm fine."
He took a step forward and slowly walked up to Su Niannian.
Their eyes met.
In Su Niannian's bewildered gaze.
Gu Yuheng knelt on one knee at her feet, examining her from head to toe to make sure his beloved was unharmed.
He slowly opened his mouth to answer her question.
“Niannian, hello. My name is Gu Yuheng. I work for Gu's Group as president. I am 29 years old, have no bad habits, am your husband, the father of your child, and you are my most beloved wife.”
His tone was gentle, without a trace of impatience.
It was as gentle as a handful of water, slowly flowing into Su Niannian's eardrums.
After the initial shock...
In a very short time, Gu Yuheng managed to compose himself and remain calm.
He is Niannian's husband, and the support she and her child rely on.
So no matter what the circumstances.
He couldn't afford to lose his composure.
Otherwise, the anxiety will be passed on to Niannian.
Su Niannian's probing gaze fell on his face.
She said softly, "But I don't remember any of this. My mind is completely blank; I have no recollection whatsoever..."
