Chapter 142 Bringing Them to the Small Pavilion

After evening self-study ended, Chen Bing led Shang Yunmiao to the bicycle shed as usual. The two didn't talk much along the way; apart from the soft touch on their hands reminding them that the other was beside them, there was nothing else to prove it.

The reason the two were so quiet, in Shang Yunmiao's opinion, was because they were troubled by what had happened during evening self-study. Had their behavior seemed a little too intimate? Had anyone noticed anything?

As for Chen Bing, his quiet silence was for another reason. At this moment, he was recalling Shang Yunmiao's uneasy behavior throughout the day and was planning a suitable place to carry out his legitimate interrogation.

Soon, he found a good place.

There is a simple pavilion at the corner of the teaching building. It is relatively well hidden by shrubs and green plants, and because it is located in a remote place, few people come here.

After confirming the location, Chen Bing gently pulled Shang Yunmiao towards it. The clueless Shang Yunmiao, unaware of her impending predicament and preoccupied with other thoughts, almost unconsciously followed Chen Bing to the pavilion.

When she realized that something seemed off about her surroundings, she looked up at Chen Bing with a confused and puzzled expression.

What are you doing here?

Faced with Shang Yunmiao's doubts, Chen Bing decided to answer them with actions.

As a grown man, Chen Bing didn't hesitate. He grabbed Shang Yunmiao's arm, gently pushed her against the wall, and then slammed her against it. Shang Yunmiao visibly panicked; she frantically crossed her arms over her chest, then slowly lowered them. Her eyes darted around, perhaps seeking help from passersby, or maybe just trying to make sure no one was watching.

After confirming that this was an excellent hiding place, Shang Yunmiao breathed a sigh of relief, and then looked at Chen Bing with a hopeful gaze.

What are you doing?

As time went on, Shang Yunmiao's joy became more and more obvious. She crossed her two small hands on her lower abdomen and stared with her big, bright eyes, waiting for Chen Bing to speak first.

Seeing how expectant she was, Chen Bing wasn't in a hurry. He first reached out and pinched Shang Yunmiao's cheek, enjoying the girl's smooth skin for a while before preparing to speak.

"What have you done today...?"

Splash...

Hmm! ? Is there rustling in the leaves?

Chen Bing and Shang Yunmiao turned their heads simultaneously in the direction of the sound, only to find a humanoid shadow struggling on the bushes. There was only one entrance and exit, so this person had obviously been there from the beginning. He probably lost his footing and accidentally fell, which was why he made the noise.

In other words, the other party saw what the two of them were doing!

Upon realizing this, before Chen Bing could think anything of it, Shang Yunmiao buried her face in Chen Bing's chest in embarrassment, thinking that he wouldn't be able to see her that way. At the same time, she whispered to Chen Bing, "Hurry up, hurry up, or we'll get caught!"

After patting the petite back to reassure the self-deceiving Shang Yunmiao, Chen Bing used the dim light to focus her gaze on the shadowy figure. The figure became increasingly familiar to Chen Bing, eventually overlapping with an acquaintance.

"Ma Shaolong?"

Upon hearing Chen Bing call his name, Ma Shaolong got up from the bushes and walked over to the two of them with an embarrassed expression.

"Yo...yo!"

"What are you doing here? I haven't seen you come back since you ran out after the first evening self-study session. So you ran here."

"Ah... I... I need to pee..."

When Shang Yunmiao heard the names of her classmates, she panicked, especially when Chen Bing not only didn't run away but also started chatting with them. Shang Yunmiao became even more flustered.

Her small hand, hidden in the shadows, kept poking Chen Bing's abdomen, signaling him to leave quickly before she was noticed.

Before Shang Yunmiao's idea could be realized, she heard Ma Shaolong say, "Brother Bing, you and your wife have a really good relationship."

Oh no, she'd been found out. Shang Yunmiao desperately wanted to turn around and refute Ma Shaolong, saying she wasn't Shang Yunmiao. But she wasn't stupid; she knew that turning around and being seen by him would be the real disaster. So, she could only keep poking Chen Bing, signaling him to quickly refute her claim that the person in his arms wasn't Shang Yunmiao.

For some reason, Chen Bing, who is usually very smart, made a foolish mistake at this moment. Instead of leaving with her immediately, she said directly to Ma Shaolong, "We are good friends, but Shang Yunmiao is not your sister-in-law yet."

After Chen Bing revealed his secret, Shang Yunmiao turned around with an embarrassed look on her face. After nodding slightly to Ma Shaolong, she hid behind Chen Bing, holding onto his clothes with one hand and gently circling his waist with the other, as if to say, "Don't mind me, keep talking."

"Have you been here from the beginning?" After Shang Yunmiao calmed down, Chen Bing turned to Ma Shaolong and asked.

The other person nodded readily, then shook their head after recalling their intimate little actions just now, saying, "I won't tell anyone."

Well, it doesn't really matter whether I say it or not, but Shang Yunmiao might care more. Sure enough, after Ma Shaolong said those words, little Shang paused slightly in her circling motion on Chen Bing's waist, and then resumed her cheerful circling.

Without saying much, Chen Bing nodded and prepared to leave with Shang Yunmiao. Although "Shocking! A first-year junior high school boy actually came to the woods to do this kind of thing during evening self-study..." was quite sensational and entertaining, Chen Bing was more interested in finishing up what she and Shang Yunmiao had just been interrupted about than gossiping.

"Brother Bing, I really envy you."

Unexpectedly, before Chen Bing could even ask, Ma Shaolong seemed ready to bring up the gossip.

Since this is free entertainment, I might as well stay and listen for a while. Anyway, Shang Yunmiao is in my hands; she can't escape anywhere.

"Hmm, you seem to have something on your mind. It's not good to keep these things bottled up inside. Why don't you tell me so I can have a laugh... and give me some advice?"

After listening to the words of the kind-hearted citizen Mr. Chen, Ma Shaolong sighed softly, then looked up at the starry sky at a 45-degree angle and asked casually, "Brother Bing, did I behave very poorly in the classroom just now?"
