Chapter 67 Vanished
Zhao Jin looked at Xie Tingyan's nonchalant expression.
He thought his old man would find out.
His prized student was treated like this.
He must not fly to Thailand overnight to interrogate him personally.
Zhao Jin hesitated for a moment and said, "Brother Ting, you know your father's temper. If the teacher finds out, how will you explain it to your dad?"
Xie Tingyan remained expressionless as he reached into the ashtray and stubbed out his cigar.
He stared as the crimson cigarette butt gradually turned to ash.
"When have I ever been afraid of my dad? If you know, you know. It's because that brat Gu Yuheng didn't keep his promise. I'm only happy when he's worried."
Zhao Jin's lips twitched, thinking to himself, "What kind of promise is this, a promise made by children playing house?"
Only Ting-ge's thought process takes this seriously.
“Brother Ting, that’s just kids playing house. Yao Yao is so young, she doesn’t even know what marriage means. Why are you taking it so seriously?”
Xie Tingyan glanced at him, then held up his pen as if to throw it at Zhao Jin.
Zhao Jin quickly dodged his attack by turning to the side: "Brother Ting, I was wrong."
“How can it not count? Yao Yao told Gu Yuheng that she would marry him when she grew up. What did that kid say back then? He promised himself. Now he has actually married another woman behind Yao Yao's back. As her older brother, is it wrong for me to stand up for Yao Yao?”
Last night in the car, he had someone investigate Su Niannian's identity. The moment he learned that she was Gu Yuheng's wife, Xie Tingyan changed his mind and took Su Niannian directly to Thailand.
Xiao Yaoyao will definitely be angry when she finds out that Gu Yuheng married another woman.
As the older brother, he had to teach that brat a lesson on behalf of his younger sister.
Zhao Jin thought to himself, "You're the boss, you're in charge."
"You are not wrong at all."

Until Su Niannian was full and her clothes were slightly bulging from her belly, making her look round and plump.
Xie Tingyan had just emerged from his study after plotting something.
His gaze swept over the food on the table, and he thought to himself that she was really thick-skinned; she had witnessed him kill someone with his own hands last night, and yet she could still eat.
"You trust me that much? Aren't you afraid I'll poison your food?"
Su Niannian's body suddenly stiffened. Her little face finally relaxed, but then she looked at Xie Tingyan with despair, looking extremely pitiful.
Xie Tingyan and she exchanged a glance: "Don't worry, I didn't drug you."
Su Niannian: "........."
Why does this person love to scare people so much?
"If you've eaten your fill, come out with me." Xie Tingyan's tall figure walked straight out of the villa.
Su Niannian immediately got up and followed in his footsteps.
The villa's courtyard offers a wide view, surrounded by coconut trees, lush green grass, and bright sunshine, making one feel relaxed and comfortable.

The further we walked, the quieter it became.

We were almost at the end of the backyard.
Just then, a roar from an animal came from not far away.
The sound was deafening, like that of a large animal.
Su Niannian couldn't help but feel puzzled, and followed Xie Tingyan for a short distance.
She gradually made out the animal that was making the sound.
Ahead stood a massive wire mesh, as tall as a building, which acted as an impenetrable barrier, completely blocking the road ahead.
A white lion is lying beside a turquoise pool.
Its front paws are folded together, and its big head rests on them, its eyes half-closed in rest.
This was the first time Su Niannian had seen a lion up close, and it startled her.
Xie Tingyan had already walked to the iron fence. He turned his head and looked at Su Niannian, who was standing there dumbfounded, and said, "Come here."
Su Niannian really didn't want to go: "Can't I not go?"
Xie Tingyan said calmly, "What do you think?"
"Okay." Su Niannian shrank her neck, and even though she was very unwilling, she had no choice but to go over.
She slowly moved her feet to the front of the iron fence.
My heart was pounding with nervousness.
She looked at the man cautiously.
"Why did you bring me here...?"
She didn't believe Xie Tingyan had kindly brought her to see the lions.
Xie Tingyan did not answer her question. Su Niannian wondered if it was just her imagination, but his handsome profile seemed to soften in the sunlight. He raised his hand to his lips and whistled at the white lion inside.
"Pudding, come here."
The adult white lion, which was as tall as a person when standing, immediately opened its eyes when it heard Xie Tingyan call it, stood up and ran towards Xie Tingyan.
The scraping sound of the large claws on the ground shocked Su Niannian.
Pudding originally headed straight for Xie Tingyan.
But as the distance decreased, it suddenly changed direction.
It charged straight toward Su Niannian with an imposing air.
Su Niannian watched it run away with the wind in its wake.
It seemed as if it could swallow itself whole, thinking the white lion was hungry and wanted to have itself as a temporary meal.
Startled, she quickly hid behind Xie Tingyan.
"I'm so skinny, I'm not even worth two ounces of meat, not even enough to fill a lion's teeth. Please don't feed me to the lion."
As they were talking, Pudding had already run up to them.
It kept trying to squeeze through the iron fence with its big head.
I desperately want to open my mouth and speak.
Let it out.
But it was even more terrifying to Su Niannian.
Pudding was clearly starving and couldn't wait to devour her.
A look of confusion flashed across Xie Tingyan's eyes.
Images of his time with his younger sister involuntarily surfaced in his mind.
When Yao Yao first met Pudding, her chubby little body hid behind him in fear.
This is Su Niannian, whom I only met once.
Why does it give him a familiar feeling?
"Alright, Tingyan, stop scaring the young girl."
A gentle female voice suddenly broke the silence.
The clatter of high heels echoed on the stone pavement.
In the blink of an eye, I was standing beside them.
Su Niannian looked up.
The woman wore a red dress, her brown curly hair cascading naturally down her back. Her beautiful face was gentle, and her smile was kind and peaceful, a stark contrast to Xie Tingyan's coldness.
Xie Tingyan came to his senses.
He composed himself and asked, "Lina, what are you doing here?"
Lina glanced at him and said, "If I hadn't come, Miss Su would have been terrified."
When Xie Tingyan is with Lina, he seems like a completely different person.
He coughed lightly: "I didn't."
Lina stopped looking at the stubborn man.
He then took Su Niannian's hand, his expression filled with sorrow: "Miss Su, don't be afraid. Tingyan won't hurt you by bringing you back. He misses his little sister very much, and he sees Yaoyao's shadow in you. The reason he brought you here is because this white lion was Yaoyao's playmate when she was a child."
