Chapter 106 Where are you taking me?

Chapter 106 Where are you taking me?

"Niannian, what's wrong?"

Gu Yuheng did not receive a response from Su Niannian.

A sense of unease welled up inside me.

He gripped the doorknob, about to step out of the bathroom to check.

"Oh...coming, coming." Su Niannian looked away and quickly replied.

Stepping over the scattered origami cranes wasn't because she was lazy and didn't want to tidy up.

However, things have different priorities, and Gu Yuheng was waiting to answer the phone.

She'll tidy these up when she gets back after she finishes making the call.

A barely perceptible sound came from the direction of the bathroom.

Su Niannian was so focused on handing over the phone that the rustling of her slippers on the carpet drowned out the subtle noise.

And then...

Su Niannian's bunny-patterned slippers just brushed against the edge of the bathroom floor.

A blurry figure flashed behind the frosted glass of the bathroom, and the bathroom door opened in front of her without warning.

Before Su Niannian could react, she bumped right into the person behind the door.

The moment their eyes met.

Both of them paused for a moment.

After a moment of stillness in the air.

Su Niannian glanced down unconsciously out of the corner of her eye, her face instantly turning bright red, and steam rising from her head.

She stammered, "Why...why aren't you wearing clothes..."

Will she get a sty...?

Gu Yuheng remained calm as always, showing no sign of being embarrassed by his current appearance.

A playful smile played on his refined face: "Niannian, have you ever seen anyone take a bath and then get dressed? Tell me about it."

Su Niannian blushed and choked.

It seems like no one is that brain-dead.

She turned her head away, her gaze too shy to find its place.

Gu Yuheng is now a hexagonal warrior; there's nowhere to look good, no matter where he is.

"Here's your phone." She shoved the phone into the man's hand.

With a thud.

I kindly closed the door for him.

He turned and ran away.

Gu Yuheng stared blankly at his heartless wife, pressed his tongue against the roof of his mouth, and answered the phone with a harsh tone.

"Hello."

The project manager on the other end suddenly felt a chill.

It seems like President Gu is in a bad mood right now.

Did he play at the wrong time?

The project manager here is cautiously reporting to the boss.

Meanwhile, Su Niannian went to clean up the mess on the ground.

A thick wool carpet was laid on the ground. She sat down and picked up the pink origami cranes one by one.

By the time she had packed them all into the box, she had just counted to twenty.

"There really are twenty of them. But why does Gu Yuheng, a grown man, act like a girl and like to fold these?"

Su Niannian imagined Gu Yuheng sitting at the table, head down, carefully folding origami cranes.

I couldn't help but shudder.

The scene was too beautiful for her to imagine!

She shook her head, quickly clearing her mind of the inappropriate images.

Then my gaze fell on the yellowed paper, which looked even older and more ancient under the light, as if it had been preserved for many years.

She paused for a moment, and driven by curiosity, her delicate fingertips slowly touched the thin paper.

The white paper, folded twice, slowly unfolded again in front of Su Niannian.

She was taken aback, thinking it was some kind of diary or something.

But unexpectedly, what was drawn on it was a hastily drawn human face.

She tried hard to identify it for a long time, but still couldn't figure out who it depicted; the artist's skill was simply too abstract.

They could almost be described as having a blue face and fangs.

A question arose in her mind: how could such an ugly painting be collected by Gu Yuheng and treasured for so many years?

Is it important?

Footsteps sounded behind me.

Su Niannian looked up and saw Gu Yuheng wearing black silk pajamas, coming out of the bathroom after taking a shower.

She let out a soft "whoosh".

I finally got dressed.

The handsome man stopped in his tracks, his gaze falling on Su Niannian's hands.

"I didn't mean to look at your things," Su Niannian explained carefully. "I just accidentally knocked them to the ground..."

The next moment.

A pair of large hands grasped her small hands, which were frantically trying to put the papers into the box.

"It's alright." Gu Yuheng squatted down in front of her, his eyes showing no sign of anger. "Niannian, feel free to look around."

Su Niannian met his gaze.

Can I ask you a question?

"certainly."

Su Niannian pursed her lips: "Is that a person with a blue face and fangs in the painting?"

Gu Yuheng remained noncommittal: "Yes."

Su Niannian's beautiful almond-shaped eyes were full of curiosity: "Who is that...?"

Gu Yuheng curled his lips into a smile: "It's me."

Su Niannian's eyes widened involuntarily as she looked at him again to confirm.

Gu Yuheng affectionately patted her little head.

"No doubt about it, it's me at twelve years old."

Su Niannian wasn't used to his intimate gestures.

The little head tucked back, like a little rabbit trying to hide in a hole.

"What!" Gu Yuheng pretended to be angry, trying hard to suppress his smile as he said, "You're trying to avoid me."

Su Niannian frowned slightly, looking at him timidly, her eyes brimming with tears.

In a soft voice, she said, "We're not familiar with each other yet, so don't touch my head like that... or I'll touch it until I'm bald."

That pitiful look pierced Gu Yuheng's heart.

I felt sorry for her, but I also wanted to bully her.

A man's desire to conquer, especially a man standing on high, is always the king of the grasslands. All of Gu Yuheng's restraint and self-discipline were just as the beast in his heart was about to break free of its cage.

Eager to try.

His breathing became somewhat erratic.

Su Niannian was unaware of his thoughts and felt that she had spoken a bit too harshly.

After a moment's hesitation, she reached out and cautiously tugged at the man's sleeve.

"Gu Yuheng, don't be angry."

Gu Yuheng thought helplessly.

This little lover is so innocent it's heartbreaking.

He lifted his eyelids and subtly raised the corners of his lips: "I'm not angry, but don't call me Gu Yuheng anymore. How can you call the child's father so formally?"

Su Niannian was at a loss: "Then what should we call him? Old Gu or Little Gu?"

Gu Yuheng sometimes really couldn't understand the little guy's thought process. What kind of names were these?

“You used to call me Aheng, and I really liked hearing Niannian call me that.”

"Okay, Ah Heng."

"Well, it's getting late, shall we go to sleep?"

Su Niannian nodded obediently, and then the man lifted her up in his arms.

She nestled against his firm chest, her little bunny slippers slipping off her feet and causing her pale toes to involuntarily twitch.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Get into bed."
